Truett, you inspired me! I’m 60 years old retired welder/ fabricator for almost 45 years, a father of 2 boys and a 1 year old granddaughter next week.
I was what I thought was a tough person working in a pretty tough world of heavy construction. I was electrocuted 5 years ago at work. I thought I was tough until I was hit by the most powerful invisible punch in the Chest I have ever felt in my life. 277/480volts turned me into a frightened guy in the world. I’ve spent the past 5 years in my room watching UA-cam and wondering why Ive changed from a person who has never been afraid of anything or anyone & in less than a second I am afraid to even go outside!
I’m physically and mentally destroyed. I’ve listened to you and your pops who is also a man I inspire to become more like. My wife and I are planning to move to an Oregon coastal town ASAP. I want you to know that you & your family affected me, this podcast infected me with hope for myself that I can become a better version of myself from today forward. God, wife, boys/ wife’s and grandchildren deserve me at my best! I’m a disappointment and disgrace to myself. My fist goal is to walk with an 80lb. sandbag on my neck with you and Cameron up to that monument & stand on top of that piece of concrete with a selfie with the 2 of you on my 63rd birthday, and before 65 run it!
Seriously gentlemen, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
“Nobody cares work harder” is my new motto. Hope you don’t mind Mr. Haynes.

God bless you! Keep up the motivation and courage. I hear you. I'm a 62 year old welder/fabricator and pipeline construction worker also retired. Shoulders are gone, repaired, gone again, guts are gone, one limitation after another but Cameron gives off a great light. I have big goals. One day at a time. I have a good buddy in Oregon who has parkinsons disease. He's one tough guy. A real hero and afraid of nothing. I know you have what it takes. We've hoed some of the same row.

This may be the best Podcast yet. Very inspired by this one. I can relate very much to Cam's statement about outrunning his coverage. Never felt like I deserved, was smart enough or belonged where I was within my career. Like "when will they catch on"....I like it when you get real on the Podcast, vulnerable and open up. Truett, I was very happy to hear Jesus come out of your mouth. Cam I would like to hear more about your faith. I do believe it is there and it seems you want to open up about it but hold back. I am sure there is a story there....don't hold back. Thank you for this one.

Reminded me of when my son was in HS and the cross country coach had seen he was a good athlete with the body of a someone who could be a good runner, talked him into running his sophomore year, and by the end of the season he was the best runner on the team, but had no desire to pursue it any further. He ran a half marathon with me last year with no training (beat me) and in a couple days we're running a 5k together.

I’m glad Truett is seeing more of the reasons Cam raised them as he gets older and understands more a little of the perspective. You may not have wanted him around as much and I’m sure Cam was super intense. But there is a lot of guys, like me that didn’t have a Dad at all and probably would’ve not minded so much being hard on from a Dad. I’m sure it wasn’t enjoyable at the time but you just broke the world record for pull ups bro. I’m sure your Dads influence had at least some to do with that. Not taking any credit from you, you obviously did the training, eating, etc…But would you have had the desire had you not been raised by Cam? Anyway Congrats to both you Savages

Also people saying that you're on steroids have absolutely no idea what steroids do to your body features. With the effects steroids have on the shoulders, traps, neck, it would be really obvious if Truett was juicing. If anything this inadvertently proves he isn't juicing or he would look much different and vascular.
