Zinfandels are one of my main stream varietal favorites. And I didn't know that it's color is closer to Pinot Noir than to Cabernet Sauvignon. I learned a while back that Primotivo is essentially Zinfandel, so I keep my eyes out for those too. Wish I knew more about Mediterranean regions, and maybe I should look into that.
