An addition which made a big difference in my shop was a floor covering made of interlocking rubber tiles, congratulations on the move

Maybe get a jointer planer combo takes less space Hammer A3-41 as a suggestion

Quite an adventure but it should be a happy one.
The first thing I would do it paint the walls and ceiling white and paint the floor while there is nothing to get in the way and have to be moved. You will appreciate the added brightness down the road.
Looking forward to Ep. 2 JimE

It’s been a few stressful weeks for sure but now that the shop is officially moved it’s all good again. Now begins the fun part of setting up shop again, so that I can actually start building projects again soon.

Winnie, I'd say you have your hands full for a while. I think you'll enjoy a larger space although it seems you always want/need more. Good luck. Thanks for Sharing!🙃🙂

Every time I watch someone move, I am reminded of how much I hate moving… 😆 While I don’t envy you, I am excited for you to have a new space. You can set it up exactly as you want it. 😃 How far away did you move - locally or was it a longer trek? Good luck! I’m looking forward to more episodes. 👍🏼

You and me both, I hate moving lol! This was a local ish move; only about a 30 minutes from our old place, but the packing was the same 😂😭

While it's great to get to move in to a new and bigger shop, I can't help but be envious of the property you're moving from. We all have our reasons for doing what we do and I wish you all the best with your new shop and property, but dang. I could be happy on your old property for the rest of my life. Who knows, once I see more of the new property, I'll probably change my mind. Lol

Thank you. My shop was amazing at the old house, I could have continued to use that space for years to come and been very happy, a few other major reasons became the reason for the move, and the bigger shop was a happy result of it.

Congratulations! Horse stall mats...I'm just starting to buy them two at a time to put down in my shop and they are sturdy enough to be able to roll my tools around without any issues.

This video and its hopeful sequels have come at the perfect time for me! I recently inherited, jointer, planer, drill press, router table/stand, bandsaw and a newer miter saw. I have been procrastinating on how to set it up, as im trying to only take up one stall of our two stall garage. I want to do similar placement as you have done, but I am required to keep like a 4ft gap to my outside wall due to our tote bucket storage being there. The ideas I have gotten might break the procrastination cycle this week tho, thanks!

Funny when I saw the moving truck I thought hey we have Two Men and a Truck moving down here In Indiana :) Take care, I look forward to what you have next.
