These are early research iterations, not unlike chatgpt 4 which is considered a research artifact. These robots are still awesome and of course will get better
I referred to it as a 'research iteration' because this model is part of an ongoing development process. Each version aims to build on the last, improving based on feedback and testing to enhance performance and fix any issues. Hope that clarifies!" @@privateuser2283

These may be ok for a robot tech demo, but still no competition in the real world. They are slow, the movement isn't fluid or as dexterous as humans, and so they are still in some way from being a profit or advantage for any company.
“Doing real tasks”. Like all humanoid robots the hype requires levels of extreme dissociation from reality. Tugging gently on a seat belt and calling it “quality control” is not indicative of a “real task”. It is theatre. Maybe humanoid robots will be something special soon but you wouldn’t believe it by consuming all this hype.

Hello buddy 👋👋
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
That robot seems so slow.
Currently all humanoids are quite slow when walking, but that won't be the case in one or two years...
How long do you think that will last?

CAN MOVE SWIFTLY ... THEN SHOWS THEM MOVING HANDS ETC. SLOWER THEN A 95 YEAR OLD WOMAN .

Its cheap. like a toy.
960,000 USD isn't as cheap as most people would like
Nobody Can beat Boston Dynamic
Only a million dollars each. Bargain.
Slow.
I still prefer Tesla, OpenAI figure 1 and Boston dynamics
Bravo! A true American patriot! Let's return America to its former greatness!
