Still waiting for this Epic at bat ....
Still waiting for the "first"!
All professional sports is nothing more than the soap opera
"This Epic moment was brought to you by Winston Cigarettes! 9 out of 10 Doctors prefer Winston to the other leading brand.
Lmao
It was the look at the Winston sign that was the true win here
Bo knows clickbait
😂😂😂😂
Lol... Classic
Love the comment Bo knows click bait LMAO! Anyone old enough remembers the Bo knows commercials, all bs aside Bo arguably could be the greatest all around athlete ever. This man made it look effortless! Hats off to Bo!
🤣
Lol
There is no limit to the epic sarcasm this video deserves. Next time, show the whole at-bat or don't bother posting. Thank you.
Don't recommend this channel.
Facts
Thank you for taking the words out of my mouth and saving me the trouble.
That's 30 second of my life I can't get back. Thanks for that.
Your first UA-cam post - not so epic.
This comment was epic at least
lol!
Epic clickbait.
😂
@@puredistancegolfb0m09x
Damn ! Tricked me into watching it twice because I thought I missed it.
RIGHT!!😖 didn't miss a dag-thing. Time, my time wasted!
ME TOO
LOL SAME
The epic part was he only got 2 strikes.
This mofo got me too! lol!
Incredible at bat, no one has missed a fastball like that since Bo… epic.
That guy was fun to watch. Hasn't been an Athlete that even comes close to him. If he didn't get hurt he would've done Amazing things
Dion wasn't bad,if ur talking about two sport athletes..he exceled in both..
not even Deion Sanders who played in a World series and a Super Bowl??
LEGEND HAS IT, THE GUY THAT POSTED THIS VIDEO CAN'T EDIT PROPERLY.
Hall of Fame. Every sport should be proud to carry his name. Bo fuckin Jackson. One of the most Master Athletes we have seen in our lives. So happy I had the opportunity to see him play. Even have a personal connection with him from the left field stands at Kauffman.
Yeah kid, sure you do 🙄
No balls ... Two strikes ...
But it's that WINSTON sign that makes this short EPIC!
I guess his bat was made at Winston and his swinging was SMOKING
Cigarette advertising on TV ended in 1970, but if there's a will....
This was epic? It’s a 430ft shot from a player on roids. Now if you’re saying 530ft, ok.
McGwire was my favorite player all time, but he was juiced, balls and bats were juiced with the fences moved in.
I think people forget how big the fields were in the old days. 430ft doesn’t seem very epic.
@NickkaDUB Everybody juices. Mcgwire hit them 600ft. I had season tickets.
@@johnberger8817McGuire did have that crouch stance that he would just unleash like a cat striking or something to that effect. Don't let it be lost on all of you that the one of the greatest pictures of all time Pedro Martinez was the greatest at a time when everybody was juicing except for Pedro.
At his peak, Bo may have been the greatest American athlete ever..
Deion Sanders won 2 superbowls and played in a world series. Nobody has done that
@@heterodox3487 those are team accomplishments not individual..
Bo IS the greatest athlete of all time.
May have been? He was.
Right...Bo is the only pro athlete to dominate both baseball and football. Although Deion Sanders also played both football and baseball, Deion Sanders didn't dominate baseball like Bo did...
That foul ball was fucking EPIC!
Profane.
The fact that this man played 2 sports simultaneously and excelled at both makes him a great.
Not simultaneously, he never played both sports at the same time. He baked imto his contract with LA that he was allowed to play the entire baseball season and join the raiders once the baseball season was over.
Bo was quite possibly the most amazing athlete ever born. Worth it to look up his highlight reel on youtube.
That was the most EPIC foul ball I’ve ever seen
That "at bat" was brought to you by Winston cigarettes 🚬 😂
Lol!
"Winston tastes good like a cigarette should"
😂😂😂
Damn, would have been nice to actually see his epic first at bat. Kiss my ass!!!
Fr🤣
😂😂 yeah kiss his ass! Whatta 💩 video
I heard dat.
Well said
Mine too
Used to love his cartoon back when I was a kid, with him Wayne Gretzky and Michael Jordan....what a time to be alive
Bo was so incredibly strong. He literally powered through everything.
When Epic turns into a scam
Lol
Was this where he strikes out and breaks the bat over his leg as he’s walking back to the dugout?
@@duncanidaho2097 I think that was later on his career...
😂😂😂
Before the Steroids the finest of Winston Tobacco in the bat was smoking the hit balls record breaking opposite heights
I was watching the time bar at the end and was thinking “there’s not enough time, there’s not enough time left, he’s not even in the batters box yet”
Same. lol
It’s a shame the world didn’t have the opportunity to see the remaining years of this super star’s talent !
