Stefan is actually quite good for a beginner who just played a year. His shots sounded right, definitely got some power. It’s only his arm movement after shot looks stiff, I think his shots will be a lot more powerful once he learnt how to relax.
Started just as a beginner... But guys your videos literally uplifted my game so much... That other players really getting jealous of my insane smash.... Love you guys.... Every Sunday everybody is chilling and I m the only one who is waiting to learn a whole new thing just because you guys do some preety amazing job every Sunday.... 😻💓💕💗
Ayy ayy ayee, what an amazing video 😍 My heart was racing throughout the video I felt their excitement I guess. And woah did not expect an Indian #proudindian #lovebadmintoninsight
What a privilege for the both of them. I love the humble, friendly approach of Greg and Jenny to impart their knowledge and joy of the game. Seriously impressive to play with the 'sweet spot' racket!
Ahhh… I love seeing people get destroyed, it gives comfort in knowing there’s always someone out there you can learn from and always room for improvement Thanks for the video, it was fun to watch!
so nice of you two, you played at the highest competition but you still played with normal players just a admirable attitude of you two good luck on your next bwf tournament, Greetings from the philippines
Always a pleasure to watch your videos, your smile and positivity are so communicative! I can practice your advices in my sport classes, cheers from France! Love you guys
You guys have helped me improve my game so much and seeing subscribers play with you today makes me very happy cause it was fun to watch. Wish to play with you one day 👍👍
Massive fan of the videos! Would love for my doubles partner and I to get a training session with you, it would be so beneficial for our game 🙌 Could be a really cool video series idea for you two, to do some regular training vlogs with some of your subscribers and mark their progress over a set period of time!
You guys are so awesome! Seriously. Awesome. I wish I could visit the UK and hang out with both of you! Great talents, great people. Cheers from the USA!
It's something about the echoes in the court from hitting the shuttle and the sound of the of the shoes makes when moving around what hooked me up with badminton. But too bad i can only watch it from YT videos as i dont have anyone to play with :( anyways, thanks for the lovely contents you two have been putting out over the years! Cheers ❤
Honestly stefan's backhand is insanely good for someone's who's played for less than a year. Pure power. If he improves his footwork he'd be a really good player.
Newly subscribed after watching tons of video and not knowing why I haven't subscribed considering how you both work so hard on your videos and contents. Side note: Stephan is extremely amazing! Practically only played a year and he has good power and court coverage. Even the backhand was pretty good. He'll definitely be much stronger
Dear Jenny and Greg, you guys are so lovely and kind to give opportunity to your fans to play with you and simultaneously give them some tips to improve the game. So amazing. Love to you both! 👏 Possible, pls make a video on how to play drives (with details of footwork and racquet positioning)
Very entertaining, also very impressed with Greg's skills with the sweetspot racket. Question, for when I decide to string a sweetspot racket myself: did it use a single piece of string, or are the mains and cross strings a seperate one? Is there a maximum recommended tension because you basically string half the racket?
Great video guys! I've found videos of the pro's playing the "corinthians" (guys girls with big hearts) the best, for one can contrast form quite easily. This video could have been twice as long with lots more of the game play, just more examples to watch and dissect!
It's great to see you playing and encouraging people who are below your level: so often at clubs, I see the better players refuse or only grudgingly play with lower level players- that sort of snobbishness and bad attitude puts a lot of people off the game completely...
I want to say its a little paintbrush, some clubs does that because they're snobbish but some simply want to play at or higher standard only because if you play lower its slower pace and will cause the higher tier players to play lower quality shots to "compensate" a game. Similarly when you start playing more of these 'lower tier' players you don't get punished for the mistakes, leading to laziness and skills being diminished. Additionally lower tier players will typically play less aggressive tactics and messes with the 'tempo' of the usual higher tier play. Edit: I would suggest play at your level or bit higher, you'll know what clubs these are when you scouted about. Obviously if you just want 'fun' and not chasing 'performance' then do whatever floats your boat at lower tiers.
How many lower level players are getting coaching and training to improve? If they are not and expecting to walk on court with much better players every time, their expectations are misplaced.
i agree with the other replies here. believing it's 'snobbish' or a 'bad attitude' for an advanced player not to want to spend time playing lower level players is out of touch with reality. the bad attitude is being angry that an athlete who has put in a lot more time and effort than you have wants to get a return on that investment of time and accordingly makes judgments about what gets him the best return. if you want to play with better players then do the work consistently and improve your game and stop believing other people make you unhappy
I want to add that there are annoyances at the club level, the stronger player ALWAYS get partnered with the weakest players, when that isn't the case the weaker players complain its not a "fair" game... What makes you think a singular player can carry in a doubles game? Worse yet, the opposition would start picking on the weaker player to "win" the game. Sure you do that in a competitive setting, but you're not playing competitive, what's the point? (Ego?) This then puts off competitive players in more social settings. I don't play competitive currently (due to covid), it doesn't matter so much but my game has completely changed because I need to overcompensate to accommodate weaker players. Eg Cover 2/3 or more of the court in defence or attack, play weaker attacks to recover faster and get the next shot as my partner is less capable (mentality of singles), rallies rarely last more than 6-8 shots because of consistency, rotations are questionable, having to be more greedy with shots because at certain points as your partner ends up being stuck in the same corner unable to create opportunities, can't play any cross shots unless they're finishers because it gives opposition opening to pick on your partner...
Hi greg and jenny .... i am 13 years old and started playing badminton a year ago . When i started watching your videos I saw a slight change in my service and my game ....... hope to play with you both one day ❤️❤️❤️

Hi, Thank you for your videos. They are very helpful in improving my badminton skills. There is one thing that are often a problem though. I have a much higher ambition of improving then the ones I play with, and almost all of your training videos requires a partner for training. All I have is my kids, and they are really not very good at throwing og shooting a shuttle in the right direction for training, also their patience is very low, so that has proven not to be a great solution. I do not have access to a badminton trainer even though I am trying to build one myself, also a badminton court is not just open for us regular folks, so the garden is my main training facility. Except for the reaction videos and serving. Training without a partner is really difficult. I wish you could keep that in mind when making videos, and include some exercises you can do on your own that does not require a partner. Thumbs up!
