Good video, I used to live in Birmingham so walking around the Mailbox and Brindley Place brought back some memories, the former NIA Arena appears to have been renamed. In Canada now, playing way more badminton than I ever did back home but nursing an achilles injury, I catch up on your videos when I can't play.

I suspect the floors are sprung anyway, the court mat is used to provide a consistent playing surface between tournaments.