He was one fantastic athlete!
I have some questions for the 186 people that upvoted
It's almost a thousand now, lmao
Now that was funny!!
69k likes for misleading people...Bo knows BS when he sees it
That Winston sign was epic
You know it was along time ago! Lol
Never seen anything like it.
@Only2Genders once upon a time it was Winston Cup NASCAR.
Yeah it's the best part of the video, considering we didn't get to see the "Epic first at bat"!!
@@Only2GendersCommonSense it marks good television (n nasty habits ofc)
I watched every game Bo played on tv ! My favorite athlete of ALL TIME!
I went to the Raiders games! I watched Bo mow down Brian Bozworth ! Monday night running 88 yards and through the tunnel!
He hit a foul ball. Truly epic
Epic waste of time.
Epic blocking of your channel incoming.
WOW! That foul ball WAS epic. Once in a lifetime occurrence and I'm Glad I got to see it here . To think that that is SO RARE , I might never see that again
Laughing
Lol
You never will see a ball hit like that with that sound placement, location.
Looked like an oppo taco blast
NOBODY HAS ANYTHING ON BO YOU KNOW! Epic human highlight film is what he is! Great dude too‼️👍💯☝️🎚️🗽🏋🏼♂️
He beat out a three hopper to 2nd base
His first at bat was AFTER 40 other hits?!😮
“Bo knows everything.” Who remembers that?
Nice FOUL. One for the record books!
The whole at bat?!? Nah, just lemme see 2 pitches only. 👍
😂 greatest athlete ever!! He definitely needs to be in the hall of Fame! He did stuff nobody has done in just a few years!! Player's haven't done them in their entire career
Thank goodness there was no clickbait. This was truly epic.
The epic part is missing.
He hit a ball so far and high that it went over the foul pole and should have been called a HR, but called foul. Then he beat out a ground ball to SECOND base for an infield hit.
Epic clickbait.
That was one of the most disappointing videos ever.
what a piece of misleading garbage
That’s for sure.
Sucks!!!😅
Kinda tired of this kinda crap
Bo was swagged out and showed crazy confidence for all those people wondering what makes this 1st at bat epic.
WINSTON SIGN
He was a beast on whatever field he stepped on!!! NFL also
Since then, no one has EVER swung for strike one and fouled for strike two. Before then, either. Truly an EPIC accomplishment!
These new generation posters are so damn stupid!!!
And off of a white, left-handed pitcher no less - incredible! In fact, EPIC !!! And i almost forgot - an opposite field foul ball, Wow!!
How about showing the whole at bat?!!
I remember this guy popular at one time his sneakers was a must grab in the 90s😊😊
OKAY YOU IDOIT WHO LOADED THIS CLIP, THE EPIC AT BAT WAS A FOUL BALL LMAOO
The only epic thing in this video is the White Sox pitcher. Hall of Famer "Lefty" Steve Carlton
Played for the Phillies for many years and I saw him play at the old vet as a kid. GREAT PITCHER!!
Only a casual baseball fan but 👍
Dislike for being a liar and not giving us the entite epic at bat.
The title: “epic at bat”
Me: wow a 1-2 count is the most epic at bat I mean WOW
Great to hear Don Drysdale
In today’s game an entire full count at bat happens in the time this took to see TWO PITCHES here.
There goes 2 min of my life that I can get back if I could rewind this video.....where is the rewind button at?
Bo was an alien, he was beyond human when it came to sports! I was lucky enough to grow up in Memphis in the 70s and 80s and the Memphis Chicks was my team! My grandfather and i never missed a game after he retired, we even went to practice and would watch and the team were really cool and would sign stuff for me. Bo was super nice, met him many times at practice. My grandfather was an architect and had something to do with Tim McCarver Stadium where the Chicks played and somehow he got me a signed game worn Memphis Chicks jersey. Its one of my prized possessions in the world.
It's a real shame that he injured himself and they didn't catch it fast enough it definitely ended his career way early. He's the only man that I knowof that Played football and baseball. He was amazing.
That was the most epic foul ball that I think I've ever seen and I've been watching baseball for about fifty years. You will never ever see another foul ball that epic
That swing and a miss; plus the foul to the right side was EPIC ! Thanks for sharing bro ...
I was so disappointed too hahahah
If you want a real epic 1st at bat, check Will Clarks 1st MLB at bat vs Nolan Ryan.
My Top 5 greatest athlete!
Bo Jackson, Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Koby Bryant, Mike Tyson.
