Didn't mention that you don't actually need the items in the depot to be in your inventory to build new factories. The items are automatically pulled from the depot when constructing.
Is there any function difference? It's basically a 2nd inventory except you have to manually put things into it in person but can take things out anywhere?
What's the purpose of all the factory building? It looks like you're producing items because that's the task you've been given? But why? Subnautica, Grounded, Raft, 7 Days to Die and Planet Crafter. All those games have a reason for exploring and building other than just because.
You need to complete Project Assembly. If you want to know more about the story and purpose I suggest going to the wiki and looking for the "Space Elevator" & "Project Assembly"
It's more like a on-demand "Mall", with it you can get any item you need for building. For example, if you have Iron Plates, Iron Rods, and Concrete all go in to the Dimensional Depot, you can constantly make foundations, and MK 1 belts without having to constantly restock parts manually. This will probably work for many other things too, like manually refueling a set of Biomass burners that are very far away (+3000 Meters) from your base.
Wouldn't know, never played Starfield. This game though, I restarted a save I had 150 hours in to begin 1.0, this game just hooks me in. I'm looking at doing vertical building this time with logistics floors and all that, didn't even attempt that my first playthrough cause it seemed intimidating.

Trains are accessible a tier earlier meaning you can more reasonably expand towards new factories across the map earlier in the game!

@@WhopperCheeseDota Connect the depot to the end of a storage and you dont have to constantly visit that factory when you run out of stuff
@@bloodstormuk2404 oh I see
magical
my favorite addition has to be the 90 degree build mode for conveyers
Does this also work for train rails? Instead of having to build 3 up and 3 over to make a smooth 90 turn
Excellent summary. Thanks for not wasting my time!
This was the perfect length. Thank you!
Thanks for the vid. Really appreciated a short whats new video as I'm about to play update 1 but don't want to spend long learning new things
Awesome summary ty!
I wish I had used the mam a bit earlier before building my first big factory. Could have build it a lot smaller q q
Satisfactory dropping September tenneth

this is a type of game where the production of stuff is the point, and obviously it isn't for everyone
Only feature I like is conveyor belt access to bio burners
can the particle accelerator explode and you become the flash?
Really nice video, mate!
Спасибо, чувак. Ты мне сэкономил кучу времени. Теперь я чувствую себя более уверенным к предстоящему обновлению.
Most welcome!
Thx
I clicked on this so fast because of the Title!
It also completely broke modding.
Good.
👍👍
Only one day left boys (good video btw)
Dimensional Depot is op. That's like nearly creative mode. And still no better/faster travel options other than tubes?
Cannon lol

@@HansSensei Wasn't that a glitch that got fixed ~1-2 years ago?
It's one of those games that looks really cool, but you play and get bored of within a week, like Starfield.
IDK man these factory building games can get incredibly addictive

How dare you compare Wokefield to this
@@singleplayersquad1 last time i played it was just factorio 3D, and that isn't that much of an improvement
