Really hard to say. No less safe than an aftermarket steering wheel

Let me tell you from experience it’s really hard to get the airbag cover off. The plastic is super tough so the way that guy did it was probably due to him being frustrated and didn’t care😂 it takes patience and probs 30 mins of working those clips until it just pops off. But definitely worth it!

Great channel man! I just bought a 2015 Q50 and it doesn’t have memory seats. Are there any aftermarket driver seats with memory built into the seat?

When I was installing my steering wheel, I lost one of those caps to take off the airbag, lol
I also had trouble taking it off, but like you said, get it loose a tiny bit on one side and work it out, and you’ll be good.
On of my caps flew off too, but luckily I found it by chance!
@@SpeedCultureStudios I just bought a steering wheel horn pad cover for my G37 , is it the same procedure? I just don’t want a airbag to blow up in my face.
@@Venom-ct8yy I’m sure it’s a very similar procedure. It shouldn’t blow - it won’t be connected to power, but always mess with this type of stuff at your own risk!
