The fact she's not dead or in jail is a real testament to her strength of character. Now I wish she hadn't had to be that strong but she's still clearly a determined woman.

Drew is the definition of a cycle breaker. The fact she was raised by such a neglectful, self absorbed mother and she grew up to be such a loving, sympathetic, generous person is inspirational honestly. Rather than let herself become bitter she enjoys the little things and spreads happiness (without sweeping her hardships under the rug). This is why she’s one of my favorite celebrities. I wish more people in Hollywood and the world in general were like her

I know they’re scared to say anything because the public generally responds extremely unfairly to victims and it’s so heartbreaking. We live in a society where we know certain people are known abusers with proof and even convictions but they still get praised, justified, and job opportunities while their victims are relentlessly blamed, called liars and even threatened for ever coming forward. And, she's REALLY smart. I was dumbfounded at how smart she was. I was in the SD classes so I only got to see her for a couple of hours a day. She was in my grade when she was supposed to be two years behind me. I mean, I couldn't stop staring. She's gorgeous. Then, my Mom was like, "Hey, wanna meet Drew Barrymore?" When I went to see her, she lost it on me. It was that girl from school! Holy Crap! It was Drew Barrymore. My Mom grabbed me and we were out of there. I completely forgive her. I feel like Keanu is and has always been a nice guy and is one of the few actors in Hollywood that's not a part of Hollyweird if you know what I'm saying, but I see what you mean. He could have alerted someone about what was happening. But would it have helped anything? I feel like CPS wouldn't have done anything dealing with Drew bc even though she was a child, she was Hollywood. That whole world is different from reality and we all know there's some messed up things that go on. Especially with Hollywood parents. They can raise or treat their child a certain way that us normal folk would see as weird.
Think about a 24 or 25 year old Elvis dating a 14 year old Priscilla. No, her parents weren't "Hollywood", but Elvis was and it was as if everyone turned a blind eye to that situation. Some parents of child stars should definitely have their sanity questioned for letting their child be involved in certain situations. Like the singer Usher. For the "sake of his career" and for a "learning experience", his mom let him go and live with P. Diddy, at the age of 14 under the guise of him learning about the business. It was called "Puffy Flavor Camp", but it was a perverted man gr**ming children.

This video clearly speaks to the fact that Drew is an ABSOLUTE WARRIOR!!!!! She has been through so much, fought for herself, for her life, for her sobriety, her career and now, for her daughters! 😍 In my eyes and opinion, she is and always will be an amazing woman, an amazing mother, an absolutely amazing actress, one hell of a survivor, and most of all she is an amazing human being❣️ I truly hope and pray that many many parents, young ladies, and just people in general can all learn a lot of amazing lessons, at the very least, from Drew and her life about what it's like to never give up on yourself, on the life you deserve, the life you want to live, and the fact that you can achieve anything and everything you put your heart into and fight for!!! God bless you, Drew! God bless everyone and love & light always! 🙏❤️👼💖🌟🩷💫🫶💝🥰💞🧿

I find it very interesting that both Paris and Drew had very similar experiences: being carried away against their wills, when they were both young, and then institutionalized (with their parents' involvement). And yet, they BOTH showed up to Britney's wedding, (part of only a VERY select few), having both had similar experiences to what BS went through, and yet they remain quiet to this day. WTF.

Drew is very quiet about the real things she’s experienced too. Her book that’s mentioned in this video is out of print and she doesn’t come right and say ever that she was the victim of SA as a child even though she clearly was. They’re probably too deep in it that they’re afraid to say anything
