Russ is right up there with the best of the best...If vince Gill had him on tour you know he's good. John Hughey being a tough act to follow. Also noticed he only uses a thumb pick and no metal finger picks. I've been doing the same on the last few PSG gigs I had. I think I had more of a tactile relationship to the instrument. Great post THANKS MMM!

you can "feel" what your doing more so than with picks
also, my hands are huge and harder to squeeze between strings lol
