These are interesting Shayy but here’s something you don’t know. Back when the game came out the game was called Undertale. But it was switched to Undertale a few years later
Yeah, I actually saw the piano puzzle puzzle by ear. I didn't know the arrows eventually showed up. I wonder how much longer that would have taken had there not been two solutions.
My first run of Undertale, I did the “first 8 are fine” with 8 notes and didn’t think twice about it. I later learned the melody is considered to have 7 notes there, and that works in the puzzle too. I almost forgot about that, until now. I appreciate Toby was so thoughtful about how this could be interpreted. Really speaks to a musical mind.
8:49 I genuinely never knew this was an unintentional bug, and always assumed it was meant for Sans. NOW I FEEL SO STUPID, SNOWDRAKE MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE--
Hi Shayy, I know a little secret that I don't think u might seen it before, but when you are on Undyne's first running and don't go yet to the next room by monster kid talking to you, just turn around multiple times on that run with undyne, then you will notice she"ll be angry and throw MORE spears to you, when that happens go already to the next room, after that Monster kid's dialogue will change, then everything will be normal. Hope u read it, Peace ✌️
Not sure if it necessarily counts for this style of video, but Toriel's sprite change when you deal lethal damage is not actually tied to killing her, it's tied to dealing a certain amount of damage and returns to normal when Toriel initiates an attack. This comes up in randomizers and stuff.

i'm 98% sure that the hush puppy works on *all* dog enemies, just that by the time you get it, you can only use it on endogeny pretty easy to just give yourself item 62 early though
So I'm a band kid. I didn't play undertale myself but I saw all the youtubers skipping the grace note in the music puzzle and was like ???? Why is that working? There's another note there! I thought the seven note solution was the "extra" one for the longest time. I did not even realize I was the weird one, apparently.
I didn't know about the one with the quiet music, but I knew something very similar. That's the trick Toby uses for the music box version and regular version of Home. One will be quiet, and the other will be louder. Of course, I only figured this out because I used to play on the (possibly illegal) 3rd-party mobile port, which had frequent audio issues. Namely, music tracks would simply not load, and sometimes, only one version of Home would play. This let me hear that it would just get very quiet, and not actually fade out all the way.
Asgore's dialogue after the human goes to bed in Toriel's house happens if you spared her, too. I believe Empty House also still plays if she's spared but I'm not as certain of that.
Sometimes I wonder about how many hours Toby had spent when making this game, because there's so many tiny little details littered everywhere. So many "what if's", so many hidden secrets. It's absolutely mind-boggling.
I remember when I first did the piano puzzle, not only was it before the visual solution was patched in, but I put in the "extra" note and was surprised to see you can actually skip it when I watched playthroughs, lol

i *absolutely* did the 8-note solution on my first playthrough, for the precise reason noted in this video. coming back to the game much later on made me genuinely doubt my own perception of reality-- particularly because, by that point, the melody of His theme was so DEEPLY ingrained into my brain, it was actually kind of difficult to hear that phantom note as part of the main melody anymore. but that room is the first time the player can ever hear that melody, and i clearly recall perceiving that extra note in it, which the game accepted as part of the solution. (if it's not clear, for those who are not already aware, older versions of the game did not display the correct inputs, so you were required to, first, intuit that the notes of the song were what the puzzle was asking for in the first place, and then translate those notes to piano inputs by ear. it was quite a rush when i managed to solve that version of it, but it's also no wonder it got reworked later.)

3:47 OBJECTION! it's pretty clear it's a different sprite that's not seen anywhere else in the game (the shadow has both legs facing the same direction and no arms, unlike the sprites you see in core)
I’m pretty sure in the files he’s known as ”waveguy” while the mercenaries in the Core are known as ”shadow sausage” or something. So there’s confirmation that those are indeed two different sprites.

Something i've tested in multiple runs is that, when you're inside of the rock room (The room in the RUINS where that one rock is annoyed you keep pushing him) WELL, if you interact with only THAT rock, you can immediately progress through without having to push the other two rocks. Pretty good tip for any speedrunners! Its only by a few seconds, but nice nonetheless.

