- So, I went through every room in Undertale and called Papyrus on the cell phone your character has because I wanted to see what he says in each room. The results were..... absolutely delightful :D
Definitely well worth the time ;)
*Note*: I traversed Snowdin and Waterfall AFTER I cleared those areas (i.e. I went back to them and THEN called Papyrus in each room), whereas all of the rooms afterwards (Hotland and on) I called Papyrus as I was playing through the game. I noticed there were a few differences in some of the rooms in Waterfall with what Papyrus would say if you were going through the rooms for the first time vs. if you went back and called him later, (the first of which I did NOT capture on video as I would've had to reset and start the game over UMM NO THANKS), which means Hotland may have also had some differences if I were to have gone back through every room after I cleared the area and then called Papyrus.
But it already took me a bazillion hours just to do this. And I didn't want to go through hotland again. So if anyone discovers any different convos leave them in the comments!!! Or if you called Pap in any other secret rooms that I missed, also leave those!!!! 'Cause I'd love to know what they are!

Example-
Sans: "you're smiling."
Papyrus: "I AM AND I HATE IT."
Papyrus actually says more puns than Sans. Unlike Sans he actually takes time to plan them, then he'll wait for the right time to say them. Papyrus is actually a comedic genius.

If you call Papyrus right after your date; he tells you exactly how many seconds it took you to call him after he gave you his number. Then proceeds to draw you a map to help you find your way out of him room XD

Yeah, it's Chara who falls in 201X (explainting why Asriel has a camera), and the actual game takes place a pretty long time afterwards. There had to be major time gaps between the human children falling and Toriel says 'You're the first human to fall here in a long time', or something along those lines.

Here's a neat trick. After befriending Undyne, go just outside of Alphys' lab before fighting the royal guards. She'll say something about humans having hypnotic powers. Then when you fight the guards, RG-01 will say "Haha just kidding. The human was using their hypnotic powers on me." Or something like that. I came across that completely by accident when i was curious about what papyroos and underwear would say about the guards

0:35 Sans turns the atmosphere creepy by slowly walking up to you from behind in the shadows, fully aware that he could kill you, creeps you out even more with the dialogue and the no-sound, and then pranks you with the hand-whoopee-cushion before making like ten million puns and being basically kind of annoying for the rest of the game. There's in game dialogue that actually tell you that monster food doesn't get digested. A monster thought it was odd that human food "goes through you". It's a pretty interesting bit of trivia.

Every time i walk on a room i call Paps, after i do this i do the Undyne hangout thing and i start calling Undyne and Papyrus every time i walk into a room. I love the dialogues, the puns, the characters, their interactions with each other, Sans just walking in some times and the characters' different personalities. It just feels so good!

I got every call I possibly could from both of them on the save for my most recent computer. Really goes to show how much fun Toby has in writing character dialogue, and reveals so much. I also love how theres unique one-off calls for calling literally the moment it becomes an option

I've been an undertale fan for about seven years now and I swear to god I am *still* learning new things about this game and the world building of it every day.
the calls in the room at 21:44 always get me, because he repeatedly complains about hotland and how glad he is not to live there in previous rooms, UNTIL he realizes you've met mtt. then all of a sudden he changes his mind. hilarious.
