- USNA Glee Clubs sings at Senator McCain's funeral - "Battle Hymn of the Republic", with the U.S. Navy Band, D.C. and Washington National Cathedral Choir.
A man of honesty, integrity, uprightness, morality, ethics, virtue, principle, probity, rectitude, decency, fairness, trustworthiness, character, and honor.
He is literally in Hell.
despite all of those qualities, it boils down to a simple question: Did he know Jesus as his personal Savior?
Arguable on many of those.
Contrast that to what we have today 😢

I first sang this work as a sophomore in high school concert choir, and I knew then the challenge of singing this well to convey its message. It was hard as 15-year-old kid with all the vocal parts, range, balance, blend, and control that was needed to sound amazing. It was such a moving experience to perform, and I remember feeling after the concert, I could not put into words I how I felt because it was so overwhelming. That emotional connection to music that cannot be put into words was so strong, and now hearing this again, takes me right back to those moments. Seeing the young military men and women pour their skill, talent, and passion into this performance for a wonderful man who did so much for America, makes me feel hopeful for the future our of country. Thank you to the USNA Glee Clubs, US Navy Band, D. C. and Washington National Cathedral Choir for this powerful performance and may Senator McCain rest in peace.
I’m singing this tomorrow for my schools concert as a sophomore too! When we rehearse it’s definitely an experience near the end of the song every time. We sing this as a tradition every year so I’m excited to sing it again next year

Senator McCain is one of the few politicians I have the utmost respect for. He wore the uniform defending our great nation against foreign aggression and was one of the few who suffered for it. He finally came home and protected our nation again through politics and I honestly believe he did an outstanding job. At least his track record doesn't reflect getting coffee and donuts or 40 plus years accomplishing absolutely nothing. We are losing the great ones and left with well, what is left after the great ones report to the Supreme Commander. Rest in Peace Senator McCain. You truly deserve it.

The "few" who suffered for it? You are out of your gourd and I could tell a completely different story but McCain is dead so let's just leave it there and celebrate that the criminals he was surrounded by for his entire life all got kicked out of power in government today.

Senator John Mc Caine is a Saint he endured 5 years of Solidary Confinement and torture which he endured deep suffering for a brave human being as he is. Sympathy to all his family. We can pray to Senator John Mc Cane as he dwells in heaven Rest in Peace free of pain.

I have no political affiliation at all. I'm a registered voter but I wouldn't go as far as saying voting is on my list of priorities in life. I've known of who John McCain is since high school 40 years ago. When I came across this video couldn't help but shed a tear for Senator McCain. In my book regardless of his political party, John McCain was a hero and a true American patriot. RIP.

I absolutely loved and respected Senator John McCain. I attended 5 his campaign rally in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania when he was running for the presidential seat. I had a long-standing relationship with him over the years. He was a very good friend to my uncle Ted Kennedy and worked with him in the United States senate. I was deeply saddened at his passing. I was able to watch the whole funeral live in the UK, it was a rare Saturday when I had no other commitments.
