Thank you for getting Old Smokey fixed C&C Equipment!! It was also fun giving a tour for the camera! Me and my dad both learned to run front end loaders as children, on that machine! Its loaded and un-loaded countless log trucks, stacked millions of bdft in logs, and kept the mill going full time back in the day!
Gotta love saw mill guy...obviously knows everything about his process....Best boss you can have is one who's worked from the bottom up....they know how things work and what will or will not work in their their business.....this is where I see young Tucker...learning his way, not just repairing stuff, but the whole process on what makes it happen....good on you, Clint, teaching him the proper way! Ive had personal experience of "straight from university into a managers position " knobheads, and they aren't worth shit with their 'computer says yes' mentality ....can't beat proper hands on experience..👍👍
@GenXmember I was just joking about, I really like Matt & the stuff he does. But joking apart, Matt doesn't do precision or delicate repairs. He's more just smash it until it runs then sell it. But it works for him & he's a very likable guy 🙂
Perkins Diesels Peterborough England - They were owned by the Massey Ferguson Parent company the Varity Corporation till 1998. Now a fully owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc. Love your videos,. All the best from the U.K.
Hello Clinton, Watching you Guys work on the wheel loader made me think it came from Logger Wade's mill in Derby. Then you went to a family run mill in Helmsburg, those People are working too hard and fast paced to do more than band aid fix stuff to get through to the day, intending to fix it tomorrow! Hard working People.
It was good to see the Allis Chalmers in your shop (something I didn't expect) for minor repairs, they made good wheel loaders and dozers. The sawmill tour was a pleasant surprise as well. Very enjoyable thank you.
Nice of you to use your channel to help a fellow UA-camr & business in your local area. I have actually watched some of his videos before but will make an effort to watch some more.
All those machines either had brakes or no brakes. Those batteries you need to lift them up as you open them up.Pull and pick up at the same time. Thanks for all the memories you brought back to me.
You could do with a set of stud drivers. They thread on the end of the stud and have a hardened polished bearing surface inside the bottom of the thread so they do not jam on. Makes fitting studs a breeze. Great job as usual.
The wheel loader's owner have done a great job at keeping it is great working order all these years - and good fix to Kevin and Mr C. Keep on smiling Tucker - you really do a great job. Nice to see the timber yard - we really don't realize what goes into a peice of timer.
I was not there at the saw mill with you Clint and Kevin, but I was in a way and that has to be one of the finest smells in the entire world! Thank you!
Hey! I was born and raised on the AC brand! My grandfather swore by the orange spectacular! It is a shame the company isn't in business as Allis Chalmers brand anymore been swallowed up by the corporate buyout fad of the last 30 yrs. AC had their fingers in every facet of construction and farm equipment! They made tractors that had value in my opinion. I have been on JD, White, IH, and MF plus a few newer foreign makes and they DO not measure up to AC's simplistic machines. I imagine you might get some orange spectacular fanatics that leave comments to the tune of 'Why so little footage of the loader?' LOL I have been waiting about 4 months for the 850J bulldozer build. Grrrrrr ! Wish I could own and run one, dream job! Thanks!
I will say Allis Chalmers and then Fiat built some great loaders, like the 645b and the Fr series, the problem today is the parts are becoming extremely scarce. Love the video keep them coming.
😂 Had to laugh when the drill bit broke through and thought it hit the gear. My butt puckered and said oh 😮easy don’t break the bit off and create another two days of work, gaskets and seals to recover the broken chunk of drill bit inside the front cover. 😂😂
Just wanted to share something i've learned. If you're repairing/rethreading holes with a tap by hand, especially in soft metal, it's always preferable to use a T handle or similiar 2 handled tool to turn the tap instead of a ratchet when possible. Turning with a ratchet will actually give you looser fitting threads, because the side load from using a single handled tool causes the tap to cut oversize. Sometimes when a lot of force is involved, like when cutting new large threads or into hard materials, you'll be much more likely to break a tap as well by using a single handled tool. Just another trick that i hope helps ya'll when things get tough! Love the videos.
