I love the Kora Organics balm and pretty much everything they do! Their new masks are really good too- I’m loving the overnight one, can’t wait to hear what you think! Another Australian brand Go-To skincare has recently launched in US Sephora and their face oil “Face Hero” is the best oil I’ve ever used by far!! ❤️❤️

okay okay your skincare vibe is soo up my alley it’s unreal. I have super sensitive skin, I get eczema so not only does it get irritated easily, it’s also super prone to dehydration and dryness. You neeed to check out Pai Skincare (the cleanser is gorgeous and so gentle but effective, the hydrating serum is honestly the best, the calming moisturiser is gorgeous again etc.), the Bybi beauty booster oils (but maybe not the supercharge serum because it’s high in essential oils) and the Omorovicza deep cleansing mask is the only clay mask my skin has ever agreed with!
I put skincare way before makeup so this video is greatly appreciated. And yes, I would love to see a beauty/makeup video like this.
I use a lot of products from FAB, Paula’s Choice, The Ordinary, and just started a sample from Curology. The Curology idea came from a Wayne Goss video on how to get prescription strength retinols.
I also use a lot of skincare products from indie shops from Etsy, etc. One that’s fabulous is Chikyu, especially if you like K-Beauty. I’ve been using a Calendula face balm from a shop called HolisticOrganics, as well as their Blue Tansy Face Oil. They’ve both been saving my dry winter skin. There’s a shop called JamilahAromatherapy that has the most amazing hydrosols. I especially love the cucumber/cornflower! I’ve also found that making DIY products is really beneficial too because I know exactly what I’m putting on my body. Lol, I could go on and on.

I will say, the cerave cleansers and the cream in the tub have done wonders for my skin. Also, the Paula's choice resist sunscreen....it works so well under makeup, and it blurs my pores than any face primer I've tried, its awesome.

Love your skincare videos! I’ve been wanting to splurge on May Lindstrom skincare for almost a year now. I wish it wasn’t so pricey! 😬 My number one brand obsession right now is Indie Lee. Favorites are the brightening cleanser (pleasant bouncy gel that lathers up so nicely and smells like fresh strawberries) and the squalane oil (scent free, absorbs so easily, and it gives my skin a natural glow). 😍

Been really loving First Aid Beauty for my dry, sensitive skin. I live in PE, Canada. Especially love the Ultra Repair BarriAIR cream, Ultra Repair Intense Hydration cream, and the Ultra Repair Oat and Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil. All have very gentle ingredients. Please include more vids like this, love learning what you do for skincare and a makeup vid would be amazzzzing

@Julia I definitely notice a change in my unevenness of my skin tone. I don't have too much texture but the two creams are really nice for my dry skin and would work well for combo too I imagine. For me, the oil is the more effective

Thank you for the oil recommendations! I'm jumping on that Clarins! I And not to burst your bubble, but the mists totally dry out your face! Any time you get your face wet it compromises your natural skin barrier and your skin will lose moisture! Consider misting less and see if your irritation goes away!

The noni eye oil is everythinggg..and the new noni sleep mask- ugh to die for. The Phoenix oil is delightful! You should try the youth to the people superberry oil. It’s hands down my favorite oil ever

The omorovicza deep cleansing mask is my life saver. It immediately minimizes any redness and breakouts I have. I personally love the smell as well.
These skincare videos are life changing. I don't know if you have ever tried the "Laniege lip sleeping mask" from Sephora but I have very dry, chapped lips and I can't live without it. I also recently purchased the "Belief The True Cream Moisture Bomb" on recommendation from a friend with very dry, sensitive skin and I am loving it. Would love for you to do a luxury makeup products.

Allana you’re absolutely correct about the face oils and scarring . I had bad scarring from a reaction to chemo and a scar from surgery under my eye and I swear pure Rose Hip oil made an absolute difference. My dermatologist was amazed my scars were gone! I use Drunk Elephant Marula oil and pure Buckthorn mixed with almond and other oils. Oils make a huge difference
LIP MASK recommendation: The Body Shop wild Argan solid oil for lips - it's sooo hydrating and it's not sticky at all (I find the Bite agave lip mask is so sticky). You can wear it during the day and it has a bit of shine, or I slather it on at night and it keeps my very dry lips hydrated until the A.M. 💋
I’m currently using the pixi rose blend oil!!! I’m loving how hydrated my skin has been with it and I have a mini DE Marula (??) oil on the way!! I really want to try the youth to the people oil. I loooove the olé Henriksen truth serum for the day time and I need to try more masks that don’t break me out. The Farmacy honey potion gives me a reaction

