I commented last month that I couldn't find the Macon - Verze Chardonnay and was sad. I was in Whole Foods the other day and thought I had found it, but when I got home it was Macon - Villages Chardonnay. Still enjoyed it! :)

Hi. You said in the vidio that Pinot Noir combine with chicken and fish. I toltaly agree! So... Here in the hotel must of customer prefer withe wine with those plates. There are another way to convince them?

Have you tried Albariño from Uruguay? The country has roots in Galicia. They are getting better and better. Try it!

What I specificly take from this, as really all of it adds to my learnings of wine, is to pair fattier foods with higher acidity wines. I’ll try to remember this and get my group of friends to have an evening tasting/meal to experiencing this ”fact”. Yet another good reason to mingle! 🥂😊🥂

Thanks for the video and tips on food pairing! Over the last few weeks I've been looking at chardonnays to purchase to dive deep into it. My local region is Margaret River Western Australia, so I fortunately have an excellent starting point with Leeuwin Estates Art Series, Vasse Felix's Heytesbury, Cloudburst's chardonnay, Cullen's Kevin John, Domaine Naturaliste Artus, Pierro VR, Moss Wood, etc. Unfortunately though, they're all on the pricey side usually $80-200 a bottle.

I paid $100 for a Flowers Camp Ridge Chardonnay, $75 for Chateau Montelena Chardonnay, and I’m thinking of spending $110 for Buena Vista Cabernet Sauvignon. Of course that doesn’t happen so often lol. $35 is my comfort spot 😊.

Thanks for the video. I am (trying) to go completely Italian/greek in my diet. I have a sorta pen pal that has been giving me Italian pasta recipes to try and I like them very much. (By the way, she says Greeks know nothing about pasta! LOL) I also make my own bread twice a week and make an olive oil cake that is to die for! I am venturing into the wines as of late. I find Primitivo's from Puglia that are my favorite red. Recently, I found a Puglia Cab labeled as Primitivo (80% Cab, 20% Primitivo) that was one of the best wines I have every tasted. As I understand, the Primitivo came from Greek Zinfindel grape. Anyway, good stuff. I will look for these wines you have reviewed, paying close attention to the DOC/DOCG certification. Ciao!

I am just confused about the word Cuvee, the internet data says that the word literally means a Vat/Tank/Cistern (sometimes used for fermentation), or that CUVE is referring to "a wine that's made of a specific blend of different varieties of grapes. Confusingly, it can also be used to describe the first cut from the pressing of the grapes, which is regarded as the best juice..." Or maybe it's just all of the above, hm. p.s I am so lost in the cuve...

Nice video. My two favorite are Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. I've tried Malbec it's good! I'll also drink Merlot, hell I'll try any red wine! I recently tried Barbera and Barolo. They were both very good, but for me of those two Barolo was better! Cheers!

Whitening is horrible for you tooth enamel. Drink white wine or just deal with the staining.

Caymus has a 1 liter bottle