Thanks so much for the tour around the Sowmill I really enjoyed something different but awesome I love that 👍 👌 I was impressed with the Sowmill is very interesting how things where in the old days everything was mechanical.
In "most" caes, threads in soft metals are coarse while those in steel can be fine or coarse. Fine threads are frequently used in steel when precise torque values are required.
The sawmill brought back memories. I worked at one while on summer high school vacation, 1971. I was not old enough to run any machines, so i got to sort cut lumber and unload box cars. Loss a lot of weight. 😊
Them boys definitely needs some lights, I'm surprised their not constantly chopping bits off themselves although they wouldn't be able to see if they did. Yyyyep
Love the new sign‼️ super cool‼️ Great job on ol smokey too! This week's footage even included scenes from the lumber jack series😂 C&C Equip & Lumber Yard! Hilarious 🤣 I subscribed to the Humbug Mill too....pretty cool ‼️ I'm a Patreon too.... can't wait to hear who wins the tools 🎉 I'm in the running...I'm excited‼️🇺🇸⭐🙏🍀 Cool barn footage. My Dad used to deliver the sawdust from mills. Brought back so many memories ❤️🇺🇸💯
I love that sometimes you fall down the same holes as the rest of us; then we get to see how to get out of them. Great job, would be a shame to lose that wheel loader when it's just run in. Sawmill tour is riveting.
Great video Clint. The sawmill was fun to watch. We bought some rough cut lumber from a sawmill for our barn stalls a long time ago. I remember trying to hammer nails through it.
The saw mill tour was great. I grew up with a sawmill in my town and it was really interesting learning about the different varieties of wood. That was back before Emerald Walmart bugs from china. Real lumber yards and sawmills are awesome places. I'll be waiting to see another one of those big azz truck builds. Those trucks have so much potential for great projects. It's still cool to see a piece of equipment with the Allis Chalmers name on it. My first job as a teen was repairing Allis Chalmers tractors. Great video as usual.
Hey Clint, nice to see a little snip of papa Randy working his magic over at the cleaning station! Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing the videos with us!!
This is a COOL Video. Love the diversity. Three or four months ago I bought 6 of the shop LED Round Hyperlights, from your first video on them, for my Dads old welding shop that I inherited. I use it to tinker and DIY stuff.
I was thinking that sawmill sure looked familiar and I realized I've watched his channel before. Every time I watch I can't help but think that figuring out which way to cut those logs would make my head explode. 😂
Superb and varied video 👍 Look after your local businesses folks Might be a bit more expensive than the big countrywide companies but you're helping to keep a community alive Once they're gone they've gone forever And then you can moan about all the imports that you helped to create
Thanks for a different change of scenery. Got done work overnight and waited till I got home to watch. Sawmill was cool to see as well. Keep em' coming, ty
It was enjoyable watching something a little bit different. Just like the cross country road trip you did with Kevin recently. Can't wait until you drop the next video.
Great video 👍Loving this video the only tech part was is it a two wire or single wire alternator, and Kevin proves yet again he can tap straight it's all about the editing 😂😂😂
One of your best videos to date, since I've been watching you, good fun and great work. Wishing you and yours all the very best from me in the UK. Cheers.
Cool mill and a Perkins diesel you helped fix up. I built boiler and dry kiln electrical controls for Wellons Inc , 20 years. They brought in Salem Equipment who made all kinds of saw mill equipment.
Really enjoyed your visit to the sawmill. We visited a closed down sawmill on Vancouver Island, lots of equipment still there in reasonable condition. It was off season so no guides, just figure out for yourself how it had worked. Great to have the boss man talk us through the process here.
I love it when you mix things up a bit, especially when Kevin tags along. Kevin's reactions and comments are priceless! You should buy a certain person a "Smile More" shirt from Roman Atwood, that would be hilarious, hehe. Keep up the great work guys! We love your videos!
I was thinking the same thing about that loader being a Diesel Creek project. I was actually airing to hear Clint say he was working on it for Matt or see Matt come walking around the corner. I guess if you poke holes through all stud holes in the block and heads so oil can bleed through, you don’t have to worry about bolts and nuts rusting out😂. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for getting Old Smokey fixed C&C Equipment!! It was also fun giving a tour for the camera!