I just recently purchased The Glow Recipes Watermelon Sleep set and I’m so excited! Not sure if you saw that they released an avocado one for super dry skin. Also, recently purchased the Grape Water and I’m not noticing a huge difference but it definitely feels wonderful going on!
I’m currently switching to all clean products due to an allergic reaction to sulfates and parabens in my beauty products. I developed Perioral Dermatitis and it has been a nightmare getting my skin back to normal. 😫
Also, if you haven’t used any of the Skyn Iceland products, they’re FANTASTIC.
I find it so interesting that face mists work for you! (and i'm happy they do!). I have really dehydrated skin too, but it got a lot better after I stopped using them. My doctor explained to me that if they have any water in them, that will just draw out the water thats in my skin and make it worse, so you use more mist to correct it and it happens more etc. Mind blown.
Also i've always wanted to use a balm stick like that but I can't get over the fact that it might be dragging bacteria around my skin - a leftover concern from my acne days! 😭 Great video! 💕 x
I have been OBSESSED with Evolve Organic Beauty Hyaluronic Acid. I just love how plump my skin looks, I feel like it really helped the dryness around my mouth. I also been loving Pai Rosehip Oil. I've been on a journey to find the perfect oil for me and I think that ones it. My other favorite is Drunk Elephant LaLa Retro Whipped Cream. When I combine everything, it just makes my skin look so supple. I feel like it's more balanced, and a little more radiant.
Yes to Pai rosehip oil. Felt and saw a difference in a couple of days.

THIS VIDEO IS LIFEEEE! I have such dry flaky skin and most youtubers I follow are oily... I feel like very few have truly dry skin. I am going to give these recommendations a try! If you could keep posting more videos about the dry skin type and foundations, skincare, etc. that work for you, that would be amazing!

I've really been into Kiehl's the past months. The Midnight Recovery Facial Oil and Eye Cream are amazing. Also really love the Ultra Facial Moisturizer as a basic moisturizer, great under make-up as well! And my more recent find which I've been LOVING for extra moisture and using in place of a nightcream; the Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque. For SPF the La Roche-Posay Anthélios Ultra Suncreen SPF50+ for the Face is great!
NOTE: I have sensitive dehydrated skin, but do get spots. These all work great for that and don't make me break out!
I love Philosophy’s Renew Hope in a jar moisturizing cream and it has definitely changed my skincare routine ever since I used it 2 years ago!

Fiona Sz You don't have to worry. Good skin and skincare are not reserved for the rich. Luxury does not equal good skin. That's why you have to educate yourself in skin and skincare ingredients basics and you will be educated consumer. I think that is very relevant. I really like Allana but I don't really trust her skincare recommendations. But she is very honest in stating that she is not educated in skincare it's just what works for her. Have a nice day!!!!

Jessica Sorge i tried their resversatrol/Ferulic serum and it gave me such horrible burns on my face. I do like their HA and nacinimide serums though.
@@bnb0510 Yes, it's very strong 3% of each while others put half or third of resveratrol or frolic. When your skin heals try to mix it with something. I consider retinol, antioxidants, hydration and soft the best things for good skin. Peptides are o.k. but unproven and quite expensive.
mario badescu saved my skin. i love their products! they are more mid-range in pricing, which is great. the enzyme cleansing gel is my absolute favorite cleanser, it saved my skin. it also feels very gentle and nice too. i also love the noni face oil because it gives this beautiful glow to the skin.

I think skincare is more important than makeup, although I love both. I have skincare of all different prices in my routine. My favorites include CeraVe, First Aid Beauty, Ole Henriksen, Origins, Bioderma, Vichy and The Ordinary . For lips, Bite Beauty and Eclair Lips, both Canadian made!

Hey Allana! I’m a new subscriber and I just love your channel! I have a couple of recommendations for you! The Antipodes Divine face oil is delicious! I’ve used it for years! Also the Antipodes Resurrect Clarifying Facial Toner mist is divine, I really notice when I don’t use it! My most recent purchase is the Kiehl’s Buttermask for Lips is so hydrating, one for the night time but it’s beautiful! x
