Hi Marion, thank you so much for all your help in teaching me how to sew and giving me the confidence to tackle all you have shown us this year. I can see how much I have improved from a beginner stitcher in January till now. I have a beautiful stitch book, all thanks to you and your generous heart. You have made my year better, and I'm sure thousands of people would agree you are a bright light in this world. Have a lovely Christmas and I'm looking forward to seeing what 2025 will bring. Lots of love Suzanne, Brisbane, Australia
Oh wow!! I love your Dragon! I have always loved Dragons. I can't wait to see your front garden in bloom. It already looks so cozy and inviting. Have a very Merry Christmas, Marion. I wish the very best for you and yours for this upcoming year. And thank you for all your wonderful videos and sharing your wonderful talents, tips and tricks with us. 🥰
I find it amazing that flowers are blooming on December 23rd! Here in Manitoba, we have about a foot of snow on the ground and no active plants. I miss the growing season, but here, winter is a time for indoor activities after the snow is shoveled. 😊 Wishing you a blessed Christmas, Marion. I'm looking forward to your new projects and stitching in 2025. Let us pray for peace in the world in the New Year. Take care, Louise ❤
I can think of nothing I would like better than to walk up your lovely, tidy path and enter your gorgeous home for a heartwarming visit. Thank you for sharing so much of your amazing talent, and for trusting us with your thoughts and feelings as well. I want to join everyone else here in wishing you a very good Christmas and further healing in the New Year.❤❤❤
The garden looks lovely, and I love that you have Smaug at the door protecting you. It is Christmas Eve here in the southern hemisphere, and I have thoroughly enjoyed your Advent Diary. I’m a little sad that tomorrow will be the last one for the year - so much work for you, but it provides so much joy for all of us watching. Thank you. Wishing you and your family a lovely Christmas and a wonderful new year. 🎄 🎉
Good job Marion ! Nothing like a bit of a tidy up. I always find it very satisfying when I look and see what has been accomplished, whatever the size of the task. Have a lovely day : ) x
Wishing you a peaceful & a joyful Christmas and New year, Marion. You radiate such warmth and kindness, love of hand work and everyday joy. It's a pleasure to watch your videos and be immersed in the simple magic of your days. Thank you.
Great job with your front garden Marion. You have so many bird feeders that must attract so many lovely little birds. I covered some large pine cones with a honey mixture and coated them with seeds for the flocks of lorikeets that visit our Australian Natives front garden. They always love all the blossoms but they loved my cone feeders and I need to re-do.🌲🌲🇦🇺
Merry Christmas Marion. Thank you so much, for all the effort that you put into your content. My Green Man tote came with me on my mini cruise to Europe, so I could carry my Christmas projects that I was crocheting. I lost my Dad this year and my mum thirteen months before him. My mum taught me lots of crafting skills and getting back to it has made me feel incredibly close to her. I see and feel your sadness. Please know youre helping others in a way you'll never know. X
Love the chat with tea! ❤ we are done with our yard cleaning which i do, always have. Ot will start again in April. God will be joyful.of all.of his children you are feeding - birdies are jumping up and down and thanking you for a Christmas treat. ❤🕊 wish you a very blessed Christmas with great food and company. Sit by fireplace and enjoy! Hugs from across the pond!
Just this moment I was inspired by your dragon, to write a brief poem. ...By her doorway sleeps a dragon, in a garden full of flowers. 'Tis a place of sweet retreat, a truly magic leafy bower. Where a maiden full of sunshine, comes to rest herself a while. Amongst the beauty of her garden, and it makes the dragon smile. To sleep there beside her doorway, in a blessed sweet repose. With cool moss upon his back, beneath her fragrant climbing rose. 'Tis for him a thing most pleasant, true rest from Dwarves and Hobbits too. For her garden is a treasure, and his Marion is one too! Merry Christmas Marion. 😊❤
You are so kind doing that, for Marion, I ,know she hold it in her heart, It is people like you, and Marion, that make this world a better place, In this world, when we see and hear so much sadness, hate, unkindness, We need it to show that we all wrong, its not, its fill of happyness, Kindness and the greatness one is LOVE.
That was a lot of hard work in the garden Marion, and it looks so much better now. I would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a wonderful and healthy 2025! May the next year be better than the previous one. Thank you for all you are showing and teaching us, I thoroughly enjoy it all.
