Just reached tier 6 yesterday and bought sentinal . Its nice that tier 6 has some credit based purchses or else i would be stuck here grinding s coins when they have even removed the 30 acoins we get from watching videos.

Personally I definitely recommend the nade 10, it's really worth it and it's cheap
Yea i shouldve clarified that i think nades in general have potential. But the 10 on its own isnt likely going to do much for any given player. The 6 and 8 are generally not worth their price tag for where they are and that puts the 10 in a weird solo position. But the nades as a weapon have a lot of potential. Just a higher learning curve than most weapons.
@@scape211I got lucky in the past in crate rush and I have arc turret 12 rank 4 level 7 I got javine 12 rank 5 level 6 and I got em rifle 6 rank 4 level 7 I been playing for so long on this account I also before the gear hub bought brickhouse so I have em rifle 6 on him for now
Is there a way to counteract the fact that hitting players as they run away is basically impossible?
@@CorruptdKetchup you mean with nades? not entirely sure. Probably takes practice in placement and might require being on pc with manual aiming. Tbh I dont play nades enough to know....

Another thing is the fusion cannon 10 (270k credits) similar situation with nade 10 but the nade 10 could go on redeemer or even better. If you have killshot as you’re an old player at 4 star. A nade 10 and javelin 6 is pretty good

Can definitely understand that. I do plan to take my time in this tier. Mainly for getting a full suite of legendary pilots. I almost talked about when to get pilots and stuff but the video was already running long so ill probably talk about it somewhere else.

Great videos with educational content that helps new and seasoned players. Suggestion: with Platinum having taken away free implant interchange can you do a video that would concentrate on pilots and which implants would best suit Bot/pilot combo while being flexible to interchange among other complimentary bots?
Yea I do eventually want to talk about a pilot guide. I mostly wanted to do it after I had some time with the new gear hub to know when to get certain pilots.

My top recommendation is not to make all of these choices with your head, but rather with your heart. Yes, it's awesome dominating the arena but these days I mainly ask myself what would be the most fun way of spending a-coins. What will retain my joy for this game? What would be a crazy combo to try out? What would bring a smile to other players in the arena? Those are the things that makes me excited going into every battle.
Yea thats a fair way to view it. But its also subjective so its hard for me to make a guide on. Ultimately the game is about having fun though so do whats fun for you. I know on my main account I have my jumpy lancer with disruptors in my hangar. Fun times :)

I think maybe it isn't too bad that u took jav 6 since now I noticed that arc12 is just 125 acoins more than the 10 so u can go for arc 12. Also nice that grav beam and sentinel is for credits.
Yea i didnt say that here, but i was thinking about the fact that ill be moving towards 18 energy mechs and an arc12/6 build will make more sense moving forward. In the meantime ill be getting panther soon. So excited!
I am an old player who came back to the game. So I already had killshot 3 star and I upgraded it to 4. So my scout problem was solved.
I feel instead of doing Gear hub Tier 6 7 and 8. Firstly , It's better to Max your current mechs and Weapon. So, that u feel easy in battlefield.

Yea i do think I am going to focus more on getting things stronger now. I will likely buy the mechs/items on this tier and focus on maxing things as well as getting legendary pilots before i move much further. But its going to be a looooooong time before I have a new GH guide video i guess....
I have been curious - do you ever improve your gear in these early tiers? I have been upgrading levels but not ranks; more so in tier 5 now that I have to save up a-coins and credits accumulate far faster. Not sure if it makes things easier or just matches with harder opponents.
@@thescarletmanuka I havent much beyond some that are stand outs like Guardian or a few weapons I may use later like mr8 or arc6. Generally anything you use for credits means you wont have them for high end purchases or upgrades for better gear later so I try to stock up.
What do you think about the "standardized" reward for daily sponsored videos from acoins to credits.

I think it sucks and it confuses me. The acoins we got for ads made perfect sense as it filled a gap we needed AND provided MA with ad revenue. I hope that people use ads less now so they realize its a thing they should bring back.
Nice video, I have one question, is it better to buy minigun 8 or em rifle 8?
I think EM8. Minigun 8 isnt bad, but has a limited lifespan imo. Minigun 12 and 16 are good at end game, but the rest will fall behind. However, the EM8 can have late game potential for like EM8/16 builds or even on mechs like orion, brickhouse, and stalker to pump up their damage. And since each shot has high damage, these mechs can let their damage carry on longer. Minigun 8 will require too much exposure late game.