@Helmsburgsawmill Quite the operation you have there.
Making fun of the Brit’s and how the pronounce aluminum. You guys call oil ule. Lol

Thanks for letting Mr C film your sawmill. It was really cool to watch it run.

Honestly that saw mill is amazing to watch. The skill it takes to get the most out of a log is fascinating.
Clint that’s a diesel creek project there
Except the shop doesn’t have a lot of junk covering everything 😜
Heck yeah
Haha except Clint has a couple more tools than a big hammer & a crescent wrench 😉
@@WombleUKDiesel Creek has about 5x as many subscribers.
@GenXmember I was just joking about, I really like Matt & the stuff he does.
But joking apart, Matt doesn't do precision or delicate repairs. He's more just smash it until it runs then sell it. But it works for him & he's a very likable guy 🙂
Thanks for taking us along for the tour of Helmsburg sawmill and Tuckers welding shop.
I noticed all equipment at saw mill was Canadian and USA . NO wonder it is still in operation . Loved this . Thx guys
Good to see an old Allis being worked and not rotting away in a field. That's all my grandfather farmed with was Allis Chalmers.
My granfather too!! hmmm maybe they knew each other lol
Perkins Diesels Peterborough England - They were owned by the Massey Ferguson Parent company the Varity Corporation till 1998. Now a fully owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc. Love your videos,. All the best from the U.K.
Enjoyed watching sawmill. Was in timber business for 45 years.

All those machines either had brakes or no brakes. Those batteries you need to lift them up as you open them up.Pull and pick up at the same time. Thanks for all the memories you brought back to me.
Thanks for helping Ian out. He means well and is trying.
The sawmill is a beautiful family business, I hope you can get the light people to help them out Clint

I do watch the Helmsburgsawmill youtube canal time to time, nice of you to help support your local businesses .
Helping out Helmsburg! Nice!
Man-what old time machinery in that mill so neat. and the whole dusty/dirty enviroment and a young member of the family learning the trade.
Wow! What a special video! Visiting the lumber yard! Thanks! Clint! For the tour!! 👌👍keep them coming! Cool looking sign!
I dont think I've ever seen a job that Randy hasn't done extremely well!😊 I could use a "Randy"!

Nice to se C & C Equipment showing some of the Local Shops and their operations .
Nice old wheelloader fantastic 😅😂❤🎉thumbs up from Sweden
Great video tour of the mill, great to see another generational family operation.
Thank you sir.
Nice repair on the ole Allis. Thanks for the saw mill tour, looks to be a pretty decent operation, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
My dad used to have a chain drive like the one you showed at the saw mill- but his was used for Manure removal in dairy barn
I will say Allis Chalmers and then Fiat built some great loaders, like the 645b and the Fr series, the problem today is the parts are becoming extremely scarce. Love the video keep them coming.
The welding shop has taken on a really different look for the better. Good job boys🙏❤️🇺🇸
This is why I like your Channel, in 1 show we saw tucker smile Kevin get greasy hands old ac get a makeover. And a old sawmill brilliant 👍👍👍
Thanks for showing the saw mill it takes me back as a kid running around a saw mill that my grandfather worked at.
😂 Had to laugh when the drill bit broke through and thought it hit the gear. My butt puckered and said oh 😮easy don’t break the bit off and create another two days of work, gaskets and seals to recover the broken chunk of drill bit inside the front cover. 😂😂

