Very interesting video all around! I also like it when sporty guys show off their body a little so I wanted to mention that. 😄🏸

@@BadmintonInsight Hey I am watching your video for few years , i learned many things, I need to know why I some times miss shuttle while doing smash, and reach the shuttle timely but misses. Please help me to find the solution
13:48 it's INSANE how Huang reacted to that trick shot and returned it perfectly!
Annoying she got everything back!!
she was relaxed and concentrated at the same time, amazing
@@BadmintonInsight lol
I would have been completely fucked by a trick shot that good 😂
I was eagerly waiting for your vlogs. I know that last video got less views than normal videos but believe me that analysis was amazing. These vlogs too are amazing and shows us the lifestyle, behavior and actions of professional players. Keep Going ❤ 😃
Agreed! More insights and videos of the matches and competitions please! All the best! Rooting for you guys!
Thank you so much! Yes they get less views but we’ve had so much nice feedback on this video so we will try to do more in the future ☺️😃
As soon as I saw Greg Mairs/ Jenny Moore play against Zheng Si Wei/Huang Yaqiong, I was so excited because I knew this vlog would be coming soon, and it did not disappoint.
Where did u watch it?
It's amazing to see how much effort it takes to be a professional Badminton player and I really appreciate both of you for taking the time to make such VLogs. Keep them coming. Also, I see how hard you are having to work in order to keep this channel going, amidst your professional badminton career. I'm so thankful for that and know that we'll keep rooting for you!! Love from India❤
Thank you so much Sathish! That means so much to us ☺️
Well articulated Sathish. These guys are really helpful
12:21 - that backhand deceptive cross court drive
Thanks Steve, you’re the best 😜
Oh yes.. that was amazing
I quit batminton like 2 yrs ago bc I was insanely bad and my friends laugh at me but now I have confidence after watching u and I learn a lot of skills from u guys ❤
Love this type of content from you guys, as a recreational and intermediate badminton player it’s cool to see how things are done at the higher levels. And all the bits inbetween the matches and tournaments are interesting too.
Thank you so much Ethan, glad you enjoyed it 😃🏸
Wonderful VLOG. You are perhaps the only professional players who show Badminton fans things behind the scenes. Thank you so much for that! And you do a wonderful job of it. Not too little not too much, just the right amount of content. You doing your own laundry, walking back through ankle deep water just goes to show that besides being fantastic Badminton players you also are very simple people which is so very nice. Congratualtions to you two and all the very best for everything in life.
Wow thank you so much ☺️ very kind of you! 🙏🏼
Hey, I observe that your game has improved in this Thailand Open! You guys are more relaxed as well. Keep Rocking!!
Very kind of you, thanks!
I just so love the sound of the shots from the match clips, it's music to my ears.
I didn’t know there were matches here and stuck in exam month. So sad, I really watch to watch you guys play. Anyway, well played and great vlog! Hope you have a great time here :D love from Thailand
Ah maybe next year! Good luck with your exams 😄🤞🏼
Love the vlog! I haven't been traveling since 2019 due to covid, and somehow the little scene with the rainstorm outside the laundromat made me feel like I was traveling with the two of you :)
Thanks for the positivity, looking forward to future videos!
🏸
Thank you so much Steven! That’s exactly why we wanted to make the vlog! Glad you enjoyed it :)
I loved this behind the scenes!! Jenny your defense and Greg your placement is amazing!
Ahh thank you so much Kara! Very nice of you 😊
Well done both - amazing, so proud of you both and thanks for taking the time to teach us all inbetween playing against the worlds best. You both did so good and should be very proud - as we are with you guys!
Thank you for sharing both of your incredible journeys with all of us ☺! Love the content and energy both of you have as always! It is great to learn how much preparation professional players do prior to a major tournament! Wishing both of you the best in your next tournament soon ☺🏸🏸🏸🏸
Wow thank you so much Adrian! Really glad you enjoyed the video ☺️
nice work guys! it's great see you guys document the journey as it's not always about the destination. I am sure many years from now you will look on videos like this fondly! keep focused on the process and enjoy yourselves as well ;)
Exactly right Mike! 👏🏼 thank you so much!