Dear Marion I enjoyed every day of the advent diary this year and, together with you, hung up my numbers and Christmas decorations. I intend to make some of the felt decorations inspired by the ones you have, for next year! I wish you and Wendy a wonderful Christmas and, of course, also your son Luke and daughter Naomi . I am looking forward to next year, see you then for sure 🎉❤
Marion your home seems so magical to me, both inside & out! Having several small gardens myself, I know what you mean…a little mess can cause a big eyesore. But your walkway now looks inviting to both people & feathered friends! Thank you for including us in your comfortable corner of the world. Take good care Marion! 🎄
hi Marion! thanks for sharing your garden clean up with us. it looks so different now. i bet your milkman will really appreciate it all as he walks up your path to replace your empties with full bottles of fresh milk. i like it that you garden with your cup of tea. it will be so nice to start the new year with a tidier garden. hopefully you'll get your new arch installed and readorned with your vines.thank you Marion for sharing Marion's World with all of us and for this second sweet Advent Diary series! happy Christmas. linda from california

The birds will be well fed too, I often heard birdsong in your videos during warmer months, you must get lots of feathered visitors every day. The buds and berries were lovely to see , thank you Marion, we enjoyed being outside with you today 🐉🐦
It's December 24th and I just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas. I am so glad I found your channel.I have learned so much from watching you.I just started my crazy patchwork embroidery book and am having so much fun with it. Bless you Marion.

Yard work accomplished. Looks very nice. I like clearing out my garden to see what grows in the spring. Have a nice day. Here in Ontario we are expecting up to 10 cm. Snow. I have already shovelled once today!
Clearing up to welcome Christmas, and the birds back. I love the music you added as background. Only one more day to Christmas! I’m excited to see your mantel decoration - I just saw the video of last year’s and what a glorious piece it was!
I just had to do it.. Every time I walked up the path it was bothering me because it looked so bad. At least I've got it as decent as I can until I get a new arch up...
nice job of clearing up👏. your so lucky your box hasn’t been had by the box moth. my box arch of 34 years growth has been decimated and is now just a stump above the ground🥴 have a lovely christmas Marion - looking forward to your 2025 videos❤️🎅
I love being in my garden and would love to be able to help you in yours. I am sure I would learn much from you re gardening, as I have with all the stitchery stuff you have shared with us❤
You and I were doing the same thing today - a bit of yard cleanup and filling bird feeders. But I’m in Pennsylvania and it’s about 20 degrees F with some snow left on the ground. I’ve enjoyed your Vlogmas so much! Merry Christmas, Marion!! ❤
@ here in Nova Scotia canada it is a snowy bright cold sunny winters day. And more snow to come on Christmas Eve. Most yrs we have a green Christmas. I’m having a quiet day, tomorrow I’ll make my pies, cranberry sauce. Turkey is thawing. Not long now. Enjoy your family and the closeness of being together with your yummy food and I look fwd to seeing your mantle. It was stunning last year. Xx
How delightful that you have so many bird feeders! I love to watch birds and plan tp start a new series of beaded & embroidered appliqued birds in the new year. And the dragon, the boots, and a clear path! How delightful indeed!
Sorry about your arch. The wind has been causing lots of trouble these days. You made it look really nice, though, and I’ll bet that your vines will come back just fine in the spring, too. ☺
Thanks Cynthia. He's lived there for going on for 24 years now... Michael bought him for me before we moved here but as the first spring arrived after we moved I knew he'd found his permanent home and he got cemented into place at the front door.
Wow that honeysuckle really was a beast! I'm betting it will go crazy on a new trellis after the haircut. I hope you didn't do yourself in too much cleaning up your garden. You don't want to be stiff or sore. Have a nice relaxing evening!
I just discovered your channel Marion. You are such a sweet heart! I have been enjoying your videos and if I lived there, I would come and visit you. I love to garden as well here in Maine.
Such a relaxing video and lovely music to listen for who watches, but wow, that was a lot of work Marion. Now you need a good cup of tea and some relaxing time. Thanks for sharing your day in the garden with us.
It often strikes me how similar we are in things we do and have. We little people "clear-up" the same way too! My birdfeeders....same as yours, I refill using a cut off- bottomed bleach bottle (blue for the big feeder, yellow for the little ones). I too have not trimmed the lavender....most unlike me as that's usually what I do first. I have bumblebees visiting the Mahonia which is just lovely to watch. Buds and blossoms this time of year are just magical. ❤
@marionsworld24 I agree. Hellebore are adorable. I don't have a space for them but there is a public garden not far from here that has thousands in a raised terrace. I walk around the back way so the I can see the flowers as I walk up the steps. A very rewarding winter walk!
