My dad would come out to the car, open the back door, grab my daughter in her car seat and go back inside. Not even a “Hi” to his daughter who gave her to him.
My father had a similar reaction to the first grandpa when my younger sister got pregnant. His granddaughter gave him extra strength to fight cancer and allowed him to live long enough to enjoy those precious moments.

My grandma screamed and cried when my sister said she was pregnant. " She started working out to be healthy so that she can be here for the baby. I may not understand the excitement but it gave her life. And thats what made us all teared up.

The first grandpa reminds me of my father-in-law. Kind of looks and sounded like him. He was the best Papa to my 2 boys for the past 8 years and was so proud. He passed away from cancer last November. This mans reaction really had me seeing his face again.
I know exactly how these parents feel! I had nearly given up on being a grandpa because both my kids are in their 30s with no children but I found out just before Christmas that BOTH my kids are going to have a baby! My son and his wife told me and 2 weeks later my daughter and her husband announced that they also are having a baby! In 2013 I lost my only grand child when she was only 47 days old. I was a grandpa with no grand daughter to hold or spoil and now I have 2 on the way! I can't wait to hold them and I thank God for bringing such joy into my life!

The first grandpa reminds me of my father-in-law. Kind of looks and sounded like him. He was the best Papa to my 2 boys for the past 8 years and was so proud. He passed away from cancer last November. This mans reaction really had me seeing his face again.

I know exactly how these parents feel! I had nearly given up on being a grandpa because both my kids are in their 30s with no children but I found out just before Christmas that BOTH my kids are going to have a baby! My son and his wife told me and 2 weeks later my daughter and her husband announced that they also are having a baby!
In 2013 I lost my only grand child when she was only 47 days old. I was a grandpa with no grand daughter to hold or spoil and now I have 2 on the way! I can't wait to hold them and I thank God for bringing such joy into my life!
