23:15 That is for sure that SW is capable of doing these all design changes, though it makes me intrigued whether we are-as users- capable of making the second phase design changes that easily :)

You make it look so easy, I have a hard time just copying you as you go. I hope I can be as good as you one day. Keep making videos and please explain some of the smaller details you do.

Brutal Model Mania. Good news is I started modeling this the same as you. I was a little confused as to why mirroring wasn't used for the flange. darn I forgot that it was a bolt hole circle for the flange, and even forgot that I could use the system planes. I had a feeling you might mention the thin wall feature. When you performed the back plate, I did that exact extension just because I knew the sphere wasn't going to be extended over. "Roll back and take a look at this feature by feature" Ya know...I very much dislike when I don't think of things like this.
For some reason I couldn't tell that it was the whole sphere round for the added material from the drawing.
    Thank you again.
I'd like to recommend a link to the model mania blogspot.

There's an error in the drawing. It says all dimensions are in inches so I went ahead and draw the part in inches except for the fillet (because it was explicitly defined as mm). Reference: blogs.solidworks.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/Model-Mania-2003-Phase-1.jpg

I wish I knew this was an error before I made it.

Without knowing the 2nd set of changes, what if someone use a Sweep feature instead 'Extrude' for the first Rib? Why not to do this?

Indunil, can you clarify which rib? The back/front with the large 20mm 90degree fillet? Change the location of your sweep profile to the other side of the part (back to front). You'll also need new guide curves? Very surprised that using sweep was even possible because the cross sectional profile changes throughout the part no?

Guys, I think the videos are useful, but please can you sort out the consistency on your drawings. On the drawing for this tutorial, it says that the model should be in inches, NOT mm. Then you do a video in mm?! (and the fillets are in mm?! and the CB holes) On another video, you missed off a dimension. Really getting quite annoying!

It says unless otherwise specified, which it is specified multiple times in the drawing that the dimensions are in metric. The counterbored holes specifically say 6mm and even list the units. It also says "All fillets are 3mm" and again even lists the units. You have use a little bit of agility when reading drawings and can't just blindly go by what the title block says because the title block is generic information and is designed to be interpreted appropriately. I understood this to be in mm.
