Suilven

This out and back walk from Glencanisp takes in the classic Suilven. It was a grey still morning when we setoff which only slightly improved as the day progressed so unfortunately no clear summit view this time. The new path from the main track to the hill makes a big difference and has eliminated the bog walking on the ascent.

Almost climbed that one with my former brother in law 20 odd years ago. We were in the Tummel Valley on holiday. Always regretted not doing it. Too late now, as the knees wouldn't take it! Lovely to see Charlie, thank you.

We were up there the week before, it was stunning weather, you must have been shifting to do it in 5.5hrs.

A wee bit dreicht, but your shots of clear days show what we’re missing. Another of those walls. Maybe boundaries? New path looks good.
