I agree! The quality of the cook is more important than the speed of the cook.
DualBlaze is better than the Pro2 so would have preferred seeing that compared to TurboBlaze.
Me three 😅
Meeeeee too! 😊
Same here
Turbo blaz or dual blaze please ?
Which one would you pick between this and the dual blaze?
Hi from SW France, I've just ordered the Turbo Blaze, already have a Cosori and just wanted the additional capacity. Great review thank you.
Would I be able to fit a 8 x 8 inch square pan in the TurboBlaze?
Do you bake in 8x8 inch square pan? Is it always muffin cups?
Love all the info you provide. So glad I found you.
❤
Thank you! Glad you are here!
I just purchased the cosori turbo blaze and am wondering if there is a good recipe source on line for air fryer recipes?
What is the difference between bake and roast on duel blaze?
Hello Cathy, I’m so glad I’ve found you because until a week ago I knew nothing of Air Fryers. I’m a senior from Southern Ontario and think this would be ideal for cooking for one. I don’t have space for a big machine and may have to pitch my Cuisinart toaster oven. Not sure… not even sure if I have the budget to purchase am AF but you have answered most of my questions! Thank you!
Thank you Cathy I love your videos !! I had to watch the replay it was great .. I get so confused on all of the different air fryers and which one is better than the others .. my son has the grill COSORI one , I have the ninja 5 in one . I really like the one double with the removable center . I would use that for company a large roast or something else .. I would like to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁 Enjoy ❤️
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
During the Live Stream, a question was raised about using the lower-fan-speed functions with the Cosori TurboBlaze, and could you adjust the temperatures for them. So, let's dive into that. If you will all turn to Page 14 of the TurboBlaze owner's manual.......
There are four "Turbo Modes," which use the fastest speed (Speed 5) -- the typical Air Fry, Roast, Broil, and Frozen functions. You can save your own presets for all of the functions (well, almost -- we'll get to that a bit below), but "Fan Speed" isn't something you can change for a function. Rather, the other functions -- Reheat, Bake, Dehydrate, Proof, Reheat, and Keep Warm -- have slower fan speeds associated with them. You CAN save your own presets for these, so you can set one or more of them up to do what you want, with lower fan speeds. And that works like this:
Here are the functions, the fan speeds, and the temperature range that can be used with them:
Reheat / Fan Speed 4 / Temperature 300 - 425 degrees
Bake / Fan Speed 3 / Temperature 260 - 400 degrees
And well, let's just pause right there. Two of the functions don't allow you to change both the time and temperature:
Preheat - You can adjust the temperature, but the time adjusts automatically based upon the temperature you choose, automatically. You can't change it, separately.
Keep Warm - You can adjust the time, but the temperature is fixed at 170 degrees.
Preheat uses Fan Speed 4, so "just use the Reheat function, instead," if you want to adjust both time and temperature. Keep Warm is the only function that uses Fan Speed 2.
Then there are Dehydrate and Proof, both of which use Fan Speed 1, but they have limited temperature ranges, and are adjusted in half-hour time increments. So, those are fine for their intended usages, but might not work for some other odd things you might want to use them for.
Still, you could certainly use Reheat and Bake for slower-fan-speed uses, if the temperature range works for you. And then you could use an air fryer for things that would be "ripped apart" by the faster fan speeds of most air fryers. Also, of course, if you do want to use the slower-fan-speed functions for their intended uses, these might be quite a lot more useful than whatever you might find in most other air fryers.
You're awesome, Tom! Thank you for answering this question and explaining it so well!
I see there is no shake reminder on the TurboBlaze. Have y’all found that the TurboBlaze does not need to be shaken for food to be cooked thoroughly? Or is this an oversight in the design?
@@Chitostyle I haven't been paying attention to that part actually! I should test it out. I think it cooks up pretty good though. I've still be flipping/shaking food.
Make no mistake -- you STILL need to flip and shake your food with the TurboBlaze. Just try my favorite test subject, the grilled cheese sandwich. If you don't flip it, you'll find that the top might be perfectly toasted, but the bottom virtually won't be cooked at all. Turn and flip your food as usual!
Thx- because of your post in found out that i can programm another temperatur for preheat! so useful! thx a lot!! :-)
My oven is going and I’m putting super deep drawer cabinets for all my future air fryers and my Instant Pot.
Ha ha! I love it!
Excellent idea, wish I could do the same, I just cannot face all the mess it would make, but it’s definitely going to be In the future in planning kitchens. I got my Ninja speedi in March, I haven’t used my over since, and my hob only a couple of times to poach an egg😂. Now I’ve purchased a Cosori 3.4 lt because I need a little more space when I’m roasting veg, roasting potatoes, and cooking steaks or chicken, because when you roast veg there is liquid in the veg, and the potatoes don’t crisp up if I put them In With the veg say after 10 mins, so now I can put the potatoes In The Corsori while the steaks and veg in the Speedi . Even now I wish I’d purchased the 5 litre Corsori 😂😂 not the 3.4 lt. I take my speedi on holiday with me, to our caravan, I am addicted to airfryers, I cannot manage without them. The cooker in the caravan is a gas one, having experienced the airfryer I just cannot wait 45 minutes to eat it’s crazy time and the foods still not as good either after waiting all that time.
Hi from BC Canada. I just found you on youTube and I am totally digging your recipes (yes, I bought the book)! New Years resolution to eat healthier and you cook with a lot of veggies and squash. Not big on salmon but I'm going to try at least one of those recipes too :) Looking forward to some good healthy eating.
👋🏻 I’m in Poitiers France. I bought myself the Cosori Dual Blaze last year, thanks to your wonderful videos🙏🏻 I LOVE IT ❤
Je ne sais tjrs pas lequel prendre et j’hésite avec un ninja double tiroirs
I've had mine for about 5 months now and i'm really pleased with it
Regarding proofing, I would not want the fan running either. You are correct that it would dry out the dough. Also, I don’t like to go over 80 degrees F when proofing bread. Preferably right around 77 or 78 degrees.
Thank you for some of the most thorough review videos on UA-cam!
Strongly looking at the turboblaze, mostly for the ease of use and cleaning. Would love to know how it stacks up against the instant vortex plus 6L (both the one with the window and stainless steel model without the window, as recommended by America’s Test Kitchen), as well as the Philips Essentials 3000 Series Airfryer XL HD9270/91 6.2L, and of course a more thorough comparison with the Pro II and the dual blaze.
Also would be curious to hear what you have to say about the 7qt Philips Premium Airfryer XXL HD9867 with Smart Sensing technology.
There’s a lot of claims of better cooking quality with the Philips models, but also more difficult cleanup.
Again thank you for all of your work!
I wonder if the adjustable fan speeds will be a game changer for baking. Don't think brownies made in the air fryer is good and don't like lava cakes. Have been covering batter with aluminum foil. Wonder if adjusted fan speed for baking will let me bake batter without the foil cover.
Cornbread in 8x8 square baking pan?
I think it would be helpful in choosing between models of air fryer if reviewers would say something like "This model is especially good for people who _______ (examples: bake, grill meat or chicken, make bread, etc.).
Thank you for review.
watching from the UK Cathy, thinking of buying the turboblaze
searching for my first airfryer for 1 or 2 people. The Casori turbo blaze looks like a good one but is too large if your only cooking for 1 or 2 persons?
i think no. I am single and just ordered it :) I think to use single use paper plates not to need to wash it :) If i have guests i can also use it ;)
Cathy, I have questions. I’m a single senior, very occasionally cook for two people. 1) do I need one or two baskets? Can I use one or two baskets in a Cosori, depending on what I am cooking or does the AF come with a single basket or two baskets depending on the model? 2)can I cook fries and cookies at the same time? 3) which one would you recommend for me, a first time user? Thanks.
Cathy, which is better: Cosori Dualblaze or Cosori Turboblaze?
Heyy Cathy..Steve here watching from Loma Linda, Ca, already got my Instant Vortex 9qt & Luv it but thought I’d check out this video anyway.. btw fyi: got my cool recipe book yesterday, it’s nice! Thank you 😊

