- This video shows you how to perform a TPM Delete so the warning/error message on your instrument cluster won't go off. I did this because I don't have TPM Sensors (TPMS) in my wheels. The "TPC inactive System learning" is now removed!

Just an FYI that our fuel tanks are approximately 64 liters based on 16.9 gallons that they are listed as holding. So even though they list a 54 liter fuel tank as RoW (Rest of World) neither seems to be correct for the U.S. I left mine blank for fuel tank when I turned my TPM back on. It was off when I got the car. I also turned my Chrono back on, which was also turned off. Why, I don't know but I finally have a fully functioning Sport PASM button. I struggled with getting my PWIS to work since December, when I got it, but took another stab at it today and was finally successful. Thanks again for your great videos!

Another great video Aaron.. with regards to the equipment selection on the PIWIS, see if the original owner kept a copy of the spec sheet that came with the car when new. It should list the options you have. If not, there are websites where you can enter your VIN and it will give you a list of what options were installed at the Factory.. I did this for my Boxster and found that i have the Bi-Directional Xenon headlights which turn when cornering so they are focused into the turn ahead of you. Its actually pretty cool to see it. :)

HI just watched your video, trying to learn more about my 987. I saw you go though screens in your PIWIS and saw the things I need, and can be done with the system your using. What model/version/ and where do I get it -PIWIS? Mostly my car was briefly in Canada and was coded to Canada, original CA car and now back, making it Canadian removed the option to turn off day time driving lights. Your video showed the options to switch it back to USA code (USA,USA,USA-that was awesome). Also would like to get that PDK steering wheel with paddle shifters, saw that code too, in the future as mine has the triptronic thumb switches... Thanks, I have subscribed and love learning from your vids.

Thanks for the video. Do you know a location of side markers coding by chance? I've put LED side markers and now have errors on dash.

@HelpMeDIY Thanks for the answer. I've tried resistors, but no luck. Now I have a bigger problem I was following this video today and do manage to turn tpm off but after then I get error "system fault airbag" I've tried to switch it back but then I have 2 errors tpm and airbag. Can you please assist?
no wonder so many service centers, indy's and otherwise, that were willing to delete the TPMS paraphernalia failed. it looks as though in order to delete the tpms instrument cluster software, the PIWIS deletes it all and then re-adds it. necessitating knowing what the car had on it originally and programming it back in. i suspect those that failed, failed in this respect.
Just curious what would have happened if you left the module connected after deleting it in software?
+Jeremy Pringle good question… I assume something in the car would be confused because it would be getting signals from somewhere it wasn’t expecting? But if anyone has details please share.
