- Athlete's foot cream. This video is on Athlete's Foot cure, spray, treatment, powder, symptoms and prevention.
Athlete's foot (medically known as tinea pedis) is the common term for a skin infection of the feet or toes caused by a group of fungi called dermatophytes. They thrive in warm and moist environments such as changing rooms, showers, shoes and socks, so they are also happy living on your feet where conditions are similar. Athlete’s foot usually occurs between your toes, but it can also affect the soles and sides of your feet.

ATHLETE'S FOOT SYMPTOMS:
• Itchy and burning toes and feet
• Scaly, very dry, cracked or peeling skin
• Fissures/splits and softening and whitening of the skin between the toes
• Cracking skin on the sole or heels
• Blisters
• Smelly feet
For pictures of the symptoms please visit: www.nhs.uk/conditions/athlete...
ATHLETE'S FOOT TREATMENT:
Athlete's foot can be treated locally with antifungal creams, sprays, liquids and powders that are available from your pharmacist without a prescription.
Topical antifungals include Terbinafine, Miconazole and Clotrimazole. Treatment should be used as directed by your pharmacist and should be continued for two weeks after the symptoms have disappeared to ensure the infection has been treated effectively.
WHEN TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR WITH ATHLETE'S FOOT:
• Treatments from a pharmacy don't work
• You're in a lot of discomfort
• Your foot is red, hot and painful - this could be a more serious infection
• You have diabetes - foot problems can be more serious if you have diabetes
• You have a weakened immune system - for example, you have had an organ transplant or are having chemotherapy
• If you are pregnant antifungal medication may not be suitable for you and you should make an appointment with your doctor to find out the best way to treat your athlete’s foot.
PREVENT GETTING & SPREADING ATHLETE'S FOOT:
There are really easy ways to avoid athlete's foot keeping your feet clean and dry is one of the most important prevention tips because fungi love warm and moist places.
• There’s no point treating your feet from athlete's foot if you constantly re-infect them by putting them into damp, fungal infected footwear. So change them on a regular basis and don’t wear the same footwear every day have a few pairs of work shoes and gym trainers so you can rotate.
• I have 3 pairs of work shoes that I rotate through during the weeks this is super important as it takes 24-48 hours for shoes to dry out properly so alternate and it will help.
• If you really have to wear the same footwear day after day, let’s say you're on holiday. Then dry them out using a hair dryer on a cold setting, taking the insoles out can also help them dry quicker.
• Another tip is to make sure your footwear isn’t too tight, if its too tight your toes are going to be squeezed together which encourages heat, sweating and fungus.
• Flip flops wear them in the bathroom and in public showers, pools, hot tubs, changing rooms basically wherever you may walk barefoot. It’s going to ensure you don't shed skin around for others to pick up but also stop you picking up other species of fungus. Also never wear anyone else's footwear.

One thing that causes pleasure and pain at the same time- digging your toes into the carpet until they’re raw.

Some really beautiful shots on this video I agree :) Thanks for watching :)
You are amazing Abraham. I had terrible Athlete's foot for years and in the end couldn't b bothered to do much about it, just enjoyed doing the itch! But lately its spread to the nails where they have become discoloured so I panicked. I have been following your steps for past 3 weeks and my feet have never felt so good. I try to itch but feel no need to do so now. Cannot thank ur videos enough. I have been washing my feet every night, drying them with a hairdryer and applying lamasil. Oh my god thank you so much for no pictures! You're amazing! Thames so much
Oddly I had athletes foot only on my right foot. Started using Lamisil cream every night before bed. It is now all gone and my foot is smooth again. I'm still using the Lamisil to make sure it doesn't reoccur.
Why would he change when the one he uses works for him lol
It's on my right foot also
I'm battling with athletes foot for about 5 months now. I finished 3 tubes of Lamisil, along with some other OTC medicine I tried. Lamisil helped a little. I can hardly see traces of the athletes foot on the skin, except 2 spots but it didn't solve the issue completely for me. I can feel the formication if I go out to the sun. And I haven't worn anything else than flip flops for 5 months. When the winter comes and I have to wear socks and shoes again, I'm sure it will come back harder.
Currently I'm using a stronger cream that my doctor suggested.
@@pixelbasedlifeforms doesn't itch since applying Vicks vapor rub but still very scaly and no more blisters

I had athletes foot for 24 years and I am 27 years old... I'm tired of it
Nail fungus requires time to mend even with a solution. My partner has used this fungus treatment method NailFungusTreatment46.blogspot.com
to his nail 2x a day, for a number of months. The treatment method is actually helpful. In just couple weeks, his two pinkie and big toes are cured; however, stubborn fungus infection on the nail’s edge is really difficult to remove.?
James Alexander what about mocassin foot even the pills the dr gave me don’t seem to be working
@James Alexander what if you put the anti fungal cream on the tissues in between your toes? Would that work even better??

