No they are just simple wire connectors. Crimp on style
@@SpeedCultureStudios Ohhh ok. Do you know if I can use heat shrink to connect those. That’s all I got
^ 🥺
@@Awsometiger1011 heat shrink could be used over the connectors dont just simply use heat shrrink
@@angelsawg10 what do u mean
I’m seeing that the q50 and the q70 are slights different. Question I have is did you have to modify the light in any way for fitment issues?
There are differences between the 50 and 70. No modification necessary.
@@SpeedCultureStudios I just tried to install them on my car and the fitment was horrible. I had to grind down the back of the light and it still did not fit right. Trying to get my money back as we speak.
@@SpeedCultureStudios by the way these are not the lights off Amazon. Just to be clear these are off eBay which I’m sure they are all the same. Lol
@@genarorenteria3627 what do you mean “these.” Are you saying you have some from eBay? Mine were from amazon, but yes they probably come from the same place.
@@SpeedCultureStudios yea the ones I have are off eBay. They look exactly the same as yours. Same color wire and all. But fitment was not good.
Thanks for the video. I might have missed it but do the puddle lights work with the way you wired it?
No, I did not connect the white white which is the puddle lights. The car already has a puddle light under the handle and the Infiniti logos under the doors so another light wasn’t necessary to me.
You can tie it in with the DRLs if you want them on all the time, you can tap them into the same wire that powers the puddle lights for the handle.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Awesome. Do you know if that wire is going to be in that same harness you tapped in to? Or am I going to have to look for another power source?
GTiRSmiley my feeling is that it has to be in there, but most I’ve seen tap into a different location behind that plate. I’d have to find a diagram or just get the test light out and check for power only when the unlock button is hit or something.
Speed Culture Studios so could I leave the blue and white wire tapped into how you have it and have the white wire (the puddle light) to the brown wire behind the metal plate on the door?
Qfifty 2014 yes-I cant remember the color of the wire you need to tap into behind the plate, but yes, that should get you the puddle light that comes on when you approach/unlock the car
What is the white wire for?
Puddle lights. Didn’t want them
THOSE ARE AWESOME!!!!!
Thanks!
Are there any out there that have auto dim feature? I cant seem to find any for G37 or Q50
I'm not familiar with an auto dim feature.
hey man i installed my sequintials and they were working just fine for 15 min then stopped working n suddenly my window won’t roll automatically up it will roll in segments , going crazy right now hoping for a fast reply 😂
Same thing just happened to me😭 lmk if you figured it out
@@qfiddy6122same here lmao
Thanks for the video bro. Will be installing mine tomorrow Saturday June 12th 2021
How’d it go?
I purchased these & really excited on installing them, any tips
@@russelwestbrook2922 it went really well bro. Thanks again
I just bought these and needed an install video
Nice!
Thanks for the video bro!! Just install mine!!
You can handle it!!
Ordered the same mirror caps a few days ago. Looks good bro!
You’ll be happy!
How can I order these mirror caps? Link please and thank you.
Chris Clark have to go to @jaliscos_carbonfiber on IG
Whats the wheel set-up?
😊
Did u get ur turn signal sequentially from jrlights on ig ?
No. Linked in the description. Amazon
Why did mine come with an extra green and black cable?
There are wires to connect to the turn signals then wires to connect to the puddle lights
Knocking mine off tomm, thank you for this🙌🏾
Good deal! Take your time!
fishing these wires through has not been easy lol
Yeah it’s not super easy
Has anyone had any issues with these turn signals? Or the way it’s wired? I installed them identical to how he did it in the video and I noticed my battery dies after sitting for a week. Cars only 3 years old with original battery still in the car. Got the battery tested and was at 54% health and starter and alternator is fine too.
You have a draw somewhere
@@SpeedCultureStudios how can that be corrected though? I did it the same way you did
Would those mirrors work on a 2011 G37S ?
No
@@SpeedCultureStudios Thx Bro
Random question I followed the steps but when I put them in my sequential stop working but drl worked....any ideas why ?