Pretty cool operation at the saw mill. Logger Wade has an awesome set up also.
Anchor Lube for the win! That stuff has magical powers when tapping.
Thanks so much for the tour around the Sowmill I really enjoyed something different but awesome I love that 👍 👌
I was impressed with the Sowmill is very interesting how things where in the old days everything was mechanical.
Thanks for the sawmill tour !!...always interesting stuff on your Y.T. channel !!!..and , a lot of humor too !!!
Enjoyed the Helmsburg Lumber Mill tour!
I just love that old girl. She's a year younger than me and I guarantee in better condition!😂
Helmburg sent me. Enjoyed and subscribed. 😊
Awesome! Thank you!

Awesome video thanks for taking us along to the sawmill and Tuckers shop. Great to see you smiling Tucker,no body ever said your dad was good at math.
In the early 70's I ran a AC545 with a four way Drott bucket on it. We were doing telephone duct . I thought it was a pretty good machine !
Never a dull moment! Sawdust will absorb some of the extra oil on the floor...
The sawmill brought back memories. I worked at one while on summer high school vacation, 1971. I was not old enough to run any machines, so i got to sort cut lumber and unload box cars.
Loss a lot of weight. 😊
nice seeing a small mill I worked on dry chain and a lumber stacker for NW Hardwoods in Eugene Oregon when it was owned by Weyerhaeuser
This loader is fine, it has the right charging system alternator on it,,, lol BigAl California thanks
Them boys definitely needs some lights, I'm surprised their not constantly chopping bits off themselves although they wouldn't be able to see if they did. Yyyyep
Just what I would have done great video thanks Clint and Kevin and Tucker and Scott

Thanks Clint, was nice to see the saw mill.
Ya never know what you will see on C&C’S UA-cam channel and that Log Mill was impressive to say the least!
Great video! I do a lot of thread repairs and if you cant jump up a size Helicoils are a great solution. Just throwing in my two cents.
Hey Clint, nice to see a little snip of papa Randy working his magic over at the cleaning station! Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing the videos with us!!
The carriage on that saw moved so muck quicker than I had imagined.

The saw mill was enjoyable, you are very entertaining I watch you all day some days.
I always enjoy when you guys do different types of equipment. 🇮🇪👍
Finally a channel where they at least pressure wash before working on equipment😀
That was great seeing around Helmsburgh Sawmill....Thank you Clint....Nice seeing Tucker in new workshop...stay safe and see you soon
It was enjoyable watching something a little bit different. Just like the cross country road trip you did with Kevin recently. Can't wait until you drop the next video.

Haha “that feels like a gear” 😂 on a very miserable stormy day in the U.K. made me chuckle
Now You've Got a Piece of Equipment!
Really enjoyed your visit to the sawmill.

Always a JOY to watch you guy’s .. entertaining and doing AMAZING WORK CHEERS TO ALL from Québec 🇨🇦

You know that professionals are people that get paid. Experts are people who actually know what they are doing. In Indiana too.
My dad hauled many loads of lumber from saw mills such as that when I was young, 😉👍, great video guys, and thanks for sharing.
Oh wood you look at that! Just look at it! 😁🤘
You guys are always up to something interesting. Glad you didn't drill the gear to bad!
Enjoyed watching the sawmill operation. Always good to worc as a team at a little community.
Love the old stuff 👍
Great video, love seeing the community around you guys and helping each other out!! Always something to do!! Great work guys 🤗🇺🇸
Good ole Smokey she is looking good guys great job 👏
Great video. You need to get filtered welding mask for your crew...those will keep lungs safe over time.
I remember watching one like that plow snow on my street when i was a wee feller back in the 70s.
The saw mill was excellent . So interesting 🇬🇧👏👏
Great video, enjoyed the Helmsburgsawmill tour !!!! Your friend from Michigan !!!!
