Great presentation. As a former pilot, nice to see the ARFF rigs being described.

Great to see how San Jose airport has grown. I commuted into and out of there 1986-1989 working working SCV Paramedical Services and San Jose Ambulance Service.

You guys should do a day in a life video of each posting you guys have in the sjfd community like paramedics, firefighter, battalion chief, and more positions you guys may have.

That's a great idea. We do have a "Station 5 Tour" video (ua-cam.com/video/DWgCQKQz77A/v-deo.html) that gives some insight into these roles, but it would be great to take a closer look.

I heard an Alert 3 on my scanner back in the 1990's for San José International. It was a commercial airline flight with nose gear problems indication light. They rolled in an impressive amount of equipment for it. The plane landed without any problems.

Neat! We've been serving SJC for over 60 years now, so we've seen many interesting calls.

Yes B5 has the amazing positions. He is responsible for station 29 (HIT station), station 20, USAR34A, USAR34B. And other station’s within the area

You forgot one other use of the aircraft rescue vehicles and that's refinery and chemical plant fires.. these are things that need phone as well I don't know what your airport covers but I know a lot of airports that I've read about carry a triple alcohol type phone concentrate and some now are carrying another type of firefighting agent what they call a wedding agent not military has been extended experimenting with these wedding agents for the last 10 years. This unit has multi-use besides the airport of course you don't want to take more than one unit off the air force property.. we're going to pit international what's in our service area well not in our area but within our region.. approximately 20 miles away.. and of course what I learned from my airplane rescue course it was a seminar that airport incidents meaning they happen on takeoff and landing a lot of incidents sorry and people within the 50 mile radius of the airport.. should be prepared for these emergencies.. Albertsons greater pit is an Allegheny county us folks should Beaver county were never invited to the drills.. they're in the neighboring community to the airport.. and ironic thing is the last plane crash and greater Pitt was Beaver county my home county.. actually about three miles from my mother's house.. yes my uncle was there.. ironically diminished priority it happened in offshore border since community.. have a nice day remember everyone comes home a lie and safe..
