thank you very much for this tutorial. the only problem i'm having is that there is no cancellation button on my app when they are adding to the queue. i've looked all over, and i don't see any way to stop them from adding to the queue. Oh! I found it. Thank you!
I been driving for both Lyft & Uber in a major college town where most students are international therefore using Uber. I immediately sell them to downloading Lyft. I have found in my 8 years of driving that Lyft clientele are far better in many ways. Most Lyft riders have found the same having experienced both drivers. I’d like to know if there is a way to KEEP the auto added ride. It often disappears on me when I’m still delivering my current rider.
I have a question about adding to queue while I am still with other PAX.
How can I check the destination cause it doesn’t show.

I took Uber the other day paid $18 for a short trip. I ask my driver how much he got paid, he showed me he only got $6.45 that’s more than 60% they deducted from his fare.
Actually he got paid properly, YOU, unfortunately are the one who paid too much. Short trips WERE $10-12 !
Yep they take most of the funds. I did a long ride all the way to the beach and got paid $12 but the lady paid $39 it is not balanced at all .
I did LYFT for a while and I discovered something. LYFT suppose to only get 30% but many times I've seen them get more than that!

I allow for accepting rides automatically. Nearly every time the ride has disappeared or changed if my current ride takes a few more minutes. Why?????
tier status affects your rewards, including ride filters you are allowed per day, plus discounts on rideshare related services. you must be aware of your driving score: acceptance rate; cancelation rate; star rating; safety flags; service flags; points earned per whole dollar from fare and tips during designated days and times.
I use Google maps and when I sych in car I have 2 voices talking I tried Mute but it didn't work any suggestions??
How come every time I hit the X because I don’t want the job I want of getting a cancellation notice from Lyft saying that we seen you canceled some jobs. I’m not talking about when the riders are in the car I’m talking about before I even except them just hitting the decks every time I do that I get a notification about canceling jobs and that you should go off-line. If I just let it go and don’t do anything. I never get those notifications can you explain
I am new…my second day…I am heading to pick up someone and I don’t get those options when I swipe up….it doesn’t say anything about the trip I just accepted or anything! It just says cancel or something else I forget

When driving long distances, can I spot people who are walking the same road as me except for my house
When picking up a passenger, the app has some nasty tricks! I had one yesterday, $38 to the airport (39 miles), pickup at a freight yard, and the pickup point was set as the shipping office in the yard. There were two semis being offloaded and one being loaded, as well as multiple fork lifts flying in all directions, there is no way I could pull in there so I parked at the main office, 300 feet away and hit "Arrive".
Up pops a series of options, are you sure, yadda yadda, so I hit "just do it" or whatever. Come to find out that that cancels out any wait time or cancellation fee since I wasn't actually at the designated pickup point! What I should have done is scrolled down in the options to find the "I can't get to the destination safely". I'll know for next time since the rider never showed up and I had to cancel! :(
Background: over 650 rides on Uber, but they messed up my license info so I'm stuck waiting to get re-approved. Signed up with Lyft and this was my 2nd trip with them so I'm not familiar with the app!

What makes a ride price ‘acceptable’? I usually accept airport rides that look like .80-.90 per mile. If the time is long, then I either decline or take a different route
This a thousand times. I see these videos and they say they don't like how its priced but never explain why
if a ride is canceled in less than 2 minutes, you won't get a cancellation fee. in certain circumstances, there might be a ride that for whatever reason you have to mark As canceled or no show and there might not be a cancellation fee for that ride; not sure why Lyft does that and it's very frustrating.

Where can you see how many days you were online in a year? My wife has to drive 20 miles into town before she goes online, so we need to add that 20 miles per day to Schedule C total mileage. Would like to be precise and multiply by the number of days she was actually online. I can't believe that the app doesn't show that somewhere...

Hi, that was a great tutorial. Thank you so much. I am new to Lyft. I’m going to to drive for Uber. But Uber has not giving me any requests and my friend who lives the next street over gets all kinds of requests. I called support asked for help they’ve been working on it since last week. But nothing but I do get Uber eats requests go figure can anybody explain for me please.

It's only after the 2 week time frame is up and if you make less than the minimum earnings floor will they adjust your pay. Usually rideshare doesn't get prop 22 money since most drivers will make over that threshold but food delivery usually does get it.
shorter rides are the best when you're trying to meet a quota for a bonus.

If a rider changes the destination during a trip, the app will notify you. You can turn on subtitles by clicking the cc button on the video.
La app automáticamente hace el ajuste cuando el pasajero cambia el destino o añade paradas durante el viaje. A veces aumenta el pago o a veces disminuye. La verdad es que te recomiendo siempre confirmar con el pasajero a donde quiere ir antes de empezar el viaje, si por alguna razón no te conviene NO LO CANCELES, vas a perder la llegada y NINGUNA cancelación se paga (excepto las de no-show) puedes darle al botón de dropp off (dejar) en cualquier momento si no quieres continuar el viaje, ojalá puedas dejarlos a todos en el destino pero esto es un comodin que los mismos agentes de soporte sugieren usar para evitar cancelar. Lyft ? You make more money by going straight to used car dealer and sell your car. You save your life, gas, car maintenance, accident, insurance… and they paid you 40%? of customer paid.
When is “Lyft” going to wake up and realize they need to pay us drivers better? Before everyone says their is no way I will drive for Lyft or Uber. And the board room stops throwing around paper airplanes and start listening to their sup contractors and way only 3 hours radius filter when it “used” to be unlimited- 12 hours?

The bonus is a joke uber and lyft are a joke and explaining how both apps works is a joke , they show you the bonus to make you go on line and as soon as you go online the bonus goes down from like $8 to $2 and to get the $2 you have to drive 2 miles just to pickup the passenger, so if you are thinking about driving for uber or lyft trust me it's a waste of time, forget about it.
It’s hilarious for some people are people really brain dead why would anybody be doing Lyft anyway they don’t pay any money. He will have all quit in my market. They’re praying on people they don’t have any money. I don’t even have a third grade education and I can figure all this out in five minutes but keep it coming. I’m just saying.

Don't be deceived. It's all false. Hello, I'm a Lyft driver. I'll tell you. Lyft takes 70% and gives 30% to the driver. And when the car gets stuck in traffic, it charges passengers for traffic and gets all the money, but only about 0.45 cents to the driver. And when it arrives, it takes 5 minutes, which also charges passengers a lot of money and gives drivers 0.07 cents. Lyft and Uber need a thorough investigation