😀I see that all the time in my gym too :)
I actually "caught" this after being in bed with influenza for a week! The last few days I had the intense itching and just knew.I made the mistake of not using it long enough after it was gone (about a week instead of 2) and it came back. So i'm still using it now 3 weeks after the last lot of symptoms have gone. Scared to stop! And yes I am shoe rotating :-D

So I’ve been having itchiness in the sole of my left foot for a while. But for the last two weeks the itch has become very noticeable especially at night. It’s been interfering with my sleep. I don’t know what to do. Ive tried a tea tree oil soak and I’ve also used hydrocortisone cream. It’s come to the point where I formed a blister from all the scratching and I inadvertently broke skin. I don’t know what this is.
Great video👌🏼😉

You're welcome :)
I didn't know this exist even though i suffered severe athlete's foor when i was in the 4th grade. My mom just called it a rash
thanks for the video...however when I research, it says to wear synthetic socks rather than cotton, since cotton holds moisture more...I am confused!
Try table salt paste between toes while wearing socks. Should see results immediately after days work
Tip: wrap your foot wear in a blanket/towel and put them in the washer every week or every other week. Not only will this kill any present bacteria/fungithat causes athlete's foot, it will freshen them up and make them look brand new too.
Great video once again 😇💊🔬😎

AbrahamThePharmacist I sure did sub
If people don't want to buy things from the store, you can fill a bucket or something which you can put your foot/feet in and fill it with warm water mixed in with a good amount of salt, i did this and it went away relatively quickly 👍
I don't scratch but it spreads like wild fire. I applied hydrogen peroxide and a powder afterward but it continued spreading whenever there is a little warmth and moisture. Doctor prescribed me Travogen cream(isoconazol nitrate). Feeling a Lil better now let's see if it will cure or not
give me names of the spray or medcine, i can ask in the pharmacy here in Mauritius.

I found that by separating the affected ties with 2 pieces toilet paper folded to make a stick weaved in between the toes works. I just do it every morning before putting my socks and shoes. I have no infection but I do it as a prevention now. Before you try this just dig out the old white skin and try not to bleed.
James Alexander hi mate, no I’ve been doing for decades. I’ve tried everything from creams, spray etc. but air and dryness is the best cure. Great to hear it works for you too.
I do that too but it doesn't work for long, I also soak my feet in water & bleach, seems to clear up the fungus, but I have to keep doing it or it will come back.
I don't know if I have it or not. I've put coconut oil on my feet for years and I have no issue as long as I do that daily but if I stop my feel will start cracking not on my heal but in under toes and on the big ball part below your big toe

I swear clean cotton socks everyday, and have tried every cream I think on the market. I have had peeling toes that split sometimes for almost 20 years. Most of my life that I can remember. Does epsom salt work for relief the pain
Hi from India 🇮🇳
My toes fungal infection become very irritating
Idk why I'm not even athletic. I mean I just help with the athletes for emergencies on the track. Maybe that's why? I have this one cream (Zarin cream) and I'm not sure if it did work.
I had issue with fungus between the toes that i could not keep gone with foot cream. Podiatrist put me on oral lamisil for 2 months. Cleared everything up. Been off of that for maybe a month. Noticed fungus between 2 toes last night. Started cream again. Do I start over again with creams or should I go straight back to doctor for more oral medication?
Soak you feet in Aged Urine while you sleep in a plastic grocery bag and wear long socks. Do this every other day or every day for a week or 2. Now it's gone forever, however all shoes need replacing from reintroducing the fungus again.
coconut creams and conditioner, coconut creams or conditioner are good for itching
I found a solution to itchy toes and other things that itch. I'm not young, and always had athelet's foot problems so bad that my feet would bleed. I would scratch them, then they would get somewhat infected. The itching never went away for years. Was walking on the hot sand at a beach and noticed that the itch was being pulled away as I dug my feet in. Got an idea: when I got home, I filled a pot with scalding hot tap water. Then I slowly poured it on JUST the areas of my toes that itched. I could feel the itch being pulled out. My feet were so bad that I had to do this twice that night. After this it felt so good I could sleep all night long.
For me, the hot water never hurt me. Though I have to say, be careful if you are going to try this. You must have a steady hand.
I had to do this maybe 2 or 3 more times that week But the itch was solidly gone. Not only that but the infections were gone, too. I've done this for bug bites, also. Never had the bug bite itch, again. That was about 34 years ago.
Let me say that I've tried most all other solutions: they never worked for me at all.
Great information! Thanks. How do you pour hot scalding water on though. Without hitting soft skin?
Foot link? love it! 😆 Question? Can you get it in a shared shower? When younger & was married, then husband had athletes foot, & think I had gotten it from him - thru not cleaning the tub, said he did, don’t think he did - never had before then.. this possibly?
Definitely a possibility, thanks for tuning in, sending awesome vibes :)
