Scape you should definitely start a f2p series, I would watch the heck out of that.
My 5 Mech hanger is at just over 10800 power now. I have followed Scapes video assessments for mechs on everything… except… Redox which I used over 9k A coins for. He was right in his video… it was a MASSIVE mistake. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! His tips on maps, strategies etc. are also spot on. Having watched his videos and run against him I can also say he’s deadly. His in game footage isn’t a tiny snippet from a lot of attempts. What you see is really how good he is. When I am on the other side, I wish he wasn’t! Lmao
What kinda stuff would you want in a f2p series?
Just seeing how far you can progress being f2p, how many weapons you can unlock and stuff like that. It would be awesome.

Thanks bro, i wasn't playing Mech Arena and i saw the ACCOLADE CHALLENGE in your video and logged in, i opening nade launcher chest 3 times and got nade launcher 16 on 3rd time
It's sad because that AD pack u show in the shop, it actually had fortune keys (10 to be exact where the 5000 credits are now) I used to collect them all and get like 750 A coins and some cool skins every day
You can still get plenty of keys from weekly’s, events, tdm, etc. but yea: if you could do it daily for free, that’s tough.

I am 100% free to play and it’s amazing how many resources you can get following Scape’s tips. I am currently at 25k A coins and 2.8m silver. Yes it has taken time, but not as long as you would think. I am holding on for the tier update before spending the resources (another Scape tip!) Thanks Scape!

Hi Scape, srry couldn't watch your vid earlier than this but I want to ask for a favor from you. can you tell Plarium to PLEASE update the AI pathfinder or whatever cause every match the second I start going to my fav advantage spot, there r like shadows or lancers that r just faster than my mech and they go infront of me and then turn around and just block me from going any where, or sometimes I'm dominating the fields with my sniper mech and then an M.D. comes out of now where and blocks my shots. giving just enough time for the other player to kill me and the worst part is that that bot doesn't even die it just steals my kill and wander away while healing pls help. I have lost about 10 matches just last week because of this
That annoys me too. The AI pathing in terrible. They need to walk in a straight line more often instead of weaving back and forth. They always get in the way!

I can try. I have grabbed some shots here and there and had a mind to make a video on it, but it’s not necessarily conclusive as I don’t know how it all works.
So you're on an alt account starting fresh, but what if you're on your main account. If you are further along, but have skipped some of the lower stuff, I'm assuming the higher stuff remains unlocked, but your locked in to play at a lower level while you unlock your lower level stars? Make sense? Also pilots remain the same? Just have to shop for them or get through events?
Small recent change; they made shotgun 4 cost A coins :( not expensive but as limited as they are I didn’t invest

No
no, first thing is u dont unlock the weapon that ull get for free soon.
and second no, the mech doesnt get cheaper, the weapon with mech will be counted in current tier if u have it.
No the cost stays the same. Honestly this is really only relevant in the first 2 tiers. Mechs later on the path use these same weapons. If you buy them early though (with real money) I don’t know if they come with said weapons. Probably not.
So the current progress path stays even with the gear hub? The prices in the "inventory" now reflect the prices in the gear hub?

Man I didn't know and didn't expect they would still keep derby events for arachnos even after gear hub update. I do doubt whether this is just becoz some mechanics of the live server still remain in these accounts which have gear hub for testing. If so they may remove that derby once gear hub is live for all
That’s entirely possible. I have no idea when they intend to do. However arachnos and sb8 aren’t amazing and only credits on the tier they are on. So it’s not insane to leave them as is. Plus, getting sb8 for free is only 3 stars. If you get it on the tier it’s 4. So there is a potential downside to getting it this way.

You have to be consistent. Doing dailies, watching ads, doing weeklies and events when you can. Playing some tourney can help too, but I generally don’t play it.

@@WorldZeroGuide oh you ffa right? Yea I usually don’t play ffa. It’s very difficult and people try to manipulate their hangar for easy wins. So I skip it a lot. Just focus on your dailies, weeklies, ads, and events that you can do and you’ll get there

I just got DL8's and they work good on Guardian, he is very hard to approach because of system shock and from distance you can shoot around corners.
Ares is alright but he's not better than Guardian imho. Just put arc torrents 6 on him and he becomes a nice deterrent when someone try to capture your point or in a choke point.
I may but given how everything sits on the progress path, I don’t know the best way to approach it for all. Especially if some just have less value and will be shelved for many. Like would it make sense to do a best loadouts for md? Probably not sadly…

Yea just for the stars and filling out the hangar if needed for ffa. If you don’t get MD you could star up stuff a few times but it would be more cost prohibitive for temporary items.

I think I will prefer to star up than spending a lot of resources on buying new weapons (how did you get 500 A-coins), probably not the best, but as i will not use them later its a go
It depends on the item. Starring up can be more beneficial especially if you want to use it longer and spend some money. It will get tougher to do that as f2p as you progress since you put more resources into one star (rank up) than a new item having multiple. But again it depends on the item and situation. I like that it’s flexible.
As for getting 500, it was just basic stuff: events, dailies, ads. That’s it. Didn’t even get the 400 from vault blitz yet.
If you buy a weapon that will come with a mech, does the price of the mech lower due to it not being a "package"?

Some things about the gear hub are kind of overpriced like the fusion cannon 6 is $35.99 and other epic weapons cost over 2000 a coins
In general they feel slightly higher than the current path. But I suppose that’s the price we pay for having access to everything. Makes the process longer though which stinks

plarium is so greedy. They could have released that progress update very early but no, they instead make newer and stronger versions of already existing weapons to sell them. The new progress was probably already ready when they announced it. When is the update even coming? Next year???

I don’t mind when it came. I’m annoyed they didn’t put more on the current progress path we have. The reasoning felt lame when we had 40+ spots they could’ve put some items on. Maybe not all on there but some for sure. Nothing for a whole year is terrible.
