man .. the internet is such a blessing thing that we don't recognize the value of it, you can listen hours to people you like, have Intellectual consensus, learn from them in just a click on a screen. Two centuries ago we have to travel miles and miles to just listen hear, meet, talk to someone. Now it's much easier. I am 18 and I'm learning a lot. Thank you jocko.

Sean was my brother from Texas to Germany. From Corsicana to Heathrow. Sean is one of those few humans that make USA America. He is a living legend. My name is Matthew Lynch and I will never be more proud of a Good American than I am of Sean. What a badass American!

This channel is frigging awesome. Go AMERICA!! Hope more people get on board with this USA mindset. Thank you for serving US, protecting freedom. I've been drinking a shake with Jocko Greens and Molk for breakfast since starting to work out again. Feel great. Lost weight. It's the same $$ as the CRAP I was eating before.
Excellent interview! Wow he’s squared away and such a great leader! He is also such a great speaker and storyteller. Wish we had more like him in our government instead of the clowns we have now. Love how he admits when he screwed up instead of blaming anyone else and then fixed it. I’m going to order some beef 🥩 from him this week and try it out.
I’ve had a tough time sleeping since coming home especially falling asleep. It’s crazy but listening to Jocko’s voice every night when I lay down always calms and relaxes me to fall asleep. Every night I fall asleep watching Jocko and I wake up to watching him.
My current Congressman Eli Crane (AZ-02) was SEAL Team 3. His leadership is beyond any civilian’s understanding of how you all get things done. This interview gives a peek into that mindset. Impressive. crane.house.gov/

The "over the beach" op in Somalia described around the 2 hr mark sounds a lot like the op DJ Shipley described on the podcast with Shawn Ryan. Anyone know if it's the same op?
I searched out before in 5 hours interviews. Shawn Ryan, Jocko, others. I get very angry with myself when I find myself scrolling through one minute short videos. Terrible habit. These interviews/rap sessions that are longer than a Hollyweird movie....that's what I love the best.
I’m a 26 year old Combat Medic Army vet from Chicago with hopes of getting out of this awful city and move to be where I’ve always belonged in Texas. Hearing him talk about doing a summer as a ranch hand really makes me want to do it. I’m a city kid, no doubt about it, but I’m a blue collar city kid. I’m not afraid of hard work and when I make my dream move to Texas I’d love to earn my right to be a Texan by doing something like this. Anybody with experience have any guidance for me?
@@Chefmaczero I didn't hear him say "an hour outside", I DID hear him say, "literally in the middle of nowhere". Doesn't matter, can still feel like it's way out there, even if it's not, especially when you're young.
I'm listening to how one dad did well and another did not. I'm in between business and job myself, so I got what it's likie when a business doesn't work. If you say your dad bomworbed out in business, should thne ressdt of us say the same? Or could we acknowledge our mistakes, clean up, and do something new? Also, what values did you get from your dad's mistakes? I may not have heard all of this podcast. My attention doesn't hold for such a long time
I'm late to the game and aware that this might not be the place for questions, but I am extremely curious about whether or not SERE training works and if it is something that one can get better at. My only experience of it is through movies, etc. and it is invariably portrayed in a way that simply looks like masochistic chaos.
With that talk of nuclear war, you just reminded me that I live too close to El Paso, Fort Bliss, White Sands, and also an AFB, as I recall. I want to move back to Silver City.
