I lost my mother the first part of this year. this song reminds me of when I played the video for her, She got up and started dancing to it, mind you she was 84. Littlemama still had. Love her and miss her so much. Thank you Ronnie for keeping this happy time with my mom in my life everyday. I watch this video everyday and see my mom.
allright i hear you. I am 72 years of years of age and iI still ;love this song. I have seen both grover and ronnie live in concert and they were both outstanding.
I'm 67, have had a heart attack, bypass surgery AND I still get up and dance. Dancing is just another form of exercise. What gets me are the ones who think I should just stop doing because of my age and health issues. I'll stop dancing when I stop living...
We was at this concert it blew me away to see Ronnie play Grover Washington Me Magic great show the scat part with the keyboard player coolThe Laws Family are awesome and all so talented Ty for sharing
I and my baby sis and some other friends was at thee show what a night for some cool jazz with R, Laws Jazzy Phunky and soulful so sweet the sound Ty for sharing
I had the great fortune to meet Grover after one of his shows. Very nice and do an to earth man. Saw him four times and each time was a real treat! He and a few others changed the landscape of jazz in the 70s and beyond. He was one of the best! RIP GWJr.
Very respectable ... however I fell in love with Grover when he released Mr. Magic. It will forever be the Standard!!!! Missing Mr. Grover Washington, Jr. and the live at the Bijou Theatre version ... well, what can I say?
After reading almost the entire forum, I was able to find out the name of the keyboardist. His fantastic only makes me curious and intrigued to follow his musical career. Gerald Gibbs.
Only 713 likes? Call me an old fogy, but young musicians today get paid millions to cry into their beer, to music that's less sophisticated than most nursery rhymes. Young listeners are missing a trick here. Millennials what's wrong with this? They'll probably never find it. They're too busy being depressed. Ronnie rules!
