- Amala Ekpunobi is a podcaster and influencer for PragerU. Amala was once a student organizer for the left, which makes sense as she was raised in a far-left household. As stated in her bio, it was unanswered questions-and a search for the truth-that led her to a complete ideological transformation. Intelligently sharing her new conservative values online, Amala became a viral social media sensation. Now the host of PragerU’s show “Unapologetic with Amala,” she inspires millions of young people every day to discover the truth, defend their values, and lead better lives.

I can not believe she is only 22. Absolutely astounding! She is so wise beyond her years!
I’m a 26 year old women and Amala inspires me everyday, like you said Cam she is an absolute breath of fresh air in todays time! Wise beyond her years is so true
This girl is great! Cam Hanes coming with the heat with the new podcast!
Oh yeah Amala is absolutely brilliant, if you don't know her I recommend you listen to her.
"Your problems become your identity"
One of the most powerful statements in this podcast and just in general that I've heard in awhile now. I can relate to that statement for sure.
I am 28 and genuinely so impressed by how mature and articulate she is for a 22 yr old. At that age I was fresh out of college and just trying to figure out what the hell I was doing. If only I was as grounded as she is.
I've only recently found Cameron; but, I have listened to Amala for over a year. I would have never thought this conversation was going to happen; but, I am grateful that it did. Thank you Both! God Bless!
Excellent podcast!! Her intellect is amazing ❤❤
Thank you ..
Amala is amazing. Keep up the messaging! Stay strong!!
I have been DYING to hear this podcast!! Ever since I seen the preview amala put out on her channel!!! Love ya both!
I wish I had the courage to develop independent thought and to share my ideas as unapologetically as she does, at the age of 22. I was so aimless, without a sense of purpose, and sometimes spineless at that age. She’s clearly very smart, and we’re blessed to have voices of reason like hers. Thanks to the both of you for sharing this is conversation with us.
Absolutely LOVED this episode! Thank y'all for creating this space to have this conversation!
Amala is a fantastic young lady. I've been anxiously waiting for this episode. Thanks Cam!
I totally enjoyed this episode!
Amala I hope you do get out on a hunt at some point. I'm 34 and just started hunting with the help of my husband and its such a surreal human experience that I fell in love with. I got a black bear last spring and now my freezer is full of bear meat 🐻😎
Another honest and intentional conversation with valuable voices discussing important topics!! Love it!
What a blessing seeing these two lift run shoot!!!
Such a smart, well spoken and level headed young person. I was a total idiot at 22, kudos to her. Great job interviewing and choosing the right people to interview, Cam. Keep it coming.
I have great respect for both of u. I’m up late watching from Australia. Feeling sick but can’t sleep so thought I would check out ur conversation. Was def worth being up late. Cheers to u both 🔨 🔨🔨
I'm loving this new, healthy and hopeful community of real people communicating truths and strengths. Cam, Rogan, Brand, Stumpf, Jocko, Amala Etc.. Keep em coming, much love and respect👊🤙
Yay! So glad to see this!🎉
Amala is one of the most intelligent and sincere people on UA-cam. I have enjoyed hearing all of her views on a wide range of topics. What I love the most is her attitude of not wanting to argue, she wants to have a conversation. I would love to talk to her and get her opinion on lots of things. She is a special person and rare, especially her maturity at her age.
How cool! I watch her often!!! Such a cool, unexpected collaboration. Such a smart young woman.
I think this is going to be a good one!
This young lady is a rock star!!! Take a look at the world with an open heart and mind, you will be surprised on what you see!!! Keep Hammering
Morgan Freeman said it, Stop talking about racism. This was awesome, congrats to both of you. Keep it up ,Cam
Say what! Can't wait to check it out!

Another great conversation… Amala is an inspiring person
Such a wholesome moment at the end with the new bow! Thank you!
Great interview. We need more tough woman like Amala in our society!!!
Grandissima ospite!!! Grazie infinite per questa intervista!
Here cause I saw Amala in your thumbnail! Love her!
