Out of curiosity could you hook up a drive pressure gauge? Most of these powerstrokes running a compound kit over the S3xx aren't being wastegated. Which is just odd and against what everyone else does across other motors.
So the way I understand it you all are only going to offer the compounds if you run the emperor kit. Are yall going to consider doing it for the ones still running the vgt style?
We wouldn’t say never, but you run into too many other things using a vgt. Needing to gate it, over spooling with a bigger atmospheric charger, becomes too unreliable, ect. Eliminating the increased amount of possible problems with a vgt and doing non vgt is just the way to go in our opinion.
I love that idea and am excited to see what all your parts will do on a street truck. Unfortunately it will make me want to buy more of your parts. 😁