Legend has it Toby got the 'delete Undertale' function to work correctly once, then it promptly deleted itself and he never got it to work again.
PEAKKK ANOTHERR FACTS VIDEO!!!! 🔥
I've been playing the secret solution to the legendary artefact all along. I never realised you could leave out that low note
3:51 AMOGUS!
💀💀💀💀💀

bro the jumpscare 😭
got me at 4 am 😭😭
I nearly had a heart attack because of that among us jump scare bro 💀💀💀
I literally watched part 2 2 hours ago, awesome!
It’s almost like he’s still here with us. If only he went for the chicken. Fly high, frog bean 🕊️
bro i just watched 10 facts about under tale now i see this: its my day today
3:47 OBJECTION! it's pretty clear it's a different sprite that's not seen anywhere else in the game (the shadow has both legs facing the same direction and no arms, unlike the sprites you see in core)
I’m pretty sure in the files he’s known as ”waveguy” while the mercenaries in the Core are known as ”shadow sausage” or something. So there’s confirmation that those are indeed two different sprites.
@@sugsaltacc3586 When you find Gaster in the bunker and he shouts "SHADOW SAUSAGE, DETAIN THE $!$? SQAUD, WAVEGUY, FIGHT THE ORIGINAL STARWALKER THOSE EGGS ARE PISSING HIM OFF"
@@anon4305 Rubbed one out to you just for that reply 🥰
wow i never thought another video like this will release one of the best ive ever watched tbh. Glad a 3rd one dropped
8:44 the law is dead, might as well steal a sign from a ghost town
I wish you luck on your Journey to 300k! Always nice to see more from you!
6:39 I only knew this because as a composer it was easy to recognize the grace notes but my girlfriend did the puzzle and didn't use them and I was so shocked.
I can't find this anywhere online maybe because Im stupid or smth but after beating sans in genocide you can backtrack to the new home to hear a slowed down music from flowey dialog (the one that plays after flowey starts shaking in that long hallway before last corridor)
(In Megalovania melody)
You felt your sins crawling on your back
You felt your sins weighting on your neck
KARMA's coursing through your veins
The battle finally begins!
Genius
bro how do I keep seeing you it feels like a collision between 2 galaxies 😭😭
(I am not going to explain why)
3:46
I WAS NOT READY FOR THAT LMAFO
6:07 Well, with Toriel explicitly stating "They come. They leave. They die." I don't know how ambiguous can you get with their fates. I think it was removed to lessen the "disturbing" aspect of a... Younger specimen of homo sapiens' expiration date arriving earlier than normal due to external puncturing force being applied. (I hate you, UA-cam censorship)
I love that these are actually facts in the game itself, not about media surrounding it, like 'DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE WAS THIS ONE RANDOM ASS GIVEAWAY 10 YEARS AGO?!"
1:37 ooohh!! I just had that text yesterday! I showed it to my friend who had been trying the battle for hours and they hadn't seen it either. It just happened
Something i've tested in multiple runs is that, when you're inside of the rock room (The room in the RUINS where that one rock is annoyed you keep pushing him)
WELL, if you interact with only THAT rock, you can immediately progress through without having to push the other two rocks. Pretty good tip for any speedrunners! Its only by a few seconds, but nice nonetheless.

Let’s also note that he may have never fixed it so Undertale doesn’t get flagged as malicious, as a program deleting itself definitely raises flags in anti virus software
Ain't Doki Doki got away with this?
@@darkangel3063 if I remember correctly, DDLC doesn’t delete the actual executable. Which would flag it.
@@darkangel3063
DDLC only ever adds / removes files to the main directionary from one of the Ren'Py Archives, usually scripts.rpa.
The fact that i got jumpscared by the AMONGUS with the mysterious figure got me rolling to the floor😂😂😂
THATS MY E-ENBY
For the Hushpuppy, you ALSO can't have the "Hot Cat" [item] in your Inventory (Phone storage is fine)
Did you know Undertale was supposed to be called Cave Game
Real
Infiniminer reference?
that's how minecraft was originally named, but possible it's also a infiniminer reference
Isn't it INSANE that Toby Fox put in so many secrets and easter eggs that nearly a DECADE later lil stuff like this is still being found?!
0:54 THATS WHAT I ALWAYS THOUGHT