It's amazing she got out from under the leftist thumb that quickly, while being so active on that side. She's pretty awesome.
very interesting young lady, Glad to see we have hope in our young generation. she got me to follow her. great podcast!!!
Such an impressive young lady!!! Inspiring!!!
I had a similar experience, when I was a teenager I was one of the first kids openly bisexual, I literally would get jumped for my sexuality so it took a lot of guts to do that. So of course you could assume that I went on to fight for gay rights, after us attaining a certain amount of marriage rights, there was this weird wave of biphobic bigotry coming from within the LGBT, people I knew and stood by that were fully gay or lesbian we're now coming at me with hostility for just being bi. Saying that we're not really gay? That opened my eyes that a lot of people on the left, if not a majority of them only want power, and it turned me off from being a leftist. After a couple years of political homelessness I was swayed with the argument that a lot of conservatives make 'we don't hate you, even if it's against my religion only God can judge, we just want this stuff away from our schools and our workplaces because they have no place being there' which is something I resonated with a lot. I believe when you go to work your personal life should stay at the door, including sexuality, and since kids aren't mentally developed enough to even handle sexuality, they shouldn't be exposed to it.
I considered myself right-leaning for a while but this most recent anti-gay and I mean gay, I don't mean anti-lgbt, turned me off from being on the right. It went from 'live your life but protect the vulnerable and have a decent amount of separation and privacy' to 'I'm not going to accept you no matter what, this is why we should have never given you rights' and other rage filled outburst not targeting only the LGBT, but at the gay population I'm general.
I always have been somewhat of an independent thinker even when I'm in a 'group', it's what allowed me to have the self-reflection as early as I did when it came to being a leftist, but the insidious anti tolerant view of both the right and left reinforced that, it showed me that there's no point in being a leftist or rightist, football politics benefit no one but the people at the top that want to actually take those rights from you.
But instead of being politically homeless I've realized what I am, a free thinker that won't let my tribal inclinations rule me.
It gets lonely a little bit because most people want to choose a side and go to war in today's day and age, but it makes me feel better that I'm actually figuring out what I want, what I believe, and advocating for what I truly feel.
It's given me the confidence to stand up for myself and others no matter what or how many I'm facing, and I wouldn't trade that just to have a political 'home'.
I haven’t noticed anything particularly anti-gay on the right. What are you referring to specifically?
Stop it, I can only follow so many brilliant people!! And now Amala introduced me to this very interesting lad.
Holy cid he even gave her a bow at the end, that's so cool!!!
Love that hat Cam!
I'm with you saw VW because you looked for the features/attributes and you saw it because they were there.😊
Love the podcast Cam! #KeepHammering

What a delightful young lady!
I cannot wait to listen to her podcast! Thank you for exposing us to so many amazing outliers in the world 💕🙌🏻
Wow! Love this video so much. Just listening to this young woman made me realize that there is Hope. IMUA, Amala! 🙏🏽♥️🇺🇸
She's awesome.
So intelligent beyond her years, I'm a 51 year old father of two daughters. I hope my daughters turn out as well as she did
Great Podcast Episode. Didn’t know much about her, except some short videos, I will look into her content, bc she seems to be really interesting.
Thanks Cam for doing this interviews, you doing a great job and it really looks like your guest enjoying your company in a very natural way, you know what I mean…
And the quality of the production is outstanding.
And I love that you doing the Lift.Run.Shoot. with your guests, awesome.
Keep hammering 🔨🔨🔨
Nothing is more lucrative than being a black personality that speaks out against the left and anything that is beneficial to people of color. I give props to anyone for jumping in on this wave and cashing in. Keep telling white peoples what they want to hear while raking in the bag
My first time watching. I've seen Amala on Prager U once or twice. Totally enjoyable. Subscribed. Thank you
I wish I had the courage to develop independent thought and to share my ideas as unapologetically as she does. More-she’s clearly very smart, and we’re blessed to have voices of reason like hers. Thanks to the both of you for sharing this is conversation with us.
