@@xsuploader They did try to get Asimo to push carts and use wrenches and stuff like that. I guesss it never became practical. So they just retired it recently.
It looks like Hanson Robotics has some healthy competition! This fellow seems to have some impressive and practical physical capabilities and range of functionality. I honestly think that within 5-10 years, It will be difficult to distinguish a top grade android from a human at first glance.
Awww this cute robots will definitely make human life easier so much specially for alone and disabled people as well as people who are interested in technology robots must be a thing in 2030 come on like in stores, PO
Can't wait till they release this robot to the public, the question is will it be affordable? I know its gonna be expensive regardless but is it gonna be for people with extra money in there pockets or millionaires, I see this robot probably at around 2 to 5 grand but I feel it will be a lot more then that, if this robot cost as much as a new car or even a sports car alot of sales probably wont be made but hopefully they can make it some what affordable, plus if I ever did get one I hope theres an emergency shut off just in case it goes terminator on me and grabs any weapon under 3 pounds lol
@@matteventu Yes I think exactly the same although I think it was really in 2011 when Asimo did his best part (after that it was all the time the same without a real evolution).... But anyway... I cannot understand why the developers stopped development of the Asimo? I like Walker Robot because bring us the hope again of having a humanoid robot in our houses, however I have to recognize that even the Asimo had a better movement when he walks than this robot whose name is "walker". I hope with the time they improve its movement but anyway i think is not mos important thing, the most important thing, it is that a robot can help in a house with the wash machine, dishwasher, making bed, etc...
@@MojtabaHosseini89 it's a copy but ok, not only china but also other countries such as korea (Hubo), Iran tried to copy asimo . But nun of them succeeded . Can it be helpful for old people in the future ?
Reminds me of Asimo, hopefully it gets into mass production.
unlike asimo this is planned as a product so it will.
Better than asimo in price.Asimo is the most expensive robot in the World($2.5 million)

Hopefully it will be made in China so it will be affordable.

Why is Walker no longer on the Ubtech Website?
He Walked away.
You can find Walker on our 'Innovation' tab at the top right of the navigation bar. Or here: ubtrobot.com/collections/innovation-at-ubtech

During the Third World War, Chinese robots used kung fu to fight with Boston Dynamics robots.
