One thing that didn't sink in with me until I rewatched the series recently is how powerful the beam rifle is. Based on Char's reaction to when Amuro destroyed a Zaku with one shot, it was a game changer. As powerful as the cannon of a space cruiser, miniaturized so a mobile suit can carry it.
The guncannons rifle was no slouch either. It could one shot mobile suits too. Hell I even remember an episode where some zeon are laughing at the gun tank until it fires its cannons and they see how powerful it was with conventional ballistics.
Triple honey combed. Did not know that about its armor. I remember in the English dub how amaze Amuro was at how the Gundam is all computerized. A computer that can store data and learn truly was a marvel back in the 70s. Still, it what allowed Amuro go survive and develop his piloting and newtype skills.
@@smartinezai Probably to cause suppression. Maybe even enough bullets hitting the cockpit could pierce it. But the vulcans weren't effective enough to pierce the armor on their own
I weirdly dig this kind of style, yes the animation and graphics is worst than my half dead brain damaged life support game boy advance, but since the ms is in the past, its fitting that we present it like how we would do it in the past, also the best straight forward summaary for the rx 78 i know.
I would love three what if stories. If the other two gundam weren't destroyed and if the original pilot made it too the gundam instead of amuro and tim ray made it to the whitebase
It hard to watch when the pics are such in Super bad quality. Didn't learn anything again when all you have is 5min. Make the video longer so you actually have time to teach us something

Thanks for this video. I'd recommend for future ones to lower the background music somewhat. So are vulcans useless when used against mobile suits?
Not useless exactly. Lighter armor would faulter, but stronger armor would take the hits. Thus the lightly armored targets

I’d say using them on a ms would be for tactical suppression, you could destroy cameras too
@@rogue_newtype4364 True, disable weapons too. Hitting an E-Pack or a magazine of a machine gun/bazooka would cause some good damage from that alone

I saw a Camera 📸 with. WiFi cann it help us use it to see planets, animals, and damaged car part's