By watching your vlogs related to badminton I played nationals of badminton U17 and got a gold and now training in national team .thank you Simrat from India
Living up to the channel name being so insightful into professional tournaments etc. So fun to watch too, I hope I'll be able to play at that level one day :)
Thank you so much Shahil! 😃☺️
Malaysian here, neighbourign country to Thailand. Welcome to South East Asian heat, where winters only exist indoors. Glad to have you guys here!
Haha, it certainly is very hot 🥵 but we had a great time - we love the heat!
It was lovely meeting you both on the Thomas cup finals Sunday at the hotel! Good luck for your Asia tour and hope to see you guys in singapore
It was great to meet you too 😀 Yes hopefully!!
🏸That one rally win against the World Champions is so crazy. Can't imagine the stamina/endurance that is required for a full game!!!
Haha, it was a tough rally!
I found this channel randomly; it is really a channel that produces quality content. not only if i watch the channel i get knowledge about badminton wich helps me tons but also does not allow my mother to ask me why i waste my time in yt coz I'm getting knowledge about our sport from mixed doubles players famous worldwide. So ilo tell you smtg i played with my coach once 2 monthes ago in level 1 beginning. I did a few of the shots i learnt from you he was so amazed at my pick up skills and your channel. NGL my coaches recommend this channel to my classmates thank you so much for this and all. Keep doing it we are all there for you to support you whenever you need us love you guys and your content.
-Sai Anjana
Thanks so good to hear 😀 Keep it up!!
Yes ! A vlog of your Thai journey ! Thanks so much ! Looks like you had a really good time. Seeing Greg targeting those empty spaces against the danish was a delight ! But going against the chinese pair in round 2 was really unlucky ... Anyway, keep doing these vlog, it is so refreshing ! Cheers
Thank you so much 😊 great to hear you enjoyed the video! 🏸👍🏼
You guys are freaking amazing players
Thanks! Enjoy it 😀😀
Thank for sharing you experience! It's a treat to watch!

the net play switch at 13:48 was just *chef’s kiss* KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Been enjoying your channel immensely
Beautiful vlog 😍
Watched the last ralley atleast ten times! Keep going guys, you are doing amazing work. Wish you both more success and joy :)
Ah thank you very much for your comment 😀 Glad you enjoyed it!!
i'm a hardcore kinda guy and this was softcore video all the way, but i was totally won over by it. lots of fun seeing you guys get there, jen with her wet hair at starbucks, dealing with tropical heat and monsoon and the clips of you guys practicing and playing, which i for one would like to see much more of. loved seeing greg stretching on international flight-- usually find i am the only one doing that. i train in southern china where it is very hot in summers, but a couple times in spring and fall i went to philippines to play and despite the short hop on the plane and being in excellent physical condition, i was withered by the equatorial heat& humidity. few minutes of warm up and play in no a/c venue and i was like, what? i am ok in those kinds of conditions easing into it through changes of season, but flying in from UK to that kind of heat and humidity would be a brutal shock you cant really prepare for. in tropical conditions gear gets saturated very quickly. without a/c in 3hrs of intense training/play i will normally go through 2x shorts, 2x prs socks, and 5x shirts-- all fully saturated before changing. with a/c it is less but you still go through a lot of gear and like you said there are drift problems. it is not possible to stay hydrated during any kind of serious training or play, so you have focus on replenishing electrolytes and h2o. a couple tips next time you cross the tropic of cancer: 1) i use a giant 2L vacuum bottle filled with ice water... this is a kind of portable a/c that cools your blood quickly from the inside out and is more effective than refrigerated water, 2) a handheld lithium battery-powered rechargeable fan is very helpful even in air conditioned venues. cheers, and thank you for sharing your adventures
Thank you so much for the kind words ☺️🏸 haha yeah greg went through 2 tops in 30-40 minutes in our first session! Thanks for the tips 👍🏼
🏸 Love those vlogs! Reminds me of when I was living (and learning badminton) in Bangkok. Unlucky of you guys to get against the former world champions right on your second match, but you did great. Better luck next time!
Thanks Romain! That’s amazing you used to live in Bangkok, what a cool experience!!
🏸 so good I hope you guys can create more vlogs!!
Glad you enjoyed it, we’d like to create more in the future! Is there anything else you’d like to see in the vlogs?
@@BadmintonInsight I thought that the vlog was just perfect and had everything it needed still in shock that you replied I am a big fan of you guys.
