Hi! Thanks for the review! The Kristen Ess curl line is her newest launch and she plans to add more products to it. She has a curl cream in her grey bottle line that I really like. It is a tad drying but it enhances my course waves like no other! I want to try this shampoo next!

Your brows look great 💯😍😆 I only used Biolage gellee for years because it had the hold I needed & wasn’t into spending money on new products that might not work. I seriously need to know all your go too’s/ favorites 💯 I have thick coarse high porosity hair which I think is what you said you have. So thank you for testing new products & sharing with us! So is a micellar water shampoo a clarifying one shampoo? I’m hoping to get some travel size Curlsmith products to finally try, id love to know which ones I need to get that U love? I just tried the micellar purifying shampoo and really liked it! It's not stripping, but definitely cleans and even has a couple of chelating ingredients (which I need due to hard water). I wasn't impressed with the curl selection, based on ingredients that I know my hair likes
What’s refresh Products you recommend? I get really bad freeze the next day

The other curl line products are in a grey bottle. That’s where u would find the curl cream.

How is your hair not a matted mess? I protect my curls at night with a buff or silk scarf with a satin pillow case. I deraglr heavily before I style. But my hair knots even after just detangling and takes me 45 min to detangle with a hydrating mask in my hair. Im so fed up I dont know what to do anymore 😪

How do you detangle for a refresh?
if you need to detangle, that's when you want that specific curl to be extremely damp, brush through and re-finger coil
When I refresh it looks good for a couple hours but then it seems like it just gets worse. Idk what I'm doing wrong haha
Maybe try to seal with an oil if you dont do that already?
Hi Rachel! It may be the products you're using. You may need a stronger hold gel and potentially may need more hydration. Try using a heavier leave-in if the stronger gel doesn't do it alone. ❤️
I'm conflicted because I do kind of have the curl pattern they said- coily but fine. It still might be too light hold just based on how much you were having to go in with...just seems not worth it.

I agree, it was voluminous and looked beautifully fluffy soft before the refresh. It became weighed down.
I’m seeing a ton of product build up here. That is probably the cause of your frizz. Time to clarify.
