  • This is for anyone looking to find out where the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), Module and Antenna’s are located for a 2005-2016 Boxster, 911, Cayman, GT2 & GT3. Let me know if this helped you out and if you enjoyed this video. I have a bunch of other car videos to upload so if this get enough feedback I’ll be happy to share more. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing. I'm troubleshooting an issue with mine. Passenger side works but both driver side are not reporting. New sensors on all 4 wheels installed today. This video will help me, so thank you!

Thanks very much. Super helpful. I'm having an issue where I don't have the display on the info gauge. Folks on Rennlist suggested the control unit might be unplugged. I'll check that out now that I know how to get to it. Really appreciate the help.

Just had 4 new sensors installed on a 2007 911 and new tires and it goes from learning to flat. Very annoying. It does show the passenger side pressure before the flat warning comes on. Any ideas?

This wont work for mine. My system reads TPM Inactive and will not work all new oem sensors even the Porsche service can't figure it out!

You do have to get all new antennas and then a new module and tire pressure sensors and then take it back to the dealer and have them program everything with their computer system. That’s what was done to everything. And I highly recommend not going cheap. If you can afford to spend at least $800, you’re better off going to a tuner and having him clear that light off for good.

After replacing everything did that fix it? I replaced all 4 sensors and all are transmitting but right front doesn’t show any pressure. I replaced the antenna for that wheel but nothing. Tomorrow I’m replacing the main control module. Wish me luck.

@@chrisgaylor4867 First I had all new OEM TPMS sensors installed. Still right front not working. Porsche checked and said same but would need much more time to diagnose. I bought transceiver (mounted behind plastic fender liner) on EBay, no help. Next bought main TPMS control module on EBay (mounted under plastic liner under hood close to fluid fill) but no help. Next, took it to a European car specialist who was recommended who said if I could leave it for whatever time it takes they would determine the problem ( about $300 max charge) and advise what repair cost would be. That worked. They called and said they found that it appeared that a rodent had chewed the three wires that go from my right front TPMS transceiver to my main TPMS control module. They repaired it for a total cost of around $375. Hope this helps.

@@chrisgaylor4867 If your problem is the one wheel like mine was, I suggest you open up the fender liner and under hood cover (one you have to remove about 8 screws) to access transceiver and main control module . Un plug the three wires at each end and with an ohm meter, check the continuity end to end. If it checks ok, then check from one to another to see if they are touching each other where the insulation may have been eaten away by rodents. Good luck.