We should report dude video for waisting our time. 😂😅😂
Anyone watching the time tick away thinking, "well surely he's going to hit a dinger in the last moments here!!?"
He swung his bats like he was mad at them.
that was so awesome. epic beyond belief that foul ball was
Bo knows baseball ❤😊
Nothing like half an AB to end your day on a high note
This is the equivalent of watching a porno that ends before the moneyshot
I’d go with “ends before anyone removes their clothes”😕
He's facing Lefty, Steve Carlton! How epic could it have been for his very first MLB at bat?
I thought I recognized the delivery.
Grew up in the Philly area in the 1980's.
He was their ace.
An infield hit hahahaha!!!
Oh, is that "Steve Carlton?"
I would say Steve Carlton struck him out.
Shame we'll never know though..
(Friggin shorts)
Why'd they cut it off?
He got an infield single on about a 23-hopper.
Why the heck did 73,000 people like this clickbate?
Loved seeing players like him and PrimeTime Deion Sanders play both baseball and football.
I wish we’d see more of it today.
This man has flawless DNA. Was great watching him.
Back when Bo knew everything. Bo was a big star back then. Bo knows baseball..Bo knows football...
Bo also knows epic, and it isnt this
I rather wish Bo didn't know NFL football. The man was an awesome talent whose career was tragically shortened. Oh, what he might have done over the length of a full career in baseball.
@@howardosden3112 I'll never forget the first time I seen him make that catch and run on the outfield wall. What could of been if he didn't get injured
Watching this just reminds me how much better the game is with a pitch clock
This was his first at bat, and he ended up with an infield single. The first pitcher he ever faced was Steve Carlton and it was the bottom of the 2nd.
Stirke and a foul, yet no fucking finish?
Lmao 😂
Definitely no happy ending there!
We're all still waiting for that EPIC at-bat. 🤔
Lest we forget the man had the highest strikeout rate in baseball history.
Aaahhhh old school baseball. The game took 6 hours and each at bat was about ten minutes.
This just reminds me how great the new rules are. 55 second video for 2 pitches
I saw him live in his prime. Hitting bp and the ball just sounded different coming off his bat. It was amazing.
Corked?
I heard about 10 years ago he showed up with a metal bat for spring training batting practice with the whitesox and was hitting balls that had everyone watching
"Bo Jackson's first at bat was epic". was an understatement
. Bo and deion was the only two that played two proffessional sports at one time. Wasnt cocky but confidant in what they worked at.
I think you forgot something
😂
😂⚾🤣
Makes me want a pack of Winston's
My favorite part of this clip is when it shows the epic part of the at bat
Do you know what first means?
Borris.
How about editing the dead time so we see the complete at bat - after all it was "awesome"!
His greatest most iconic Home Run was his 7 Second Hangtime Pop Up Fly that went over the Left Field Wall to give the 1993 Chicago White Sox the Western Crown. They were so close going to the World Series only to be defeated by one of the Greatest Teams ever assembled in the Toronto Blue Jays.
Dude was big, huge, straight, raw, black muscle.
Bo was one of a kind. Sorry to see his career was cut short by injury playing football.
This clip was cut even shorter 🤷🏽♂️
"A swing and a miss."
"Foul ball ... out of play."
WOW! EPIC!
If you know baseball you know Bo knocked it out the park
When does the Epic part come?
Strike- epic
Foul- epic
Hotel- trivago
What was so epic?
You telling me you missed it? Seriously?? U need to watch it again. If you STILL don't see it, watch it again!! How can you be so blind?
legend has it he's still at bat.
One of the greatest all natural athletes ever! And a humble gentleman.
Go Bo Go’ ‘
Bo was so much fun to watch. There will never be a talent like that ever again.
Name the only player to hit a major league homerun and score an NFL touchdown in the same week?
@@the_bottle_imp Deion Sanders
Hear Hear
Just for the record he is facing Steve Carlton who was wrapping up his career with the White Sox. Apparently he got an infield single off of Carlton. But it wasn't shown.
An infield single that would have been a regulation ground-out for a lesser mortal, from memory
@@bp1359 Thank You for the input. It's too bad they didn't show the full video. Bo Jackson was an incredible athlete. Steve Carlton was an incredible pitcher. I of course was partial to Tommy John but honestly the nod would go to Carlton.
It was so Epic, they did not think the world could handle the Epicness. They Deleted it.
Mmmmm, stats and a 1-2 count. Gripping.
...Oh, almost forgot the story about more exciting past at bats!
he could’ve been a HOF if it wasn’t for football
You know you’re a bad ass when your first at bat you already have a .338 batting average.
Bo swings that bat like a toothpick. Bo knows Baseball bro.
