Finally, an interviewer that doesn't interrupt their guests in the middle of an answer. It is so nice to be able to listen to a guest finish a thought. Well done, Ben.

It is my opinion, something that may or may not be substantiated that LDL particle only becomes problematic when inflammation becomes uncontrolled.

Yes, as far as I know that is correct:low grade chronic inflammation is very well established to high cardiovascular risk. The thing here is that high LDL levels most often occur in people who are overweight, and obesity is a proinflmmatory condition.

    Ben,
I’ve been following you for years, and have really benefitted from doing so. I haven’t commented on any of your videos but I think it’s important to do so in this case.
First, I would just like to remind viewers that almost no medical schools in the United States teach courses on nutrition, so I wouldn't put much weight in this guy being a doctor. In this case, it is evident that you know many times more than this doctor. His own diet (raw eggs (bad idea), raw liver (bad idea) and only animal products (horrible idea)) is simply unhealthy. It’s absolutely true that meat is helpful when it comes to growing muscle, but it’s helpful in growing cancer cells as well. This guy talks about eating meat for skin issues. My wife runs one of the largest dermatology practices in the US (50+ dermatologists) and agreed that his statements are absurd.
Eating like this is silly, and the largest, most credible and unbiased studies of human nutrition don’t support it. Check out nutritionfacts.org for unbiased info. This isn’t info for those who want to pack on 30lbs of muscle, but it certainly is a great place for people to go who simply want to live a long and healthy life.
I love your stuff, Ben, but this is really out there. I get how bodybuilders would love to hear that eating so many animal products is healthy, but this simply isn’t supported by credible studies.
PS- you are a fantastic interviewer!
