Mary Ann Glendon! You are one of my all time woman super stars. You spoke eloquently for Catholicism in the public square with Saint Pope John Paul’s blessing. That conversation remains fierce and important. Thank you.
While being morally blind to the evil perpetuated by Francis. Instead she complements his phony initiatives that obtained Orwellian results, making the Vatican's finances even more corrupt, a coverup in which he participated, undermining the Church's moral witness, his numerous blatant heresies, etc. Glendon is coming across as foolish to give Francis uncritical blind "credit" for "reforms" that are blatant corruptions. Firing competent people and replacing them with heretics and incompetent people opposed to preserving the Deposit of Faith, as he is determined to destroy, is no kind of reform.
He gave it to me. faith. It’s totally there. Nobody has said anything better on the Earth.
Raymond, the Catholic Church is also in major ðecline and it is run by an all-male hierarchy.
The Catholic Church is the Body of Christ … or “run by an all-male hierarchy”. The choice is yours. There is no middle ground. The clock is ticking. Peace. ❤️☺️
The Catholic Church is ALL of us.
“ALL of us” What do you mean?
Because Christ was male. The Deity that Is, came here as a male person. That’s what we have been told. ✌️
Catholics learn that all people, “all of us”, belong to a unique category. We are all sinners. Jesus told us he came for sinners. Jesus told us that what we do for the least of our brothers and sisters, we do for him.
That looks like the battlefield hospital Pope Francis recognizes. Jesus is the doctor. We are the patients and the staff. Our excellence as staff improves as we pray, “on our knees”. The Catholic Church is what our hospital looks like while there is still time. It is run by sinners. Jesus offers each of us a cross to carry in support of our Catholic Church. You are a woman or a man. The cross he offers you takes that into account. Embrace it. Get to work. The clock is
ticking. Peace. ❤️☺️
The biggest mistake is not sticking to Catholic tradition. Women need to follow the ways of mother church and stop looking for positions of prestige. Women have always ran the church without such grandiose titles. Let's be honest, Maryanne has held the grand title and now the church is in disarray. Hmmm make you wonder does it not? Retire already.
She dodged the final two questions, on whether there should be Holy Orders for women, and instead turned it into a discussion on the role of the Laity. Raymond did not correct her. Disappointing. Really just a promotion for her book, rather than a searching discussion.
