I have felt a bit silly because I have wanted to try this service but could not find any intro or instructions for use. Your're a good presenter. As a passenger, how do I contact Lyft or the driver if I'm at a busy pickup point and can't find the driver ?
After u logout of the app after u get drop of and the driver has been paid does it stop like automatically like there won't be another ride until u log back in to request a ride to go somewhere else i heard about these but never use them before
Can't figure out how to change the pick up time after I've entered my pickup destination and drop off destination
I never see a star rating at the end of my ride so I never rate them.... where do u go to rate them?

Okay. I appreciate the tutorial. I'm a little surprised to learn that a 4-star rating is bad. Normally, I greatly appreciate the ride and think that a 4-star is good. Thanks for the correction. I thought I was doing good however I was not doing good.
Lyft is not very clear on how the rating effect the drivers. So, don't be too hard on yourself : )

Wow why would lyft drop u at 4.6 that's like getting kicked out of school for getting an A instead of an A+! And yes thank you for this. I see no cars in my town on the map? Wondering what will happen if I request a ride? How long do I have to cancel a ride with out being charged?
Tuesday lyft was giving away free rides up to $15, but I had never used lyft before. Someone gave me a gift card but I didn't want to use the gift card and didn't know how to set the app to only use the Free Ride. Also I didn't see any place or number on the app or their website to even call anyone to ask any questions.

Tried using app for the first time. Lyft sent me text giving me a Lyft Code-- is that the promo code or what is it? Also, they sent me a verification code--what is that?

what if you want to cancel.at the last minute after they arrived.
Then you will most likely be charges the $5 cancellation fee. Because the driver has already spent time and money getting to your location.

No you shouldn't have to stay connected after you've ordered your ride.
Do i have the option to pay for freinds? For example they forgot their wallet, can i pay for them?
Promise • before you're able to order a Lyft you have to enter a credit card or debit card number for billing. They don't take cash so whoever places the order for the Lyft is going to be billed for the entire ride.
So I can pay with either credit or debit?
Yes, either one.
Does anyone know how to delete your credit card off lyft?
Yes, just open the Lyft app on your phone. Tap your picture on the upper right-hand corner. Go into payment. Tap the credit card you want to delete. It will open into a window that has an option to delete the card.
I had the Lyft app on my phone and it COMPLETELY died. When I try to get the app on my new phone it says it is already installed. There is no ICON or LYFT in my applications list on my new phone. I really need the app today on my new phone (traveling). Can anyone help me? BTW - I have an android phone.
You'll have to find a way to completely remove the app from your phone and re-install the Lyft app. Any way to get to your service provider and have them help? Wish I could be more helpful.
What if you want to go and pick someone else up after u get picked up?
I would suggest using the add an additional stop option in your Lyft app. Some drivers will be fine with going to pick up a friend, but others may be uncomfortable (it can really mess with the driver's GPS programming).Here's a video to show you how:

I wasted my pinkballoons promo code because this video didn't mention its 2 week expiration until a few minutes after it advised entering the code. The video should be edited so it warns about the expiration BEFORE it says to type in the code.
I'm sorry that happened. I've gone into the video and noted in the caption at the beginning that you must use Lyft within 2 weeks of downloading the app to get the ride credits. Thank you for pointing this out to me and hopefully it won't happen to anyone else.

Hey! You didn’t show us how to manually enter destination!
Sorry! If you open the Lyft app and after you have set up your pickup location, there should be a white bar under your pickup location that says "Add destination". Tap that and either manually type in the destination or use the "choose on map" option and move the pin to your desired destination. Hope that was more clear!
I can see your address at 2:55 just so you know. You might want to edit this part a little bit.
That address at 4717 .... is far away from downtown Portland, about 8 miles south. She is at the bulls-eye mark in the area somewhat near, to the south of Lan Su Chinese Garden in downtown. I played around with Google maps and the address you reference seen on the video at 2:55. The address below it at 10455 .... is in Vancouver, WA, as you can see on the display.
Didn't tell how to split a ride. That's the whole reason I watched the video..