Thank you Cathy

@@empoweredcooks great stream\job
I actually have a dualblaze on my wish list because of the double burner. Should I not order one of those?
Thank you for your super informative videos on air fryers. I am considering getting an air fryer; I wonder if air fryers can fry tortilla chips?
Yes they can, she has a recipe with tortillas with meat and cheese on
Be careful running extension cords on those ok unless it’s heavy duty cord but usually not advisable esp with light duty cord
Watching from Australia!
I’d love to hear about the new version of the pro basket you spoke of.
Hi Cathie, it’s Pete from the UK here, I’m thinking of getting a new air fryer which cosori air fryer. Would you recommend?
Choose a large one if you have the space, Ninja or Corsori, I like both makes. I purchased a Ninja speedi last March for 2 of us, because I like the way it steamed and was also an airfryer. But I’ve found I still needed more space when I’m say, roasting veg, roasting potatoes and cooking say lamb chops or steaks. If I put the potatoes In With the veg they do not crisp up because if the steam in the veg, so now I’ve also got a Corsori 3.4lt airfryer I will put the potatoes on there own In The Corsori. The steam doesn’t matter with the meat. I still now wish I had purchased the 5 litre Corsori 😂😂😂 dies one ever have enough airfryer. But I’ve never used my over or job since last March when I got my Ninja speedi.
New York City....and still working from home
Got it!

Cosori did not include a shake button on the Turbo because they say the fan speeds make it unnecessary to shake.