Connection for the sequentials is loose.
Speed Culture Studios I thought that I check that but it was fine one thing tho my battery is low where it won’t start car allows me to put it in accessory mode
Qfifty 2014 Sounds like it’s time for a new battery. Just had to replace mine a couple months ago too
Speed Culture Studios so you think it’s cuz of battery than? And thanks for the replies man
Qfifty 2014 I can’t say for certain but sounds like battery
Hey does anyone know about the legality of having these DRL's on all the time at night? Especially in the streets of CA? Could they be considered side markers?
It's a good question considering how strict some of California's rules are.
Sick bro look nice 🔥🔥🔥 I need some for mines ASAP! Very helpful bro👍🏼🙏🏻💪🏼
Thanks for watching man!
The smoked ones woulda looked better on the all black car. Still dope tho.
I had contemplated it, but that’s be too much black. I like the white contrast in the leds
Yeah it’s nice. But super bright at night.
sean jackson haven’t driven yet with them at night. I’ll have to check it out and see. I can always change them!
Ok cool
How do you get puddle light
I have the same wires as you did the exactly same thing left white wire out an I have no puddle
I did not wire in the puddle lights. I didn't want them. I don't recall which wire in the harness is for the puddle lights, but you can trace it and connect it if you'd like it.
@@SpeedCultureStudios oh lol 😂
Nice bro 👌 buying those for sure
You’ll like them!
So that white wire was your puddle light? If it is where do I connect that wire to have it with my DRL?
If you want it all the time, you can just connect it to the wire with the drl wire
@@SpeedCultureStudios Ok what if ai just want it as a welcome light. Do you know where I connect that?
@@Awsometiger1011 you have to remove the small plate on the inner portion of the door to access the wire that operates the small lights under the door handles. I can't remember what the color of the wire is off the top of my head.
@@SpeedCultureStudios ohhh ok thank you!! So does the puddle light just lighten up the floor ? What does it do really
@@Awsometiger1011 yes shines directly down. I feel like it is a bit redundant because the door handle already has a flood light.
I added the turn signals about 4 months ago. There is a okay DIY video for the turn siangels but its crap when you wanna hook up the puddle light. I'm still trying to figure it out lol. My next step is the bumper turn signal to make the DRL's and sequential like the ones on my mirror.
My video got so long I was going to have a section on where to connect the puddle light.
You should. I'm getting tired of trying to figure it out. It's slowly getting on my nerves. Makes it like like a unfinished project or half assed project.
Speed Culture Studios definitely second his comment, installin mine tomorrow an i wanna hook up the puddle light also
B Rand you can tie the puddle light wire to the drl wire and it will always be on.
Speed Culture Studios gotcha so the puddle light an the white led strip on the signal will be on all the time right?
Look beautiful, sadly i was working when you had your live hope I didn’t miss any giveaway opportunities
You did sorry! But there will be more! Very successful Live, so we are going to make it a regular thing!
definitely gonna be one of my next buys!

Thanks!
How’s the fitment on the mirror caps? Been thinking about ordering the carbon fiber m style caps from him
They fit great!
Can't go wrong with a bmw type look lol.
Lol right. Especially m style!
ty for this! almost paid a man to do this lmaoooo
Glad it was helpful!
Wonder how many fires that have been started due to this video! Lol
0 and I’m not sure why any fires would be started.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 dope asf
Thanks for checking it out!
so i did it like this and now my windows don't work😅
I think you messed up
@@SpeedCultureStudios the light only works when i do the blue and black instead of red and black. when i try connecting the blue back down to the drl wire it doesn't even turn anymore. do you think it's the cable on the door? maybe a fuse?
@@fatespamsl282 not all wires are the same. That’s why I say always test them out and use a test light to find power supply
can you please link to your rims, i want to buy the same ones
I don’t have a link to them specifically because they are basically made to order if they don’t have a set on hand but you can reach out to Motorsports LA and let them know I sent you!
First son...
Always! 👍
Where did you get the mirro lights from ?
