    I’ve had my 2014 BX 2670 radiator serviced etc etc etc it still overheats… currently I’m watching videos as my overheating Kubota is cooling down… it’s ridiculous… coolant overrunning the top… I could only mow a half acre

    Thanks so much, don’t think we have a nozzle but I guess in a pinch, the leaf blower will have to do. Will look into purchasing a nozzle though!

    The debris screen will fit improperly if one is not careful. There are guides the screen must follow and the handle should be on the passenger side. (North America) Also, check hose clamps for tightness, as they can allow minute amount of coolant to escape undetected.

      Thanks for the tip about checking hose clamps for tightness. There is no doubt a slightly loose hose clamp can cause a small amount of coolant to escape. For that matter, rubber coolant hoses should be inspected regularly as well. Thanks for watching! Please consider liking and subscribing.

    I'm a new owner, a woman and have no mechanical ability . appreciate the most basic information. will the tractor stall when overheated? tall. thick dusty pasture/ lawn. weeds..never cleaned out.

      Stalling is not really an issue, but the danger of overheating could damage the block or other components. Inspect the check points I show in the video regularly and you should not have an issue. Keep in mind if your tractor is new, you may notice the coolant goes down slightly because the air is being worked out of the system. This does not mean you have a leak. My BX2380 started overheating and I was stumped. Did not even think of the screen prior to the radiator. Thought I was going to have to trailer it to the dealer 40 minutes away for repair. The screen was 95% obstructed. Sure happy I checked out your video!

    Type of coolant

    • @averagejoevideo9556
      @averagejoevideo9556  Рік тому

      You can use the standard “old style” green coolant. Just be sure you are adding it at a 50/50 mix or buy the pre-diluted.