Hey, I have a problem, since I'm grinding for the tier 5 mechs, (Aegis, Redeemer, Zephyr), I don't know which slot to put each in, like I know where I'm going to put zephyr because i currently have Arachnos as filler for my hangar, and I know that I'm going to replace my Ares for Aegis, (stats-wise, Aegis is a beast), but that leaves me wondering where I would put Redeemer, My hangar is Panther, Stalker, Guardian, Ares (replace with Aegis), and Arachnos (replace with zephyr), and I don't want to get rid of stalker yet
I would personally go one of 2 ways. One is Panther, Aegis, Stalker, Zephyr, and Redeemer to keep in Stalker as you have. Or go Panther, Aegis, Stalker, Guardian, Redeemer.
For me, Guardian is generally more useful than both stalker and zephyr. Stalker and Zephyr feel kind close. Stalker is potentially better, but zephyr having better stats out of the bag might be considered better and both arent really worth doing much upgrading on imo. So my hangar choice might be something like Panther, Aegis, Redeemer, Guardian, Zephyr. But id likely have to play around with it for a bit.

what star rating are your killshot and panther? If they are 3 star, the game will likley equate them to like a 3 or 4 star rare or uncommon. So youll want to think about that as you play. If they end up putting you against enemies you struggle with (like maybe your weapons are too weak), then try running some matches without them in your hangar and use stuff from the given tier you are in or lower. It should help the match making adjust to you for opponents and AI more suited to you. Easiest way to do that is to test like 5 to 6 matches in a custom game with bots. Hope that helps!

Really its just baout being consistent - do dailies, weeklies, ads, and events. Thats said, they have been taking away acoin stuff recently which is really bad. So my progress will likely slow down too.

The 10 is okay, I have all of them the 10 I use the least.. unless it dual copy or you're pairing it with another grav beam it's not gonna do much at all, and will take a long time too kill anything
I will definitely be buying it on this tier (711k credits though; not 7k). I plan to run a GB10/SB8 type build to test it out. Probably on panther. I also think I may dual copy it for running on panther later. Since it already starts at 5 stars its not too bad. But it depends on how easily I can get the BPs.

I didnt have enough, but was very close (like 200 acoins away). If i took arc10s it wouldve been much longer. Actually i already got panther since making this video.
Also, i figured i will largely be working towards 18 energy mechs and the arc12 is almost the same cost as the 10 on the next tier. So when i unlock legendary mechs there I can do 12/6 arc builds.
When's the next event including spending acoins, I've finally saved but I'm thinking that it's a waste just buying him off the bat, and so I'm waiting for an event 😑

Makes total sense. I would focus on aegis first then. He’s the best mech in this tier after his buff.
I'm stuck Between Redeemer or Helix 10. Which to get, I do have killshot at 18 energy and Jav 12
do you have any other helix? and what would your plan be for this helix10? If you dont really have one, it will likey sit in your inventory. Especially considering that helix 12 is in the next tier. So I guess i lean towards redeemer, but i also dont have killshot. So yea.....tough call overall. Justr want to think about what makes more sense in the long term vs short term.

yea Ares or Stalker is probably a common choice at this point. You may also want to use Sentinel if you are on the same tier as me and can get him since hes cheap.

I think Ares will be better because I'm about to rank him up to 16 energy and will be able to run him with arc 6 and 10
@@swatiagarwal4282 Ares is a nice tank for now. I wouldnt take him past 4 stars as the value starts to deminish as you move up the tiers and get harder opponents. However, its a solid choice for now.

sure you can. However early buys likely wont net you as many stars. So just make sure you can calculate what you would buy and what you will upgrade to account for any star loss on its given tier.

One mistake. You said helix rack does more damage then javelin rack but that is not true because not only does max javelin rack do more damage then max helix rack but also has the double damage perk as well.

that used to be the case when both first came out, but that was before the grade update. Now the helix are pretty much objectively better in every way except for their initial purchase price and having a slightly bigger minimum range gap.

@@shreshthprasad8693 redeemer and aegis, both needs a lot of skill to use, unlike panther or cheetah.
I lean towards redeemer since it fits what i needed for my hangar and playstyle. Cheetah is a specialized mech and I dont think its an obvious or easy pick for many. However, if he fits your playstyle, he can be very strong.

I got zypher as my first mech and i just think its good. No one knows how to counter it here and its cheap
yea an early zephyr buy is really strong. not only is he good as far as grade/stats but his ability has next to no counters early on. Just gotta watch out for guardians or players baiting your ability. Or others who buy stuff early too...
@@scape211 yeah so far only things like gaurdians are my counter. Obviously as you said, whales are different story (i have bought some items too actually but i won't consider myself a whale. I have only spent like 4-5 dollars so far).
Mechs like surge, killshot, bastion and panther may pose threat but we'll what can you do against them.
I still have a screenshot of when a max surge with max level with max arc 12 with max level with max pilot with max legendary implants was playing in my free to play. HE GOT 28 KILLS! How? He just was sitting in the centre and his range was good enough for all arround and no was could counter him. I saw a gaurdian with missile rack 8 sacrifice himself 😢. NOTHING HAPPENED. HE TOOK ALL THE SHOTS WHILE BEING STILL AND WHEN HE GOT HIS WEAPONS BACK SHOT HIM AND BOOM😅😂

Upgrading Guardian to max for f2p, is it worth it?
It could be. Guardian's ability still provides something other mechs dont and it becomes even more important/useful if you have his legendary range implant.

@@luciferwayne1097 you mean like the legendary ones? They can be and even the epic cooldown one is great. The GH achievements can be tough to complete and will likely steer you away from normal GH progresion. However, if you are taking your time or chose to it can be a nice goal.

nope. 2mil credits is easy to stack from dailies, events, and ads. Seriously. I just dont spend it on other stuff or upgrades. Especially when i know most of the items I have had will not be worth investing in. So i save them to make sure I have credits for the next purchases in the next tier.