Your guests list has been money I feel like all these conversations have been awesome
Fantastic conversation, a true consideration of progressive thinking and being American. Hopefully Amala will inspire ppl in all community’s to take initiative, lead their friends in the responsibly of being a participant in community.
Great job
This was a very cool podcast!!!!!!!!
Good interview. I agree that everyone does not need college. There are different ways to start and expand in a specific career field.
crazy collab, s/o Cam
Wow! Just Wow!
What an awesome episode! We must be aware of what is truth and not truth. No one person is perfect but what’s most important from my experience is learning from failure, then succeeding from failure! Failure and mistakes will only define us if we let it. Success is earned and not given. Amala hope you are able to get you one hunt in and I recommend an elk archery hunt 🙌🏼👏🏼🔥!
Been watching Amala's shorts for a while now. It's really nice seeing a full version of her. She's got my vote whenever that day comes!
Get her with Rinella for hunting. Both great minds. I think that would be a great episode of MeatEater.
Amazing Young Woman.
Really good conversation. She has such a clear head on her shoulders.
She is right. They think they are doing the right thing but in truth so blinded on further left leaning side.
Amala is 🔥🔥🔥
Next up can we please have James Lawrence aka "The IronCowboy"
Great podcast! First time hearing Amala, very impressed. Andrew Huberman would be a great one too!
You don't need to believe that you can do everything. You just need to believe that you can learn anything.
We dig her
Holly shit!!! I watch both podcasts but both together….. fuck yeah!
Networking and Meeting people is a huge way to get into jobs you want...because if you know someone who is doing the thing you want to do, they'll be able to get your foot in the door much easier.
I was a hardcore liberal until I turned 16. Product of growing up in Berkeley.
This is why you don't teach your kids ideology. You teach them logic and reason.
As a child I didn't even like killing bugs lmao. I had to learn callousness. It did not come easy for me. I grew up on the farm. Did my own butchering and hunting aplenty. Definitely something that didn't come naturally though.
We need to get Brett Cooper on this podcast as well
Amala!
Out of curiosity, how do you feel about Gabbard's stance on foreign policy? She opposes regime change wars, but she's very supportive of drone strikes in the Middle East and has supported foreign dictators and such. She also cited Democrats being warhawks as her reason for leaving the Democratic Party, but she didn't seem to acknowledge that the GOP is way more hawkish
We are addicted to our pain body 💔
Next person good sir is Bret Cooper.
I don't understand how her mother can still hold her position on suppresion when her own daughter was able to become such an influence, as a black woman. Amala proves if people want to break free they can.
She said herself that she believed it even when her own life had such privilege. It’s not about proof, it’s a mind virus that affects how they think. Unless something breaks open their hearts, they just literally cannot see the truth.
She probably dismisses it as survivorship bias and/or assigns it to the fact that Amala is half-white in the end, and thus apparently has more "privilege". People believe what they want to believe in the end.
Hey Cameton you are killin it with your podcast! Love the variety of content most importantly love the raw and genuine approach. Hope to see Derek Wolfe as a guest on hour podcadt soon ?
I love it. Un indoctrinated.
Cam can you bring on Marc Cohodes to educate your audience on the recent 4 banks that collapsed and were bailed out? He can help you understand how rigged the game is.
Careful what you hate it will end up in your family.
Politicians who are not trying to increase the power of the government- Rand Paul and a few others, that's it. Liberty Republicans
They seem to have a friendly figurehead. Agendas are a funny thing.
"Do they all go to dinner and look at those guys (the people)." Yeah is it staged like WWE?
Brett Cooper is prob Gen Z
Get Bret Conner
Cooper
Ok, let's see
Cameron, ordered a book from you at your website in January. Still have not received it. Have attempted to reach out to you and the marketing email with no results on multiple occasions. My money was good for immediate payment to your account. Not sure what’s up.
Has he reached out to you since this comment? You don’t have to reply. I’m just trying to boost your comment so he sees it. I hate it when things like that happen. You can always do a chargeback if he doesn’t help you out.
@@yetanotherjessica4662 thank you. Not sure what happened. Still waiting. Thanks for the tip and the assist.
😭