I'd love to see the Dual Blaze go head to head with the Turbo. Theyre both on sale but I'm not sure which one to go with. For reference, I've only used an airfryer once. It was the Ninja max & I wasnt impressed.
I show a few differences in my newest video: ua-cam.com/video/WsLvqRGR5g4/v-deo.html
Not a strong side by side comparison. They have different features. If the TurboBlaze also had the bottom burner, I'd be sold on that one for sure. I like the display and the tray and the size and how quiet the TurboBlaze is compared to the DualBlaze! amzn.to/47FEvL9

I thought this video was a comparison between the Kori pro two and the turbo blaze but you keep talking about the dual blaze. I wanted to see the comparison between the turbo blaze and the pro two so what is it? Is it the turbo blaze versus the dual blaze, that’s not the label on this video
Which air fryer has a probe? Do you like it?

Looks like you got your power circuits restored ok.. fyi: when they trip, turn the circuit breaker off for 2-3 secs then turn it back on & it should reset ok
Normally they do! But it is the circuits on my center island counter that were (and still are) not working! I reset the breaker, to no avail!
Awe ok gotcha.. hope you’re able to get your island back working again soon btw: got your nice recipe book yesterday 👍👍Thanks Cathy🤗
I’ve got the Instant Vortex 9qt , should I do cookies on air fry or bake ? How hot & time, R the cookies in your book?
Cathy hello NC I’m replaying.
CA here!!!🌝
Can you cook bread in both of these air fryers?
Thanks so much for doing this comparison! These are the two I am looking at right now and I have been having a hard time making up my mind. This video has helped me a lot with deciding between the two. I currently have a very small air fryer without a shake feature (didn't even know that existed). I am so used to just shaking or turning stuff halfway through that that feature isn't something I care much about. Having a larger and brigher screen is definitely a plus for me with the TurboBlaze. And it looks like the flat cooking surface size is pretty much the same on both. And the TurboBlaze being shorter is also great because it will be stored underneath my cabinets and there's not a lot of space under mine.

Wow wow ❤
Unfortunately I’ve had 2 Dual Blaze the first malfunctioned in 15 months the replacement in 3 months. It would do different things sometimes none of the tabs including on/off would work, one time it changed function from air fry to broil so it would have burnt the food. Most times if unplugged & replugged it would work for that cook. After reading about multiple fires I decided to request a refund. Their customer service was easy to work with but all by email only. Haven’t received the refund yet. They wanted to see original receipts and pictures of the cut cord with the sticker on bottom in the picture.
I follow all your videos
***💕QUESTION💕: I have never owned an air fryer but I’m getting close to purchasing one, and I’m single. You’ve convinced me to purchase a larger one than I originally was thinking about. Would you recommend the Turbo Blaze, or the Pro II? TY 💕
I think you'll be happy with either one! I think the TurboBlaze is easier to clean and it's quieter. ☺ amzn.to/3ursJ8N
This video may help you too! ua-cam.com/video/WsLvqRGR5g4/v-deo.html

Just got the TurboBlaze and so far the only thing I've tried was toast-lol. It makes great toast, it doesn't dry the bread out. I use air fry for 3 minutes at 390.
Nice!
Got my Turbo on black Friday, done a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches. The crunch is awsome! Bread of different varieties is a bit of a challenge. I just set the time for a little sooner than recommended. Salmon was a dream. Soo good.
Yeah I'm hosting Thanksgiving for 22 people ...me and my mom.
Good luck to you!
What about cleaning?

Do you find Cosori and other air fryers have a bad odor? Many negative reviews over the odor problem.
Usually when you first open up a new air fryer it will have a factory smell. But let it dry run and cleaning it before using will cook off the smell.
I bought a Cosori airfryer 2 weeks ago, and I’ve had no smell from it at all, I was looking all the time for it smelling and having to run it with a small bowl of white vinegar and lemon juice, but I didn’t need to bother.

I enjoy watching your videos however, this one is definitely not your best; seemed rushed, unprepared, disorganized. Was expecting more structure in comparing these 2 units. I will say, however, you still managed to get your content and message across effectively even with the challenges👍🏼. Going to purchase the turbo blaze😃 and will check out your cookbook.
:) Yep, that is because it was a livestream instead of an edited video upload. :) I have a regular review for the TurboBlaze coming next week!

I will not buy another Cosori. The nonstick coating starts peeling just like less the less expensive air fryers I’ve purchased. On my Cosori pro it’s peeling on the bottom of the basket.

Got to admit I prefer your scripted analysis as opposed to live. Seemed all over the place. Whatever I’ll look at both and follow your thoughts!
The advantage to this unscripted live is that I can answer the questions right away. But I do think this air fryer is worth creating a produced video about. :)
You’re frozen
Sorry, not a big fan of live’s. There is way too much time reading the screen. Can someone not read & share the comments / questions for you?
disjointed presentation for an adhd person
This was a horrible video. When you are doing comparisons, they should not be done live while you’re taking questions. It is totally unorganized. When you did your buying guide, it was a much better video because you weren’t live and taking questions. I suggest on comparisons you do it non-live and organize your video just to do the comparison.
Why don’t you just unplug the ones that you’re not using when you’re not using them?
