So to kind of prep the transformational covers for Friday I figured a hopefully entertaining way to lead into that would be to start up just covers again. Band would change every month. i.e. Maiden Monday, Motley Monday, Megadeth Monday, Testament Tuesday etc. You're the best

Really ?.. I can't make a choice beyond top 20 songs or so..
the guitar work and bass work on wasted year is easily top 5, specially adrians lead, but it could be much better if vocals and drums was better imo, both bruce and nicko can do better than what they did with wasted years, specially nicko on any album after 1995, bruce had a much more interesting vocals on like rime of the ancient mariner and powerslave

The final notes of the solo while bruce starts to sing again are so beatiful

Playing mostly the original back to back with a shreddy version shows how much better a well thought out solo is than a "more difficult" one. Adrian is the most underrated guitarist of all time.

Have fun at Maiden. Got to see them in 2000 I wanna say, @ Red Rocks. Bruce tore threw that place up and down those stairs while singing and did not miss a beat or note. Then he probably flew the band to the next gig...I wish I had that energy then and now lol.

I've never seen a cover where the original guitar is simply removed and the cover one is added,while the vocals and the drums are still the same. Amazing work m8 !
It's not exactly the same. The lead vocal is clearly Bruce, but there's no backing vocal, and the drums and bass line are definitely not the same as the studio recording. If I had to guess, I'd say he used tracks from Rock Band.
