@@dillaboo16 yea. It only works about 20% of the time when a magazine is inserted, loaded or unloaded. I already sent it back to VKTR once and they didn’t fix shit. I’m about to send it back for a second time.
I don’t want to say I got “upsold” one today, but it all makes sense once you break it all down. It was this or the LWRC DI. Upgraded trigger, charging handle, muzzle break would already cost just as much to upgrade. Full ambi lower on this is a lot smoother too. VKTR for the win
Good question. Put simply, it is the best surface finish for bolt carriers. Aside from the hardness and lubricity benefits of the material, fouling, particularly from shooting suppressed, just wipes off.@@patriotgunner
@@patriotgunner They may well be, but chrome has stood the test of time and while various other finishes were evaluated, the overall performance of chrome is why it was specified.
@@PaulLeitnerWise that makes sense. Chrome lined barrels and things like that have been around forever. What about the black chrome that a company did a few years ago? Have you ever had any experience with that? Thank you so much for your replies
If you are going to supress I would say the VKTR is an option, but the question is do you want a proprietary BCG. This is a new product from a company on the block and I think they need to be vetted with time in the market first. Also you guys are saying all you need is an optic , when you both know there are other thing that need to happen as it relates to accessories.
Nickel boron is the worst finish for a BCG, the angle cut in the carrier does not increase lock time (only a longer straight cut does that) and an external piston will always recoil more than an internal piston..
What does it matter who's money it is? If it's a good shop or a good gun then what does it matter about that? Sounds like sour grapes. Do you know him personally ?
Hey guys, thanks for doing this Video, can't wait to get some in the customers hands!
Picked one up yesterday at your store, can’t wait to get out to the range
Hope you have a blast!
Are you having any issues with the left side bolt release?
No, just shot 300 rounds and had no issues

Really dig that handguard.
I really like it except for the cut off the end on the 6 o clock position.
The AR I've seen where I wouldn't change a thing! I want one.

FYI Guys, the bolt carrier is hard chrome plated, not nickel boron.
Why was chrome chosen for the bcg ?

@PaulLeitnerWise I was under the influence that np3, nickel boron and titanium nitride where there the most lubrous of finishes?

This does sound like a great idea 💡 IMO
Nice shirt bro! Stay Spaded
It's not a Nickel Boron coated bcg. It's hard chrome.
Tou guys are located in Las vegas, right?
I like how you teased the price then never said it lol
So, just how much velocity is lost from dumping so much gas?
