I don't know what's creepier, the Queen/Hag's monologue in how she delivers it, or the facial expressions she gives to the audiences. Heck, even the crow's looking like, "Yeah, people. I don't envy the nightmares you'll be having.".

in Harry Potter verse... the poisoned apple of sleeping death was created by dipping a regular apple in the potion Draught of Living Death and the prince who broke the sleeping curse, it was not his kiss of true love that woke the princess, but the fact that he fed her the antidote, Wiggenweld Potion, through the lips with a kiss
When you put both the original and deleted scenes together, I think the result is even better! I'm just disappointed that the deleted part of this scene didn't make it into the movie. This scene is really dark and ominous on its own, but it would have been even more so if it had the cauldron part left in.

Story goes that the scene was cut at the request of Radio City Music Hall. Apparently, when they were showing the movie there, management found that all the bubbling and dripping water in that first part of the scene was making little kids have to pee (often not leaving the theater to do it). Radio City Music Hall management was getting tired of cleaning seats and asked Disney to cut the scene. Disney complied, and (for whatever reason) kept the scene out from almost all other releases up until recently.
I could only imagine what it must have been like for a child (or adult) in the 30's watching this movie for the first time. It must have blown them away.

He gets rescued by a bunch of birds and goes to save Snow White,the concept ended up being used in Sleeping Beauty with Philip being imprisoned by Maleficent

Yeah but when you look at the final version of the movie, it doesn't feel like something was missing as it wasn't necessary to the plot, that's why cut this and the Soup and Bed Making scene.
My favorite part is seeing the skull on the apple. It's amazing that this is all animation. I don’t want to be the person that goes around telling people to follow other UA-camrs, but Jake Lee Animation did an amazing video of facts about this movie. It was really interesting. The woman who voices the Queen is the same woman who voices the hag; she just removes her false teeth.
The Wicked Witch has a raven instead of a black cat, wears a hooded cloak instead of a pointed hat, walks to the dwarves cottage instead of flying there on a broomstick and carried her poisoned apple in a basket instead of a pumpkin bucket.
Because the Queen is simply insane and malicious, she could've made herself more beautiful but she literally wants to kill the very person she sees as competition.
Because it's not just the physical beauty, such a shame that most of you can't get the essential out and look beyond that. It's the inside beauty. She did not have that. She did not transform into an old ugly woman, she just revealed the "beauty" of her soul. She could have had any form of physical beauty, but she was an evil witch.
I think it would have been hilarious if she did escape back to the castle and tried to brew a formula to reverse the transformation only to discover, SHE CAN'T CHANGE BACK. So now she's stuck as an old hag forever and now almost everyone is fairer than her now.

I always assumed when she said buried alive, she meant the prince will kiss her and it will take a long time for her to wake up (like how Juliet took 11 seconds to wake up from the poison in Romeo and Juliet 1996) and by the time she’s awake, she’s already covered in dirt and rocks and the prince neither the dwarves will hear her crying.
This should be like an Alternate Scene where she is Brewing the Cauldron at First then when we see the Smoke Rise then going into the Part where she Dips the Apple, But instead they just Open the Shot with her about to Dip the Apple in the Cauldron.

CastielDestler impossible when she finds out that the huntsman didn't kill snow white she automatically went to transform herself. so she was the Witch, not the Queen who ordered to kill the huntsman. and it takes months so transform into a skeleton, not 2 days. It's a slave probably. You can see coffins and corpses when she go into the cavern to transform, when she go downstairs.
Don't think so, the queen went straight to transform herself and prepare poisoned apple as soon as she found out the Snow White heart was counterfeit. There isn't enough time for the huntsman to turn into a skeleton even he had been killed rite after his return.
She probably also likes taunting the skeleton all the time as well by saying "Too bad you can't have a drink!" but then eventually she decided to let the skeleton have a drink by kicking the pitcher towards it and a spider crawls out of the empty pitcher

Probably because the mirror would continue telling her Snow White is fairer than her because it knows it’s just a spell.
Because the Queen is simply insane and malicious, she could've made herself more beautiful but she literally wants to kill the very person she sees as competition.
Because it's not just the physical beauty, such a shame that most of you can't get the essential out and look beyond that. It's the inside beauty. She did not have that. She did not transform into an old ugly woman, she just revealed the "beauty" of her soul. She could have had any form of physical beauty, but she was an evil witch.

I think it would have been hilarious if she did escape back to the castle and tried to brew a formula to reverse the transformation only to discover, SHE CAN'T CHANGE BACK. So now she's stuck as an old hag forever and now almost everyone is fairer than her now.

True, but maybe since she is so vain, in her mind, no true noble would willingly go that deep in a forest. Maybe thats why she didn't consider the prince.
I always assumed when she said buried alive, she meant the prince will kiss her and it will take a long time for her to wake up (like how Juliet took 11 seconds to wake up from the poison in Romeo and Juliet 1996) and by the time she’s awake, she’s already covered in dirt and rocks and the prince neither the dwarves will hear her crying.

I wouldn't show this movie to my kids at all. This scene made me anxious as a kid.
I think it definitely depends on the kid. It was my personal favorite movie as a kid, but I can understand why it would produce anxiety for other people.

I mean, I know all studios tend to delete some scenes while they're producing a film, but usually this happens while the scene is still in the planning stage.
