- "Get Me to the Stage On Time" is a behind-the-scenes look at the country music group, Sawyer Brown. A band that has traveled millions of miles, made 24 albums, and played 6000 shows, thanks to legions of fans they could count on, even if Nashville counted them out.
It’s a David and Goliath story that transcends musical genres, just like the band has. It’s the American Dream by way of a dirt road-and it’s the story of a band that turned 15 minutes of fame into a 40-year career.
"Get Me to the Stage on Time" will premiere as part of the Nashville Film Festival on Sunday, Oct. 1. Following the film, we are performing live on stage and will be joined by several surprise guests!

I can honestly say, I have never been more excited for a documentary! Sawyer Brown has been my favorite band since I was a child. I am now 30 years old and they still are my favorite band!

Although not my favorite, they are definitely VERY underrated and I have always been a huge fan of them. Seen them in concert and Mark Miller is very entertaining, great voice, fantastic energy and stage presence. Extremely fun and I also am extremely happy to see this when possible and will be looking to add this to my plex collection ASAP.

It had to have been 92 or 93. I was working in Iowa. A friend said let's go out, there's live music tonight. It was a little bar with a little dance floor and a little stage. On that stage was Sawyer Brown. And wow! Just wow! Such great music, so much fun. Then at break time Mark came down from the stage and asked me if I was having a good time and said how much he appreciated me being there. And that was it, I was in love with the music, the band and the man. I went from not having heard of them to going out and buying their CDs the next day. Love you guys. Looking forward to the movie.

This is going to be AMAZING! I absolutely can not wait to see this! I have been blessed to get to see Sawyer Brown 3 times & every single time they put on a COMPLETELY & AMAZING SHOW!!! My husband went with me to one of the concerts (before we was married), he only went to be with me. He has never liked country music & he still doesn't to this day, but he knew I did. After the concert my husband put his arm around me & said "ok I will admit it, they put on one hell of a show"! I loved that he has said that & of course it was completely true! Sawyer Brown was the only country music concert he would ever go & see with me & I know it would still be the same all these years later!

I have seen almost countless live shows in my 55 years. Sawyer Brown without a doubt puts on one of the very best shows I have ever seen. Any opportunity to see them again I will not pass up. High energy from beginning to end, it is a blast!
They were playing at the Adams County Fair tonight by Mendon Illinois. It was the third time I have seen them in 30 years. They still sound the same tonight as they did 30 years ago. Love Sawyer Brown.

I remember growing up in our house in the 90's, there was always a radio going. More often than not, it was Sawyer Brown that was blasting from the speakers. My Mom was one of your biggest fans, and ever since her passing on 10/18, I've been rewatching old Sawyer Brown videos, remembering the good times we had while your albums provided the soundtrack.
Lot of good memories I haven't thought about in a long time. Thanks for helping me feel closer to my Mom.

I say this every time I hear one of your songs, but you guys are easily my favorite country group, EVER. I've got satellite radio in the car now bc my local stations just play current stuff I don't care for as much as 80s and 90s I grew up on, but even the throwback stations on satellite don't play you enough for my taste. This past weekend on a road trip, I caught the top 30 from that week in 1995 and have had "This Thing Called Wantin' and Havin' It All" stuck in my head for days now. I'm hoping this documentary becomes available to stream, because even after being out of Nashville for 25 years, they can't get the country out of this girl.
My favorite band of all time!!!! I have not been to a lot of concerts in my lifetime, probably less than 30 total, but I have seen them in concert 4-5 times! They put on an awesome show. I love their interaction with the crowd, their sense of humor and Mark’s dance moves! I even was a fan club member for awhile and got to meet them back stage, get their autograph and my picture taken with most of them! I can’t wait to watch this movie!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Calling them a great band and the ultimate fan favorite of country music does not do them justice. They have proven the power of the fans over and over time and time again. I have caught them in concert more times than any other act. They never disappoint when they put on a show.
I was born in 1980 and I remember coming up as a kid absolutely loving Sawyer Brown on the radio. We were too poor for cable TV so it wasn’t until I joined the military that I first saw a Sawyer Brown music video. I absolutely love you guys. I was surprised by your concert at the Rattlesnake Rodeo in Opp, AL. I had no idea you were going to be there. I was in the stands singing and hollering aloud. What a great group of guys who put on a fantastic show.

Y'all were my first concert at the age of four in 1986. I couldn't take how loud y'all were and so I cried until I was finally taken home. I eventually saw you again at the age of 11. I took y'all in a whole lot better that day. I saw you for a third time in 2005. To me, y'all only got better as time went on. These days? No change. Do I have any complaints? None! Therefore, in my opinion, whoever the heck ordered you in the newspaper to turn it down, I thank them so much for letting us all know just how far their brain train does NOT travel. (big smile)

Saw them in concert many years ago at a "free country concert" put on by KHAK station. Still one of the best shows I've seen in any genre. And I've seen everything from Garth Brooks to DMX, Eminem, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Janet Jackson, Chili Peppers, and many other country acts as well. I didn't know their songs then but have been a BIG fan ever since that day. Mark Miller was really fun to watch on stage, even was a surprisingly good dancer for a country singer. Trouble on the line with the strobe lights on stage and high energy dancing....it was a hell of a fun show and radio is crazy not to see how good these guys always were. Cafe on the corner, Outskirts of town....Love those albums. Still play them to this day and I stopped listening to most country close to 20 years ago.

Absolutely one of the best performances I've ever been to! Thought that when I was lucky enough to see them as a teen at Rocky Gap in '98 and then again in '16. Mind blowing to think they've been performing as long as I've been alive and still have waaaaaayyy more energy than me 😂.
