Living proof actually did have another curl line a few years ago, they were in dark navy bottles. It was nice but not magical or spectacular or anything lol. Very thorough and excellent review, thank you so much.

I tried Living Proof a few times before. But never stuck with it for the price. I did love it. But didn't think I'd be able to afford it. After my previous drugstore hair products made my scalp itchy, I decided to try this line, again because I did love it before and had no problems with it.
So, I am trying shampoo, conditioner, dry scalp, and the oil. I may try the styling products later, if I decide to continue with any of my purchases.
Thanks for this review. I bought the gel only, just because I really wanted to try it. I think I will finish my styling with a mousse containing polyquat 4, to try to help with the glycerin (frizz) effect. Good video!!

I've been using PHD No Frizz line for years and years, before being CG even. That line is pretty close to CG already. They do have a hair mask.
I was using DermOrganics, but they completely stopped, and then reformulated their shampoos. I haven't tried the new ones yet. But I still have a big bottle of Jessicurl still, so it will be a bit before I'm back on PHD.

Considering those are 12 oz bottles, I think the price in the salon range. But if ya don't love it-nah. Hey, we're kinda close by, I'm an hour south of the WI/IL border & yes we get humid in the summer & other odd times is why I just say no to glycerin! Yr background wall was so worth it, very cool!
Living Proof has a leave-in it's in the Restore line. It's a really good and contains hydrolyzed silk for some protein benefits.

I also feel like the sizes are too small for the price. I like curlsmith and briogeo as well but the sizes are bigger. So more bang for the bucks

Even for my finer hair with a looser curl pattern I was not impressed. It didn't have the slip or detangling abilities but yet somehow still weighed my hair down?? I'm so confused and dissapointed. I'm gonna return the conditioner.
I’m really glad I found you & this video in particular. Yesterday I found the LivingProof’s Curl Enhancer at T J MAX w/a price point of $16. Until then I wasn’t aware they had a curl line. May I ask if your curls are natural or permed? Your volume is lovely. I had a spiral perm about a 11 days ago. My hair is shorter than yours, but it’s high porosity, thick and coarse curly hair. I only bought those two styling products that you had. I also wasn’t that impressed. Have a heard of or tried Adwoa hair products? I’m waiting for the next Sephora sale and think I’m trying this brand. They have larger quantities of their products for similar prices to Living Proof.

Also I like to ask do you think using different products on your hair to achieve different results is good? I struggle with that because you hear that the complete line of products is necessary. What are your personal thoughts. Thank you.
Try living in Australia, and paying almost $500 for one of the Curlsmith lines. $126 would be fine! I'd be running out to by it "take my money, take my money!!!!" hahahah!

@@Frizzandfrillzz I know, right? But I DID buy the WHOLE detox line... the cleansers, conditioner, deep conditioner, stylers, and the growth capsules, and the two growth elixirs. Still, the products were around AUD50 per bottle!

Thee best hair on utube!!!!! I have two questions for you Chloe.
1. As you can tell from my pic I am definitely a bottle blonde with dark roots.
I recently went all blonde but when my roots grow in they are sooooo dark and noticeable.
I was considering adding in some low lights to avoid being so rooty but I really do like blonde!
So now I’m wondering after seeing your incredibly blonde curls mixed with the dark roots is this a thing?
Or do you bleach your entire head periodically? I don’t know 🤷♀️ I’m 51 and am not up on the current trends.
2. When your hair is completely dried and styled do you use hairspray? My problem is as you can tell from my picture is that I have wavy hair. Once I pick it and get it voluminous it just falls FLAT minutes later. Any suggestions here?? Thanks friend 👩🦱

Don’t they sell the travel kit there? I found it on look fantastic for 39€(EU). Expensive for travel sizes but still cheaper than 126$ 😬
Great review! Super helpful for me to figure out if I wanted to give it a try. I think I might try the styler if I get a coupon from Sephora, but that shampoo and conditioner price is a super No.

The shampoo is kinda getting frizz not curl enhancer but loosen even the waves :/
Briogeo is way pricier than LP
I did not enjoy Living Proof. The smell was off-putting, and the products made my curls stringy and weighed-down. If I'm going to spend that much, I prefer the Virtue products. But neither brand is as good as Curlsmith.
You should look for fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.
That's a LOT of $$$$