Satisfying work when you can see progress with cleaning up the yard. Thank you for the advent series, I know it's been hard work and some channel vloggers have really struggled to keep it going. It's the 24th here for me now (New Zealand) so I wish you the best for Christmas Day and will see you next time. Kind regards =-)
@@marionsworld24 The grandsons (2 and 4 ) and I built a gingerbread Christmas tree this morning. It was such a pleasure to watch your gardening video. All those lovely plants in your garden! Your front entrance is lovely! Lots of work but well worth it. Enjoy your Christmas and New Year. Thank You for sharing with us.
Hi Marion, lovely peaceful video, watching you tidy your little garden,. It's so satisfying getting stuck into it xx xx I just love seeing your bird feeders , I keep thinking about putting some in my garden every time I see yours ..... maybe next year, which isn't too far away !!!! Love your mossy boots & dragon & am still envious of your lovely clematis plants 😊😊 love & hugs from OZ 🇦🇺😎😍 You're a treasure 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks Pauline. I'm keeping my fingers well and truly crossed that I manage to replace the arch before the clematis and honeysuckle get growing again in the spring. Hopefully the enforced prune will be beneficial to them in the end!
Great work Marion! I hope that you didn’t overdo! When I came here to my new little home, the front flower plot (much smaller than yours) was all overgrown and so with my broken wrist and all I cleaned out that area…it was very satisfying but as I used muscles that I hadn’t used it a while, I ended up very sore for a couple of days. But then it looked so good that I put Christmas lights on two little trees and now it looks really festive! Little things do make a difference! I hope that you don’t have to work too much to be ready for Christmas and that whatever you do will be enjoyable! Merry Christmas Maid Marion! 💕Donna
Well done! I feel embarrassed that my garden is not great this year. Haven't had the energy or motivation to get the garden sorted. Health iddues didnt help either. It's Summer here and all I have is cucumbers in the vege garden. The plums are starting to colour now. Have a great day. Merry Christmas from New Zealand. 🎉🎉
Its just about Christmas here in New Zealand, Its the 24, Thank you for all that you show use all Marion, I hope you take Christmas day off, Please, If someone wants to watch you, i hope they just watch reruns, and I hope they are kind with their heart and let you have that day off, For what is Christmas all about, LOVE, and thinking about others and NOT ourself for a change, I vote you have the hole day OFF, come on people, who with me, and i know you answer , and try and answer ,as many messages as you can, My wish, is , please dont answer my message , or i be a bit sad, cause its my wish to YOU, Merry Christmas Everyone, and for those alone, we are never alone, cause GOD give up his beloved son, for you, and me ,
Hi Marion - Everything looks all nice and tidy now. That’s a lot of hard work. It always brings me joy once I can see everything cleaned up in my garden beds. I would love to come and visit you but I’m way too far away. Where do you live? Glad you accomplished clearing out the leaves and stuff. Love & Hugs ❤️🎄❤️
Dear Marion, you have pretty bird feeders and I was wondering, do you not have squirrels able to climb the post and have a feast? Even squirrel-proof feeders don't deter our northern red squirrel. They are the size of chipmunks, and very feisty. Either that, or the deer gobble it up. All I can do is toss nuts etc. on the ground when the smarter birds come to the window. Isn't it funny how plants want to encroach on walkways. Maybe it's the heat they gather. I love the natural look of your very English garden. It has made me reflect on how much my grandmother must have missed gardening 'back home'. Hope to see you again tomorrow?
I love your cozy yard! I hope your back is okay after all that bending over. Do you have a back brace? The only reason I ask is at 6'2" and four back surgeries later...a brace is so important. Thanks for taking us along for Dec. 23 (Dec 24 USA).
I think we all wish that we could walk up your path and have a cup of tea and some cake with you… 🌸🌿🌸xx
You speak the truth - Marion is so welcoming in her videos you just want to become her friend😁

Well done, so much damage from those winds, 😮 looks so much better now 🌟🎄🎅🌈
It was such a pleasure to watch your gardening video.
What a lovely place.
💕Donna
Feliz Navidad Marion para ti y toda tu familia y un feliz año cargado de grandes proyectos junto a ti, un abrazo desde España!!
Great dragon, garden breathing again. It’ll be beautiful come spring. Some good twigs for makes.
I never run out of twigs and prunings! The poor plants though. I feel they're just asking me to lift them up again!
So satisfying to tidy up the garden! Your hellebores are lovely!
They were the only ones out so far. But there are a few different coloured ones around..
You accomplished much!
I felt like I did..
Oh I'll do that between Christmas and new year ❤ I'm in a flat only got a bit but you have encouraged me
I could have been out there all day to get it finished! For a tiny little area it can take some doing!
I love clearing out my garden.... making room for what's to come!!
I've a lot to get done out there!

Let's all turn the page for 2025 and hope that it's a better one.
We can live in hope Amy..
