It was hard on both my parents but at the same time it’s very hard on me because I never met one of them

That's one reason I say that the family is in the military, too. They sacrifice and worry about their loved ones. And military families move to bases, help out, etc.

When I came home from Vietnam March 1969, my Dad cried and I only saw him cry one time before when his Dad, my Grandfather died in 1951. My mom cried and like this Dad in the video would not let go of me. All the years were of happiness.
