I was in 8th grade when this movie premiered. I remember the attachment to the characters, and the dread I felt for thier situation in country. How does Christopher Walkin pull the scene off on the wall of Army hospital? full on PTSD without actually having gone through that shit storm, Damm fine acting... I am in my late 50's now and still feel that empathy and dread for these guys when I come across this movie... Fuck it.
