**HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT** My silk hair accessories line made specifically for curls, coils & waves is LAUNCHED! Come check it out! bit.ly/curlfriendcollective
I totally agree with you on this line! I found them to be decent but too pricey, especially when I compare them to Curlsmith where you get the same or better quality but cheaper. What's interesting is I found my curls looked and felt dry by day 3-5 with this line (my hair is high porosity).
I wonder if that’s because there’s no protein in them. Agreed on the review - I’ve been using the shampoo and I think I personally like the olaplex shampoo better because of its consistency and ingredients.
Curlsmith costs as much as Aveda where I live (both in 45$ range 😬) and Aveda is available in store where I can get it on sale while Curl Smith is in specialty store that do not do sale (and very limited selection as well). Amazon ships but it costs twice as much with transport + import fees 🙈
I always buy this line on sale. Today the whole site 25 percent off plus free shipping. Also my hair is very fine virgin hair and I find the spray leave in to be enough moisture for me.
From personal experience, I have to say that the lightweight leave-in is great for fine hair, especially since it provides us and heat protection. My results when I diffuse with the leave-in have been visibly better than my results when I diffuse without the leave-in.
Also, if you want to try Aveda products, I suggest you wait until they have a sale. There are times when they give a free full sized product with a minimum purchase of 35 to 50 dollars.
trying out curlsmith right now, who knocked it out of the park imo. Hair was different on the 1st wash and I think today was the 1st day in my curly hair journey when I woke up and ringlets were juicy and still intact instead of limpy and needing a refresh. However, I did use the Aveda invati exfoliating shampoo as part of my clarifying and de-gunking regimen on my last wash, and it felt like my scalp started breathing again. Gonna see what their brand has to offer my extremely picky hair.
Missed you Chloe!. Glad you had a good time. Aveda is a little too pricey for me but thanks for the info. Maybe one day if I come into a bunch of money or if they have a really deep sale.
I absolutely love Aveda products....but.....not the prices! But unlike Living proof products which is absolutely worthless, Aveda is better. So I do own two of their products; I use their glossier and antihumectant pomade for when I wear my hair straight after roll-up and set under dryer, esp in the summer. In other words, I use them very sparingly! Great tutorial for understanding product value and costs.
Can you recommend a gel that tightens your curls (want to look like you!!!) I tried most gels but they are very sticky. My hair seems to have a problem curling. Great videos bythe way
I don t have curly hair but, it works wonders on my straight hair. It is a good line. You don t need to have curls to use this line. That leave in product worth every penny if you have frizzy hair. And it lasts forever.
I am need of an "everyday" shampoo. I have super thick thirsty curls much like yours but maybe with a tad tighter curl pattern. I have looked at these several times but cannot seem to pull the trigger due to the price tag. I am interested in trying a Not Your Mother's Naturals Shampoo. Which do you use/suggest in the NYM's natural line ...pink or green bottles? Or a different one than those two?
Maybe this is a random request, but I'd love to see a video filming room/office space. I remember seeing it when you first bought the house and it was empty. But I'd love a video that gives a little tour of your workspace.
Hi! I bought the travel size of the daily treatment since my hair is not very thick and I can use a pea size and I also bought the curl gelee. LOVE the line too but I am finding it's not quite enough hold for me. I am going to try to mix the gelee with hard hold gel next time and see what the results are. I think the gelee gave me great curls! Any thoughts?
I was really contemplating them or curlsmith on Black Friday. The price was just too much. I got so much products at such a great deal with curlsmith. And I know their products are good. I still don’t know how well aveda would work for me. So I went with the safer bet. I’m glad that now their is so many higher and lower price point options that curly girls can choose from.

Thank you for being so honest!!! Curly hair needs tons of love but I'm not willing to go broke for it.
Exactly! There are a few products that are in that high price point I would genuinely say are worth the price, but there are VERY few!

Thank you for your honest review. This curl journey is HARD

What do you recommend as a good shampoo for dry sensitive scalps for curly girls?

I never seen you style your hair for review I'm just that i really want to see you style your hair while you reviewing the products.
I've been wanting to try this line but it's way too expensive for me so I bought the travel sizes on black Friday since it was more affordable lol

I’m going to be honest, I kept thinking that I love your lip color the entire video LOL
Any ideas on the protein content? My curls are super sensitive to it.
Have you ever tried the davines love line?
I haven't yet! I've definitely heard good things about it though!
Good review.
You look so pretty in this video
Not Your Mother's has spoiled me with their price point. 🤣 It's hard to even look at more expensive brands.
They’re a fav affordable line of mine too!
I have seen good reviews about the line, but my mouth keeps dropping at the price tag…….
Exactly! I think overall it’s a generally good line, but that sticker shock is rough!
@@Frizzandfrillzz that’s more expensive than Curlsmith…..
A word of advice: look for fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.
A sale might entice me....regular price does not. Wow, expensive!
